Race 1 - 12500CLM Pace

(8) TEXAS TERROR N drew poorly again tonight but was a good second from the seven-hole on 11-5 and has a potent driver/trainer combo in Matt Kakaley and Jared Bako. (6) FAST ON THE DRAW has won two straight and four of his last six. (4) NIHILATED TRUTH was third in the same race my top pick exits, and he has a knack for rallying his way onto the ticket.

Race 2 - NW4/50000LT Pace

(2) NORTHERN NETWORK beat NW2's two back and then finished his mile in 27 and change last Tuesday from post eight at this level. He has significant relief in the draw tonight. (3) RHODENA ROAD dominated NW2's twice after coming down from Canada and has three wins in just seven lifetime starts. (1) HEARTLANDBANYSBRO invades from The Meadows in sharp form and is the only 5-year-old in this field.

Race 3 - NW2/25000LT Pace

(5) BALI BEACH is a newcomer into Cory Stratton's barn. He threw in a clunker last time out at Harrah's Philadelphia, but he was racing well prior to that and did win against NW2's at Pocono on 9-21. (1) FREDDIE FAVES hasn't won since coming in from Iowa but does have three straight second-place finishes, including once at Yonkers to Rhodena Road. (4) ROSE RUN WOODROW has racked up four wins in his last five starts at Monticello and has a quick mark down at Harrah's Philadelphia as well.

Race 4 - NW5/50000LT Pace

(1) PERFECTBOY HANOVER gets to slide in from post seven to the pole position in his second start down from Canada and was Jordan Stratton's choice. (7) VEL MR NICE GUY moves back outside on the gate tonight but won handily over NW4's last Tuesday and has shown the ability to both leave and race from off-the-pace. (3) VELOCITY GATOR was another Izzy Estrada first-timer to win lately a week ago and got the nod from Jason Bartlett over another one in here.

Race 5 - 12500CLM Pace

(4) MILITARY MASTER A enters the Bako barn off the claim and gets Kakaley to go with it. (6) BLUEBERRY HEAVEN has hit the board in four straight and has back-to-back victories. Bartlett hopped off, but that handed the drive to Stratton. (2) RAPTORS FLIGHT N returns after a layoff tonight. He qualified nicely on 11-5 and kept Bartlett.

Race 6 - NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace

(6) YANKEE OSBORNE hasn't been seen since back on 10-8 after a couple of scratches. He won that night in impressive fashion in his debut for trainer Scott Di Domenico, and I'll trust that he has him ready. (1) ONE OFF DELIGHT A drops and moves inside on the starting gate in his third start back after a layoff. (3) DON DOMINGO N takes a third shot at NW10000L5's tonight and adds Stratton in the bike.

Race 7 - NW15000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(3) BRAEVIEW BONDI A drops again in his third try since coming in from the Midwest, and I will give him a chance. (2) CODY HANOVER hasn't missed the board since shipping in from Ohio into the Jenn Bongiorno barn. He defeated NW8's on 11-2, giving him a boost of confidence. (4) PAT STANLEY N topped NW30000L5's as recently as mid-September, so this is pretty low on the class ladder for him.

Race 8 - NW8/100000LT Pace

(4) IMAGINARY LINE just missed in a good effort to a quality foe last Tuesday and looks like the one to beat tonight. (7) DEAN B HANOVER also put in a big mile in that same race my top pick comes out of, finishing third from first-over. This horse has always shown some potential, and maybe he's starting to figure it out. (2) GAMBLINGTERROR beat NW8's back in late September and is usually well-spotted thanks to his early speed.

Race 9 - NW20000L5/NW10 PM Races LT Pace

(3) BALLERAT BOOMERANG ended his winless status for 2021 on 11-8 after being claimed by Jenn Bongiorno on October 25. Let's hope that put the light bulb on for him and that he can double up. (4) PATRIKTHEPIRANHA A is sure to get lots of attention as he raced well last Tuesday in his first start after a layoff. I can't knock him, but he hasn't shown a lot of early foot since coming from Down Under, and I'll bank on my top pick getting the jump on him. (2) TIN ROOF RAIDER A shows two straight sub-28 second final quarters, and I think he's usable.

Race 10 - F&M 50000CLM Pace

(6) CHUPPAH ON faced a deep group of pacing mares last time out at the Meadowlands and didn't make an impact. Prior to that she was a rallying second, though, and I will give her a shot at what should be a price. (2) ROCKN PHILLY returns to Yonkers tonight off three straight victories down at Harrah's Philadelphia, and she'll likely be on or near the lead again. (1) SHECANDANCE N took advantage of a rail draw a week ago to finish third in an improved effort, and she has post one again tonight.

Race 11 - NW6/75000LT Pace

(3) CAPTAIN ROMANCE meets mainly 3-year-olds tonight after facing a salty group of older foes last time at Harrah's Philadelphia, and he gets Tyler Buter back. Buter guided him to two wins at Pocono in October. (4) BAYFIELD BEACH gets a mid-pack post tonight after having the eight-hole in his last pair, and he made the Little Brown Jug final on the half-mile oval earlier this year. (1) CANTSTOPLYING won in stylish fashion a couple weeks ago in his first start for trainer Paul Stafford after coming down from Canada and has the pole position tonight, too.

Race 12 - F&M 50000CLM Pace

(2) COWGIRL LILLY owns two wins and a second in her last three starts and also gets an inside post. (4) TALL POPPY N appears to be the other logical contender in here as she has missed the board just once in her last seven tries and was Dan Dube's choice. (3) POPPY DRAYTON N never got involved from an outside draw a week ago, but she moves in to the three-hole here.
