Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 11/24

MEET STATS: 206 - 623 / $1,067.70 (-$178.30)
BEST BETS: 35 - 60 / $113.30 (-$6.70)
Best Bet: ODDS ON VERO BEACH (5th)
Spot Play: SANDY WIN (3rd)
Race 1: F&M NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(4) AMERICAN CHANCE rallied mildly in her last two at big prices and now she faces a very soft field of camera-shy types; filly looks as good as any in here. (3) FRILLS N LACE gave way badly on the front end in her local return; Siegelman drives again from a better post and she could be a little tighter here. (1) P L NELLY moves all the way inside in her second start for new connections and she figures to be much more involved.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) DIRTY SECRET was second best three and four back facing better than these and the veteran mare should find a way to get the job done here. (1) SHADY MCCOY moves inside to the rail slot after an even effort last week looking to finally break through into the win column this year (0 for 26). (2) CASA PALMERA burned money with that break two back but obviously she'll be a big factor if she minds her manners.

Race 3: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) SANDY WIN gets much-needed class relief tonight and a better post as well; I suspect the Tirella trainee will be very live and aggressively handled. (8) SUDDEN CHANGE N got parked the mile last week from the outside post but she drops in class again and needs to be included, despite post eight. (1) LOVERS COVE was a winner two back; Zeron drives tonight.
Race 4: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) LIVINGINTHEDREAM took some money last week in her local return but failed to fire; Brennan gets the catch-drive tonight from a better post and she figures to be more involved. (1) J ROCKIN B hasn't done a whole lot recently both here and across the river with just $500 earned in her last 5 starts but she has Holland driving for Erv Miller from the best post, usually a live angle. (2) KAY’S DELIGHT just missed at The Big M two back and she had no chance in her last two local appearances.
Race 5: F&M NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(5) ODDS ON VERO BEACH qualified effectively over at The Meadowlands where she was a distant second to Warrawee Ubeaut; Alagna trainee flashed some ability in stakes action up in Canada and she looks like a good fit here. (1) MAJOR NIGHT OUT has been unable to seal the deal in her last two but she still remains a solid threat with her early speed. (3) COURTING MARIE failed at odds-on for Lachance upon arrival; she's worthy of another chance.
Race 6: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) MILLWOOD BONNIE N shifts from the "NW lifetime" class to this NW7500 event and she hasn't been all that bad in recent efforts; mare gets the call based on connections (Hudson/Stratton). (2) GINA GRACE N hasn't tasted victory in quite a while but the Stalbaum trainee should be competitive with this type; MacDonald gets the catch-drive again. (8) COLOR ENVY was razor-sharp in her last two but obviously the eight hole presents major problems.

Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot
(6) LIFETIME ROYALTY went a tough trip upon arrival and can be excused for tiring; Stafford trainee appears worthy of another chance. (5) MUSCLE AVE powered by lesser, seems to be ready to handle better. (8) SUMATRA would almost definitely be the top choice here if not for the awful post.
Race 8: F&M NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(3) DEMETER N took control early, rated and won rather easily last week; she faces some legit talent here but does deserve the top billing. (6) ANNE BONNEY N couldn't handle a two-move effort last out and things may not get easier tonight with speed signed on inside of her but she should offer a good price. (1) LEMON ZEST can save ground to land a share for Lachance.
Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Trot
(4) LIMERENCE finds a spot where he may be able to use his early speed to his advantage to set up a winning trip. (2) LUCKY WEEKEND hasn't proven very reliable lately with those early breaks in stride recently but he does face a bit easier here. (5) KINDA LUCKY LINDY was in over his head last week but raced well in prior starts.
Race 10: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) D GS ELSA has tried it from off the pace in her last two with just moderate success; Jenn Bongiorno trainee has some speed inside of her but could have better results here if put in play earlier. (1) BYE BYE MICHELLE was good enough lately to make it to the top levels but now she’s dropping back down the class ladder and the 10-year-old veteran should be a big player tonight. (3) CRYSTAL SPARKLES N hasn't been able to break through into the win column in quite a while but the Lance Hudson trainee seems well-spotted here to land a nice share.
