2025 MEET STATS: 328 - 1079 / $1,801.48 (-$356.52) BEST BETS: 55 - 105 / $177.42 (-$32.58) BEST BET: PINNY TIGER A (7th) SPOT PLAY: STORMY SERENA (4th) Race 1: 2-5YO NW2 races or $33,511 lifetime Pace (1) ONEFORTHEROAD GB is the latest import for the Tritton barn, this one from Great Britain, and he starts his local career on the strength of a 1:51 3/5 winning qualifier at The Meadowlands. Not sure what makes him eligible here (I guess those wins weren't pari-mutuel) but I'm sure the connections will take it. (8) LASER SPEED has been very sharp in his last two and though he faces good ones well inside of him he's going to be a big price and I'll try to sneak him in there. (2) QUOTE ME NOT N won from a similar spot last week; Engblom/Bartlett entrant is extremely logical. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW5241 in last 5 starts Pace (5) ITZA DANGERZONE A gets an interesting driver change to Gingras on this disappointing Tritton import after being overtaken on the front end it when ended up being a 1:52 1/5 mile. It was a step in the right direction, however. (4) BLANK STARE finished willingly when Bartlett drover last week and now he drops to the basement. Absolutely the one to beat, but no value. (1) ROCKNROLL GOLD also drops, has speed and the rail draw. Race 3: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (3) SADDLE UP moves to the conditioned classes after a long run in claimers and the improved post should get this veteran more involved. Note he's a 14 time winner already this year. (6) PINE BUSH ITALIANO keeps Bartlett off a decent second-place effort coming off an injured scratch; capable with a favorable trip. (1) PEACE OUT POSSE drops and lands his best post in ages. Not much current form to speak of, however. Race 4: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace (7) STORMY SERENA has the speed to overcome the outside post as she meets a rather flat field of mid-level claimers, and she figures to offer the best price of the main contenders. (2) FORTUNADA had no chance last start but two back she was a winner from a very similar spot. (1) HANGON COWGIRL moves into claimers for the leading driver/trainer but doesn't have a ton of form and is just 1 for 26 on the season; using underneath. Race 5: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace (5) MATAI PHIL N put in by far his best effort in some time in defeat last week when Holland picked up the drive. A touch more improvement and he can pull off the upset. (2) JOEL AND THE JETS hit town and won safely over #5 at 22 cents on the dollar. He'll be heavily favored again to repeat. (4) KWICK SAND A has a solid second and a solid win over his last two and the Stratton trainee is one of the other main players in here. Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace (6) CHIAPANECAS has had a solid 4YO season going 20 for 28 in the money with seven wins and $130K earned. Mare is proven at this level having won last week and now co-owner Gingras gets in the bike. (2) KATIES UP drops into claimers for Engblom and also switches back to Bartlett, who won with her the last time he drove. (4) AMBUSHED was right there in her last two but does move out to the middle of the pack tonight after two inside posts. Race 7: NW8001 in last 5 starts Pace (1) PINNY TIGER A had plenty of pace in his North American debut and he figures to take no prisoners tonight at 1/5 or even 1/9 odds. (3) HUNGER STRIKE drops from $40K claimers and the Alexander trainee lands his first good post in ages. (5) CUPID SHUFFLE has the looks of an underperforming Burke trainee which isn't all that common but he was third last week and can land another piece. Race 8: NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace (1) VANDIEMEN BLUECHIP hit town last week and wired the field pretty easily; Capone trainee may have another level or two in him. (3) HEMSWORTH N has loads of class and is overdue for a win; looks like the main threat. (6) ALWAYS B ELITE N stalled a bit last start looking to remain perfect in his brief U.S. career but after being heavily favored in those three races he figures to offer a price tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: NW23521 in last 5 starts Pace (1) NANDOLO N is back rolling again and drawing the rail makes him the choice again as he steps up going for four straight. (3) MAC'S MARVEL was an interesting claim last week for $60K by the Lachance barn and this outfit is pretty sharp with these types. Gelding deserves a long look. (2) SILKY CHOICE has been right there in his last four with two of them wins; faces better but draws well. Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace (4) BIG CITY DAISY had been facing what looks like tougher foes than she meets here in a $20K claimer with most of these pretty camera shy of late. Dilloian Jr. trainee gets Bartlett back in the bike looking to move forward. (6) I LOVED HER FIRST is one of the few in here with good current form as she goes for two straight but I don't see her making the front in :29 3/5 this week. (2) DEFININGTHE MONENT started off well for these connections after the claim but has really tailed off of late; good post does give her a shot at a nice piece.
