Race 1: NW10311 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) MUSCLE BART A hasn't been a powerhouse since arriving but the Shane Tritton trainee does have a 1:52 3/5 win to his credit from a couple of months back and that effort makes him a player with these; 10/1 ML. (7) NIGHT HAWK returns from Philly after two solid tries there and faces softer than he's accustomed to; problem is the post. (1) TWIN B POWERBALL was hung to dry last week, now lands the rail, should be another live one in here.

Race 2: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(4) MIKI THE CLOWN has been rock-solid in three starts after moving to the DiDomenico barn and she closed sharply from too far back in debut at this claiming level; mare will be a better price than the Bongiorno-trained (2) STAY HAPPY, who rolled home in front of the top one last week and stays at the winning level. (5) REAL LADY SADIE is back with Laterza off another reclaim; has a win and a narrow defeat in last two starts with this outfit.

Race 3: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) NUTTINBUTTHEBEST was favored last week versus better but that didn't work out; she's back down to the $20K level where she dominated two back, her first for these connections. (2) DEVILISH DREAMS looks to go back-to-back for the streaking Bongiorno barn; Kakaley drives again. (1) ITTY BITTY is one I just can't let go of despite letting me down numerous times; from the rail she can save ground and land a share.
Race 4: 2-5YO NW 2-4 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(6) SWEETHOMEALABAMA N was a non-factor in his U.S. debut but still paced home in :27 3/5; Kakaley picks up the drive and maybe he's ready for a more aggressive effort. (3) CUPID SHUFFLE tired despite rating on the front end in his local debut for Burke; maybe he's better tonight but note he is just 1 for 16 on the season. (2) LEGAL ATTACK was a close second from a similar spot two back and now with Lachance catch-driving the Engblom trainee we may see a better price.
Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
I liked (2) JENDEN STRIKE A last week upon arrival from Plainridge for the Cushing barn but she was outfinished late after a decent effort; from another good post I'll give her another try. (4) IDEALINFUN moves from the eight hole back to the middle of the gate and can utilize her customary early speed to land on the top or in the pocket; big chance. (1) TWIST LITTLE GIRL N beat optional $60K claimers in her first race off the Quevedo claim then regressed a bit in her last two; she drops back down a notch and draws the rail to boot; have to give her a serious look.
Race 6: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(8) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL is a consistent performer every time she sets foot on the track including a win in her last start; she's got early speed with a driver who likes to use it and she'll be a big price from post eight. Not a ton of early speed in here with the exception of #5 so maybe Holland can get her near the front. (5) FRONDEUR is the clear one to beat here despite losing her regular driver. Scotty Z is in the bike tonight. (2) HARPER SEELSTER hits the board with regularity but can't get over the top. Another in here with a new driver and maybe that helps.
Race 7: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) THEBEAUDENBLUES N missed a month after a sick scratch but returns off a sharp qualifier up at Monti and he showed some potential in prior starts. Steve Smith gets the catch drive and he's been having a good year in the bike at Yonkers. (2) MIDNIGHT THUNDER returns from a stint at The Big M and just missed in his last local try. (4) SCRIBBLERS railed for a share last week at 99/1 from the eight hole and he drops in class again with an improved post; overdue for a win.
Race 8: 2-5YO NW 2-4 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(5) HEY JUDE HANOVER is just 1 for 22 lifetime but he meets a field that's been equally camera-shy of late; these connections have been respectable locally with their mostly Canadian stock and always offer value. (3) HARD TO CATCH basically toured the track in his first start for a new barn but he finished fine and now gets significant post relief. (7) AYR BALMORAL GB is usually in the hunt but hasn't had the greatest success when drawn outside; Gingras drives the Burke trainee again and maybe he tries a more aggressive approach.

Race 9: 3-5YO Open Pace
(3) HUMBLE A has been seriously impressive winning five straight after arriving from Down Under; he loses his regular driver but it might not matter. (6) ADAM TWELVE also picks up a new driver and he's been on a major roll of late; I'll excuse his one subpar effort at this level from three back. (7) VERDUN had been unstoppable up until getting beat at 40 cents on the dollar and subsequently coming up sick. Now the Lachance student has missed a bit of time and to make matters worse he ends up with the outermost post. Hard to endorse for the top two spots but maybe he has late life to pick off a few.
Race 10: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SPRING BLAKE has been a non-factor in all recent but note the barn change to Burke and the driver switch to Yannick. Maybe he's a new horse...who knows? That's why we call it gambling. (2) LEVINE drops a notch and moves all the way in from the eight hole for Zeron and Scran. Note he's 0 for 21 and counting this year, however, but he does fit with these. (1) MULLINAX makes just his fifth start of the year but last week he was timed in 1:49 2/5 at Pocono and could be sitting on a big effort.
Race 11: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(4) SHEIKH YABOOTY N has come up empty in three starts after being reclaimed by the Ruiz barn but she has won for these connections in the past; speed is her best asset and it appears she can make the lead from this spot. (6) ELISES DELIGHT moves to the Daguet barn off last week's claim and she always takes tons of money. Will offer a better price than last start, however. (7) PROVE EM WRONG beat similar at odds-on last start and is another who is more than capable but will see a much better price due to the post.
