Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(3) RECORD MACHINE has shown nothing in five starts after being claimed for $20K by DiDomenico but he drops to the basement, meets a very shaky field and could turn things around in a hurry. (1) ROCKABILLY CHARM returns locally from Freehold, where he was uninvolved until the late stages, and he picks up Bartlett from the innermost post. (8) BUGGER BRUISER blasted to the front last start from the outside post facing better and battled before tiring; Jordan drives tonight for his brother Cory and we'll see how aggressive he is.

Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(3) RHODENA ROAD was a sharp winner in his local debut and the Mike Forte trainee pretty much gets a free ride from a similar spot; he'll be favored looking to repeat. (7) BEEBEETEE hit the board in his last two but those were from cozy inside posts; we'll see how he handles the adversity of starting from the seven hole. (1) WHAT ABOUT BOB has zero current form but he does get major post relief.

Race 3: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(2) WINDSONG JACK was never close in his local return as he toured the track from the eight hole for his new barn; gelding has loads of back class to call upon as he looks to turn things around. (4) FAST ON THE DRAW was an easy winner last out; logical. (3) EGOMANIA is the only horse from the Bako barn that just hasn't functioned at all; he plunges to the basement after being a $30K claim a couple of months back.
Race 4: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(3) CONTROL ME ONCE is another Mohawk regular who is shipping down to join the Stafford barn and others that fit this mold have had some success; he should have a tactical edge on the other shipper in here (8) VEL MR NICE GUY, who powered off to take his last two at Dayton and now goes out for DiDomenico. (5) BRAZEN BRAZILIAN is 0 for 30 this year but has been a solid earner as he hits the board with regularity.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) DA DELIGHTFUL was a solid two-move winner in his local return and he should certainly be good enough to handle a bit better. (1) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP returns from Canada off an odds-on win in a lower-level class at Mohawk and the Gillis trainee already has a couple of local wins on the season. (2) KIMANI N debuts for DiDomenico off the claim, draws well again and should be a part of this.
Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(4) FEELIN RED HOT drops in for the $50K tag tonight and the Burke trainee seems to outclass these by a large margin; Brennan will be sending her down the road. (3) LUCKY ARTIST A also shifts to this class after having some moderate success at the high-conditioned levels; she can save ground from this spot and shake free with late pace. (7) MAGICAL MISTRESS was sent to the front by Brennan last out and held sway gamely; she gets a new pilot in Bongiorno looking to improve position off the gate.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(7) SAVE ME A DANCE has shown the tactical speed in the past to overcome outside posts, which Brennan will have to generate to get the best of these; if the 4-year-old can be on or near the lead he'll be trouble. (4) GENIUS MAN just missed in his last two for a barn that's going well now. (5) MAJOR BETTS clearly deserves respect coming from these connections.
Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
It's hard to get excited about anyone in here, but maybe (1) BEST HONEY HANOVER can sit a nice stalking trip just off probable leader (5) TALL POPPY N and emerge clear with the most late pace. The latter was a good second at this level last out and overall looks to be the one in the best form. (2) ASHTINI shouldn't be too far back and can land a share.
Race 9: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(2) UCANTTOUCHTHIS arrived on the scene from Canada a couple of months back and quickly breezed through NW2 before shifting to the Jenn Bongiorno barn; he’s raced well in two starts at this level but just came up a touch short. Maybe tonight's the night. (1) CAPTIVATE HANOVER hasn't shown much early speed so it’s hard to predict tonight’s trip but he's been right there at the wire in all recent. (4) CANTSTOPLYING is another Canadian shipper for Paul Stafford. This one recently paced in 1:49 1/5.
Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) CAVIART LUCA hasn't been at his sharpest recently but the classy oldtimer can never be counted out. If Brennan can leave the gate some and work out a live trip he still seems capable. (5) SHANWAY N looks like another talented import for the Dilloian barn; he sat a nice trip and missed a neck in 1:51 3/5 in his local debut but may have to work a bit harder tonight. (1) FLYING FINN N was snagged for $75K last start by Jenn Bongiorno and the gelding lands in a live spot.

Race 11: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace
(2) CODY HANOVER has predictably raced very well since joining Team Bongiorno but is still seeking that elusive win; 4-year-old is back with age-conditioned rivals. (1) GAMBLINGTERROR lands a cozy inside post and should set up with a nice trip. (8) SIMON SAYS HANOVER has been chasing the top dogs recently with little success. Hard to predict how he'll be used here starting from post eight.
Race 12: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) RUNRUNJIMMYDUNN N was all out to prevail last week in NW5000 but that was a classy rival on his back; he steps up a notch off that win and is in a spot to be the controlling speed again. (2) GLOBALDOMINATION N rallied for third from the eight hole last out; Pete Tritton trainee is an obvious player here. (3) ORILLIA JOE may try leaving to set up a pocket trip but if not he shouldn't be sitting worse than third.
