Race 1: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(2) TOBAGO TIME won two in a row off the Dilloian claim then took a shot up in class and got stuck in the eight hole. Back with Bartlett at the appropriate level she should be able to handle these. (3) BIG BIG PLANS hasn't been a major threat recently and sits at just 2 for 45 over the last two seasons but the Burke trainee gets some post relief here and also has Gingras in the bike. She should be laying much closer to the pace here. (4) SALE EL SOL was the 2/1 favorite from a similar spot two back and finished fourth; she'll be a better price tonight.

Race 2: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) DEETZY is the textbook definition of a classy horse with over $850K in the bank and 62 wins. Veteran in is for a tag tonight to stay at this level while looking for his third straight. He can do it from on or off the pace. (2) TASTE OF HONEY also goes for three straight and the Burke student will likely be on the front end again. (5) SOUTHWIND PETYR has been very good over the last couple of months though he hasn't been able to break into the win column. He's up in class again but remains a closing threat.
Race 3: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(3) UNRIVALED HANOVER dug in two back for the win and went a tough trip last week but didn't tire badly. He gets significant post relief here and may offer some value as the second or third choice. (1) ICACO HANOVER has also been hard to fault over his last three races and won from a similar spot last start. (8) HUMBLE A has been flawless through three U.S. starts but he's been MIA for almost a month and has to start out of the eight hole. I guess we'll see how good he really is tonight.
Race 4: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) ELISES DELIGHT has been loaded with pace in her two starts off the Laterza claim, and as mentioned previously this barn has been clicking at a much higher percentage than usual all season long. Chance for a bit of value here as #4 figures to take a ton of money again. (4) FRONDEUR goes for five straight and has been heavily favored in all. Looks like a clear chalk again. (2) ITTY BITTY moves back inside and maybe can pick up a piece. 10-year-old has seen better days.
Race 5: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) JUSTASEC N almost made me look like a genius last week as he was a solid second at 31/1 off the barn change. Tonight he's probably 3/5 lol. (3) OSTRO HANOVER picks up a driver change to Bartlett and though he's done nothing of late this just feels like a better spot to pick up a nice piece. (2) HEISMAN PLAYER has shown life in his last couple and I don't think it would be a major surprise if he took this.
Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
Taking a stab here with (6) STAY HAPPY, as she's proven she can compete at this level and will be a big price. If A. Nap can get her off the gate in good order maybe she can trip out over the inside three, who will be taking all the money but don't necessarily win often enough. (1) FREESTARFLIGHT lands the best post and the Stratton trainee is a deserving favorite, but note she lost to the top choice two back at odds-on. (2) YS SENSATIONALCITY makes her third return start after arriving from Quebec still looking for a win and she'll be right up with the pace again.

Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) FOR ONCE INMY LIFE arrived from the Midwest last month and joined the Stratton barn; since then he's been razor sharp, including last week's brush and crush in 1:50 3/5. Step up in class won't matter if he brings a repeat effort. (1) EUPHORIA N drops back to the level of his last win and Bartlett was driving that night as well. (3) SEMI TOUGH has burned a ton of money lately and he'll be one of the favorites again; Yannick gets the call on the Burke veteran.
Race 8: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) BACKSTREET SHADOW woke up with a winning effort in his Yonkers return and is clearly the one to beat again. Having a major post edge on #7 in here helps immensely. (7) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR beat a field of age-restricted Open foes in his local return. This is actually a drop in class over the rest of these. (2) BRUE HANOVER draws much better, can hang around for a share.
Race 9: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 lifetime Pace
(3) AYR BALMORAL GB has raced well in practically every local start this season but it's been a while since the Burke trainee has found the winner's circle. Feels like he's just a live trip away from getting it done. Gingras drives tonight. (6) D A MCDREAMY hasn't been lucky with the post draws but he's hit the board in three of four and gets a new set of hands tonight in Kakaley. Live longshot? (2) VANDIEMEN BLUECHIP has had some moderate stakes success in his career and despite stopping in that 1:49 2/5 mile last start at The Meadowlands all his prior efforts were solid. I have mixed feelings, however.
