Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 11/9

Race 1: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(4) MIDNIGHT REBEL was a good second last week at The Meadowlands in his debut for the Jenn Bongiorno barn and although he's just 1 for 33 lifetime he looks like the one in here. (5) VELOCITY GATOR comes out of the same race as the top one, and he tired pretty badly in the late stages. Overall form has been decent, however. (7) SETH HANOVER moves to the Burke barn after a nice run in the Pennsylvania fair stakes; big driver/trainer upgrade here.

Race 2: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(5) UCANTTOUCHTHIS is more young stock from Team Bongiorno and although he's been shut out since hiking to this NW6 level he still seems best in here. (3) CAPTIVATE HANOVER gets Bartlett back in the bike and they teamed up for some nice efforts a few starts back. (2) L DEES JACK LOPEZ moves back inside and can hit the ticket with a smooth, ground-saving trip.

Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(2) WATCH MY LUCK returns to Yonkers after facing some decent stock out of town and she was recently third at this level from a similar spot. (6) TALL POPPY N owns a win at this level and has been right there in all recent starts. (1) SHECANDANCE N folded badly under pressure week but her prior form was fine.

Race 4: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) FOREVER FAV just missed in his last two at the $75K claiming level and this barn has been showing life recently. (1) DELIGHTFUL TERROR was claimed by Burke last week for a healthy sum of money and if he maintains his good form he'll be right there. (6) PAT STANLEY N drops a bit in class and did beat better than these a couple of months back.

Race 5: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(3) BLUEBERRY HEAVEN finally broke a long winless streak last week and he stays at the winning level looking to double up. (7) BUGGER BRUISER has been firing from the gate recently and that could help set him up with a live trip. (2) GRAND PRIORITY moves back inside and will be more involved for Jenn/Joe.

Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(3) FEELIN RED HOT dropped in for a tag last week and the Burke trainee faltered on the front end as the non-favorite. Classy mare deserves another chance. (1) BALFAST N had a live trip and took aim but came up a touch shy in her debut at this level; big threat from this spot if she can replicate that effort. (4) MILWOOD BONNIE N can sit a close-up trip and land a nice share.

Race 7: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(2) VEL MR NICE GUY came on way too late from the eight hole last week but now the recent addition to the DiDomenico barn moves inside; he'll be hammered at the windows but does seem the likeliest of winners. (1) SARANAC BLUE CHIP transitions back from age-restricted claimers and lands the rail with Bartlett picking up the catch drive. (6) SAULSBROOK HERO goes for three straight for the suddenly live Forte barn.

Race 8: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN N goes for three straight yet doesn't have to jump too high in class due to the AE provision. To the front again? (6) TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER now makes his third start for the Alanga barn facing softer; I have to believe he'll be heard from. (2) GLOBALDOMINATION N draws well in this abbreviated field and should land a nice piece.

Race 9: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace

(6) SIMON SAYS HANOVER acclimated nicely last week when he was a solid second from the eight hole; Alagna trainee draws outside his main competition again but must be followed. (4) IMAGINARY LINE never got involved last out facing older, more seasoned rivals. This is a better spot. (3) GAMBLINGTERROR never misses a check.

Race 10: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(4) SAMSON BLUE CHIP is a head and a neck shy of a four-race winning streak since moving to the Blackler barn and picking up Bartlett. Top billing here, despite not offering much value. (2) FROMASHESTOASHES N is a recent Down-Under import and he's raced decently in two starts at Philly. (5) ALMANAC had two poor outings here recently but he added Lasix and has looked much better in his last two at Pocono.

Race 11: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) DANCIN DRAGON gets class relief and moves back inside; Ed Hart trainee will probably be overlooked in the wagering but he'll be sitting a close-up trip and maybe he gets lucky. (3) SAVE ME A DANCE has been right there in practically every recent start for Burke. (1) MICKY GEE N will probably be the favorite again as he drops and starts inside but he can very easily disappoint his backers.

Race 12: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) LETTUCERIPRITA A managed to turn things around in his first start off the DiDomenico claim. Would be no surprise to see the veteran take another. (2) MACHIATTO A never really fired in his first start for the Jenn Bongiorno barn; does he improve tonight or burn more money? (4) ZIGGY SKY dropped and popped last week at a nice price; with a live trip he can land a share here.
