Race 1: 2-5YO winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(4) AYR BALMORAL GB has raced well enough to win in practically every start since arriving at Yonkers for Burke but just can’t seem to get over the hump. I can’t give up on him now. (6) SWEETHOMEALABAMA N has failed to get involved in his two U.S. starts, including last week when bet down to the favorite and finished well but only for third. Let’s see if Stratton tries to get him involved earlier. (3) I B LOVIN arrives from the Midwest and into the Dilloian, Jr barn but he’s missed almost a month of action; could be one to watch for the top spot in future weeks.

Race 2: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) LADY WISHES raced very well to be second best out of the eight hole in her first start after arriving from The Meadowlands and a similar effort can get the job done. (5) EBONY LADY woke up with a better effort last week where she rallied for third; should be a threat again. (1) PLEASURE SEEKER had no gain last week but hit the board in her previous three tries.

Race 3: NW10468 in last 5 starts Pace
This is a solid field for this level. (5) MISSED THE TRUTH A arrives for the Cushing barn making just his third U.S. start and he raced well up at Plainridge. This outfit has had proven success with these imports and he figures to offer plenty of value. (7) IDEALSOMEMAGIC A is on the comeback trail looking for two straight now for the Stratton barn. Don’t forget he was a $400K earner last year. (2) SONNY WEAVER N drops a level and has a post edge on most of these; must-use.
Race 4: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(2) RAISE THE ANTE dominated last week upon arrival and the connections stuff her back in for the same tag looking to take another. (3) UNITY drops to $20’s, draws better and picks up the leading driver; lots of positives here (except the price). (7) FORTUNADA didn’t have the easiest of trips last week but still rallied with pace. Tough post but will be a good price.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) ALADDIN makes his second local start for Lachance and his second on Lasix after a willing debut. Rail draw puts him in play almost by default and he can trip out from this spot. (4) GINGRAS BEACH has Yannick driving again back in on consecutive weeks and with significant post relief. Similar post three back he blew away a notch lower. (2) JAHAN HANOVER just doesn’t win as often as he should though he remains a major player for these connections.
Race 6: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(7) REAL LADY SADIE goes for three straight after the Laterza reclaim and with her early speed and aggressive driver the outside post may not matter. (5) TOBAGO TIME goes back to Bartlett with Devita now listed as trainer and she’s had prior success in this barn. (1) BEANTOWN BABE gets another crack from the rail after faltering last week at odds-on; two back she beat $20’s at 1/9 odds.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) HEMSWORTH N likely has a class edge on a couple of youngsters in here who will attract attention; he’s been facing much better most of the year and was a winner three back at this level. (1) VICI finished willingly in his last two and now the 4-year-old moves all the way in to the rail; Bongiorno trainee is a player. (7) GEM QUALITY is a lightly-raced 3-year-old from Chris Ryder with plenty of stakes experience; honestly I have no idea what to expect here but I’ll lean elsewhere. Extra mention to (8) SPEED MAN N, who continues to bring it every week and DOES have the speed to clear this tougher field.
Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(4) YS SENSATIONALCITY has been a model of consistency for top connections and it’s hard to envision her not being right there at the wire. (1) CRÈME DELIGHT isn’t the most prolific winner though she figures to be looking at a live trip, possibly in the pocket. (2) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP merits a look due to the barn change; likely a big price looming.

Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) TICKERTAPE HANOVER went wire-to-wire as the favorite last start and gets a free ride at this level; with Bartlett driving again he’s a deserving chalk. (1) CADILLAC BAYAMA just missed two back from a similar spot. (3) TIP TOP CAT sits at just one win in 21 starts through his 4-year-old season but the Burke trainee has hit the board 66% of the time.
Race 10: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) YS DO IT RIGHT returns to Yonkers at the lowest level after a stint in Pennsylvania and he’s had success here for this barn generally facing better. Driver upgrade here to Gingras and is somehow listed at 20/1. (3) GREAT SOMEWHERE is reunited with Holland and he’s got early speed from a decent post. (1) ALL ALONE has burned loads of cash recently and figures to be a low price again; use caution.
