Race 1:NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) GINGRAS BEACH had a productive 2022 debut effort where he was second best to a sharp winner; Bucci trainee is long-overdue for a win and seems to have found a live spot. (5) SOHO WALLSTREET A was rather dull last week but that was against $30K claimers, and he was taken for that price; improves? (4) LIKE CLOCKWORK went a tough trip in his local return but didn't tire all that badly.

Race 2: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(5) IC A FREE SPIRIT had a pretty weak 2021 season but he hasn't been all that bad recently out of town and he ships in to face a blank field; Kakaley picks up the drive. (3) ARI ALLSTAR hits the board with regularity and should do so again from this spot. (1) MACHING TIME was nowhere last week at The Meadowlands but he likely needed that start.

Race 3: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) THE DOWNTOWN BUS drops to the lowest level he's seen in a long time and he gets Stratton back in the bike. (2) SKIP TO MY LOU continues to burn money; I assume he'll win eventually, however. (5) PEPPER GUY also drops in class and can show more.
Race 4: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) WHOS BETTER has looked good in two starts since returning locally and while he does face better he lands the innermost post to compensate; veteran can take this field down the road. (4) J B MAUNEY N has some talent and he finally gets some post relief. (5) SILAS SEELSTER may be at the mercy of the pace but he was second best two back at the $100K claiming level.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) HEAVEN'S GAIT lands his first inside post in ages and he can take this with a smooth trip.(5) TIGER BARON hasn't raced since December 6th but his barn has been sending out live ones and this Koch trainee has class to him. (3) AIR FORCE HANOVER gets Bartlett to drive tonight for his local return and he draws well enough.
Race 6: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(5) SARANAC BLUE CHIP had two wins over at The Meadowlands in December but despite tiring last start overall he's looked much better and he will be a decent price in this competitive event. (1) PERFECTBOY HANOVER also returns from across the river and he was going well in age-conditioned claimers when last seen here; Gillis trainee seems like a must-use from this spot. (3) LAUGHAGAIN HANOVER had a productive 3-year-old season with over $100K banked despite just one win.
Race 7: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(1) COLONEL BAYAMA had a tough time getting involved last week but now he moves all the way inside and is in line for a live trip. (5) IMOUTTHEDOOR has taken two straight and the Iowa shipper steps up to face better but could be up to the task. (2) SILENT SPLENDOR is an interesting shipper from Northfield who saw his win streak snapped last out when up against a 1:53 2/5 winner; we'll see how he fits in here.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
This time last year (4) MARK WITHA K was entered for $12,500 but meanwhile last week he looked strong beating the 50's, and he was taken by Travis Alexander. We'll see if he can keep it up for his new barn. (3) SOMEBADDUDE was a winner last out at Philly for Team Bongiorno and he was holding his own when last at Yonkers; logical. (5) MACHEASY A was a good second last week to the streaking Jesse Duke.
Race 9: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace
(4) CAPTIVATE HANOVER was up against a tough one in his last couple but he managed to carve out board spots both times; Lance Hudson trainee may need a bit of trip luck but he does seem fast enough to go with these. (1) ULTIMAROCA disappointed last week but maybe the Burke trainee will be tighter coming back on consecutive weeks. (3) HIPPESTCANINTOWN gets needed post relief and will be more involved.

Race 10: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(4) APRIL AVA was a bit short last week in her local return but if she makes the front tonight she'll be tough. (1) BALFAST N was a 9/1 upset winner from a very similar spot last week. (6) COWGIRL LILLY came up just shy battling with the top two in last week's edition of this race and she figures to be on the move early again.
Race 11: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) CALVIN K was bet down to odds-on favoritism last week but he failed miserably; maybe the gelding will try different tactics tonight at what should be a better price. (5) TULLOW N has plenty of back class and his hard to ignore at this basement level. (1) VENENO moves all the way from post 8 to post 1.
