2023 MEET STATS: 459 - 1293 / $2,374.10 (-$211.90) BEST BETS: 67 - 122 / $218.90 (-$25.10) BEST BET: SPEED MAN N (4th) SPOT PLAY: CLEVELAND B MIKI (6th) Race 1: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (4) ICARUS FALLS N had been racing well for prior connections before getting claimed last week by the Camilleri barn. Former $10K claimer is close to career form and may get even better for this barn. (6) SWEET SANDY LOU is a consistent player every week and the outside post ensures a good price. (3) TERACITA successfully dropped and popped last out and stays at a winning level. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: 3-5YO NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace (3) BLUE HUNT went a big effort last out when first-time Lasix and though he faces a couple of tough ones in here the 3YO gets the call to repeat. (2) ADAM TWELVE was nipped by the top one in his local debut then won safely last week at 5 cents on the dollar. Clearly the main threat and likely to be involved in a chalky exacta. (4) SANTANA HANOVER raced pretty well in two starts since arriving from Canada for Bongiorno but unfortunately he lands outside of the top two; use to complete tri and super. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW20781 in last 5 starts Pace (1) DEETZY gets needed class relief and lands the rail. Gingras gets the drive tonight looking to go down the road. (5) CAUGHTINALANDSLIDE has been outracing his odds in a big way recently and will probably offer value again stepping up in class. (3) SPLASH BROTHER has speed to land on or near the lead which always makes him worthy of consideration. Race 4: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (7) SPEED MAN N rallied well from off the pace when he dropped last week and drew better. Classy import now finds himself at the NW10000 level and despite the outside post I think he's impossible not to have on top. Looking for Yannick to fire off the gate. (3) KASHED UP A also drops in class and will be much more involved here than he has been recently. (5) JIMMY CONNOR B has hit the board in his last two at this level. Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace I'm surprised to see (1) LUCKY ARTIST A in for a tag considering she was a Matchmaker finalist earlier this year and though she's been no good recently she keeps going out there every week to race. She's supposed to beat these on class alone. (3) LINE EM UP gets Joe B back in the bike for sister and she's finished close up in most recent starts. (5) BETTER DOUBLE FLIP is the only one in here who's had a recent win at this level. Race 6: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace (5) CLEVELAND B MIKI has been in very good shape in all recent starts for Lachance and she got close to the 1/9 winner last week. Good tactical speed can get her a winning trip. (1) UNDER YOUR SCARS has been right there in last few and rail start helps. (2) CENTURY INSPECTOR seems to underperform when he's in a spot to do better; using underneath. Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) SHINE A LIGHT drops back down to a level where the Engblom trainee is much more competitive and Gingras can work out a trip from the rail. (4) BRAEVIEW BONDI A put in a solid effort in his local return and is certainly capable with these; I can see Brennan getting aggressive early. (2) DOWNRIGHTDELICIOUS missed a nose in 1:49 3/5 last start at The Meadowlands; lightly-raced 3YO has clear ability. Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (4) PURE SILKY drops in for a tag tonight and should be a good fit considering she's been in with tougher most of the year. Not sure who will drive (with Marohn injured) but still gets my attention. (3) BELLADONNA GIRL A missed a nose two back at a price with Siegelman driving; she can have the top quickly from this spot. (6) TRAFALGAR had been sailing right along until she came crashing down last week at 2/5, and was claimed out of that race. Should be solid value tonight, considering she paid $2.10 two back. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) WICHITA LINEMAN takes a decent-sized drop in class tonight looking to add to that solid record this year, with 9 wins and $125K earned. Brennan picks up the drive tonight from a reasonable post and starts at a generous 5/1 on the line. (1) ORLANDO BLUE A charged home in his local return to upset and now he moves to the rail hoping to have more to offer. Who's driving is still up in the air. (6) FROZEN HANOVER had no chance from the eight hole last week; moves in a couple of spots and the Lachance trainee was close in his prior two. Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (4) FEELIN RED HOT returns from a freshening now in the Megan Scran barn and there's no mystery to her game. I just don't like anyone else in here. Maybe (3) BETTORSHIGHLIGHT or (2) LADYBELUCKYTONITE can trip out in behind the speed.
