(2) TOBAGO TIME failed to get involved last week but she moves inside tonight and has no excuse not to be aggressively handled. (4) VELOCITY MCSWEETS has been a reliable player lately and tonight should be no exception. (7) CHUPPAH ON beat many of these last week rating kindly on the engine; she moves back outside tonight but she has the gate speed to be involved early.

Race 2: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(3) GUSSY'S TRUMP CARD returns from The Meadowlands where he was a bit overmatched and he's had some local success this season; Braxton Boyd picks up the drive tonight and he could be a price option in this tough-to-figure event. (7) RB wired the field from the seven hole last start and paid a good price. Buter figures to have him moving early again and can repeat if not too roughed up. (4) GENERAL MONTANA N is a fresh import for Jenn Bongiorno but he's looked a bit short in qualifiers and his lone pari-mutuel start; I prefer to see one first, especially considering he'll be taking plenty of money.

Race 3: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N just missed in his last two after long grinding efforts and the recent import seems ready to get over the hump. (2) DIAMONDBEACH drops in class, draws well and is a threat to take these a long way on the front end. (4) NOWHERE CREEK A improved on the drop last week; he's back up a notch but could land a piece with a smooth trip.
Race 4: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) SEMI TOUGH finds a bit better starting spot tonight and he figures to be more involved; he may be appealing as a price play with #3 attracting much attention. (1) COPPER TEEN gets Bartlett back in the bike and is a legit speed threat. (3) FUNATTHEBEACH N finds himself eligible for this lower condition despite a win versus better when we last saw him locally. Multiple stakes winner is obvious here as a top contender.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) DAAMERICANSKY shipped in to Yonkers for his last start and gave it a good down-the-road try. That was a much-improved effort and he could take the next logical step forward tonight. (2) FOX VALLEY REN was very good in his first local try, then tailed off a bit. Last week he finished mildly from a tough post and the move inside will help his cause. (4) MINGO JOEL debuts for Engblom off the $15K claim; shows improvement?
Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) MR DS ROCK came on too late and could only muster a third-place finish in his local return; he steps up a notch and lands outside again but he's got the back class to be competitive here. (2) LUCIANO N almost pulled off the upset last start but was outfinished on the wire; veteran's tactical speed always gives him a chance. (1) FORREST BLU returns from The Big M where he represented himself well; barn change here to Cory Stratton makes him interesting.
Race 7: 2-5YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(1) ONE LUCKY DUDE is fresh stock arriving from the Midwest and joins the DiDomenico barn; gelding was a winner in a NW1 event last out at Dayton and he should go well here in his soft field. (3) C BET HANOVER broke in two of his last three but sandwiched in between was a nice effort where he had speed at both ends. (6) FUN MUNKY acclimated well here last week and the two-year-old looks to be on the improve.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) STOP STARING moves up the ladder for the fourth consecutive start since the barn change to Travis Alexander despite not winning but those were three solid runner-up efforts; he faces some legit ones here but seems sharp enough to compete. (3) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK lost ground last start while chasing a good one but overall the Schnittker trainee fits with these and should be on or near the front. (4) THE WILD CARD is steady stock from the Burke barn.

Race 9: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) CALLMEQUEENBEE A can be excused for touring the track last week as she had the eight hole and no real chance of gaining. Her start two back from the rail resulted in a solid uncovered score. (3) SHECANDANCE N left alertly and finished well in her local return; Bartlett drives again and the Engblom trainee looks like a player. (6) PAIGES GIRL doesn't have a ton of early speed which obviously hurts her chances but with a live trip she can land a nice piece.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N cruised up at Monti in his first U.S. start and now the Pete Tritton import gets Stratton in the bike for his Yonkers debut; he figures to be quite live from this spot. (1) ROLLWITHPAPAJOE begins his hike back up the class ladder as he was a winner at the NW5000 level. (5) HEISMAN PLAYER seems to be regaining his confidence with two recent much-improved efforts.
