Race 1: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) BETTORROCK rolled from the back to win going away facing a notch lesser with Stratton picking up the drive; he's back in the bike and has a legit chance to repeat with a reasonable trip. (4) VIVA LAS VEGAS N drops and draws an improved post for Lachance; logical. (2) ORLANDO BLUE A took money last week looking to repeat but broke; Holland is back driving now looking to repeat the effort from two back.

Race 2: NW24491 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SEMI TOUGH has a class edge on these and I would think the Burke trainee should be able to control these. (2) WHATS STANLEY GOT A earned a long-awaited win last week and he may be out and grinding again. (3) ROCK DIAMONDS N was also a sharp winner last out; faces tougher but the veteran has speed which could dissuade outside rivals from leaving.

Race 3: 3-5YO NW2 races or $28,733 lifetime Pace

Interesting race with shippers from Ireland and Britain. I'll stick local and choose (6) TRAIN STATION, as Bartlett was listed on three and goes with this Engblom 3YO making his debut for those new connections. Seems like he's been facing tougher out of town. #2 and #4 both hail from sharp stakes barns but have underachieved and race in overnights; either can be considered for a piece.

Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) JUDDY DOUGLAS A dropped and popped last week with a sharp sprint home and should be in line for a similar trip. (4) PHOENIX OF FLUZZY also popped on the class drop and Bartlett gets the catch drive. Historically he's been live when on Blackler trainees. (3) WINDSUN RICKY was second to #4 last start and he's definitely in with a chance.

Race 5: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace

(8) AINTNOHOLLABACKGRL is a major reach here because of the poor draw but she's been a live closer in all recent races and honestly is there anyone to get excited about in here? (4) FLIP THE SCRIPT won from the pocket two back but folded late on the front end last out after clearing from the outside; she's probably the favorite in here and I wouldn't fault anyone for playing her. (6) CASIE'S BELIEVER hasn't done much lately but was facing better when last at Yonkers.

Race 6: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) WICHITA LINEMAN responded to the driver change to Brennan last week as he cruised on the front end; he's got the back class to handle a bit better. (2) THE REAL ONE is nearing the end of his 13YO season and he's got an outside chance to crack $100K for the year. Lachance trainee has had an amazing career and can still bring it. (6) ADAM TWELVE has to face tougher now as he moves up to the also-eligible NW9 condition. 3YO is a head shy of winning three straight since the move to the Engblom barn.

Race 7: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(5) VICI was a decent earner in an extended run in Kentucky for the Jenn Bongiorno barn and he prevailed at 1/20 odds last start at Philly in a NW3 race. Looks like he faces similar here and can repeat. (6) OAKWOOD PADDY IR has looked good in three starts since Robert Cleary took over the training and he too arrives from Philly but may be at a tactical disadvantage from this post. (3) LAZ gets some post relief and figures to be closer to the action. Stratton opted off his brother's horse for #6 which isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for his chances.

Race 8: NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) BIRTHDAY returns locally for Burke and he was a winner here three back; post edge may be just enough to prevail over some classy rivals. (6) JACK'S LEGEND N is making his way back up the class ladder and he's a clear player with these; some early speed would be nice. (1) LUCKBEWITHALEX closed sharply two back but didn't fire last week; he moves to the rail and can pick up a piece with a smooth trip.

Race 9: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(1) MCANGEL raced evenly last week for a small piece but her prior three starts were from the rail and resulted in a win and two runner-up finishes. Forte trainee will look to cut the mile or shake free from the pocket. (5) MIKI ROSE gets away from the eight hole and Joe B picks up the catch drive. I wonder if he gets more aggressive with the mare. (6) PURE SILKY has been a bit disappointing lately but still looms a threat on the switch to Brennan. Meanwhile, if #7 blasts and clears with Bartlett it may be all over early.

Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace

(5) FEELIN RED HOT will be firing to the lead and it's 50/50 if she holds on, so technically she's an underlay as she figures to be 3/5. I can't find anyone in here who appears capable of stepping up to pass her, however. (7) DREAM DANCING draws poorly but she does drop from the $50's to the $20's and can threaten if she can somehow find her way into the race. (1) SEZANA N figures to sit the trip by virtue of the rail draw.
