Spot Play: MACH TIME N (10th)
Race 1: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace
(2) MASK ON MASK OFF came back from an extended break and proved a solid winner at Philly in just his third lifetime start; pacer could certainly have more to offer. (1) IMOUTTHEDOOR jogged in his second local start and the latest of the Iowa fair circuit shippers will be favored to repeat. (5) HIGH ST CORRIDOR paced a decent last half at a big price last time out.

Race 2: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) MCERLEAN has raced well in his last couple and was a winner here when last at this level; oldtimer seems more than capable in this spot. (2) SKIP TO MY LOU has been a major disappointment since moving to the Burke barn and he'll be taking plenty of money here; use caution. (3) ASTON HILL DAVE has just been pacing evenly of late but he does have some back class.

Race 3: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace
(2) ARTS ATTITUDE raced pretty well in most of his recent efforts at Philly and that NW3 class probably translates comparably with these; Dube has options from this good inside post. (4) SETH HANOVER had too far to come last start but was a winner the start prior; assuming the Burke trainee is good to go after being on the sidelines for almost a month he will be a big player here. (1) BRAZEN BRAZILIAN was 0 for 35 last year, but hits the ticket a lot.
Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(8) OUR MAX PHACTOR N was a good second in his 2021 finale facing a bit better and assuming he fires out like he did in that start he can be trouble here. (3) ABERDEEN HANOVER has never been a prolific winner but he can usually be counted on for a share when facing this type. (2) ST LADS NEPTUNE has been facing better in most recent and he draws best of the main contenders.
Race 5: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace
(6) ULTAMAROCA prevailed at five cents on the dollar when debuting at this NW6 level and made it two straight after shipping in for Burke; he's got the speed to get to the top and will offer much more value tonight. (5) SEE YA WRITE N understandably took plenty of money in his U.S. debut but went a tough trip and never made an impact in that start at Philly; import is worth a long look here. (3) FEELIN WESTERN is fresh stock for the Cory Stratton barn and the now-4-year-old had a decent season last year in Ohio for Brian Brown.
Race 6: NW5100 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) MARCO BEACH looked pretty weak in a local stint a few months back but he picked up his game considerably in his last couple of starts at Pocono; Bongiorno gets the catch drive here for proven connections. (1) FOUR STAR FLASH was aggressively handled in two starts here back in December; he draws best with Bartlett driving. (2) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A has shown little since the $20K claim by Fiumenaro but he faces much softer tonight.
Race 7: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace
(3) CRUNCH HANOVER freshened up for Toscano with a qualifier on the 31st and that recency edge may be what he needs to get it done. (2) RED RIGHT HAND is two for two since shipping in for Takter and he'll most likely be favored again. (5) L DEES JACK LOPEZ has been solid in his last three for Pete Tritton without a win to show for it.
Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
When in doubt, look inside I guess…(1) BALFAST N seems to be a decent fit at this level with a few second-place finishes sprinkled in; she can get it done with a live trip. (4) APRIL AVA drops in for a tag for Burke and seems the one to beat, but she had a couple of shaky outings here back a couple of months ago. (3) MILLWOOD BONNIE N will be shooting for her fifth consecutive bronze medal for the Lance Hudson barn.
Race 9: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) PRETTY HANDSOME finally put it together in his last start, going down the road in 1:52 2/5. He faces a bit better here but could be up to the task. (2) BRACKLEY BEACH returns locally for Bongiorno off a successful two-race stint at Philly. (1) UNCLE JORD A didn't have the easiest of trips in his U.S. debut but he certainly deserves a look from the rail.

Race 10: $12,500 Claiming Pace
(5) MACH TIME N gets an interesting barn change to Dilloian, who had this import when he first hit town a few years ago. Expect this veteran to wake up sooner rather than later. (6) FASHIONONTHEBEACH got lost at the back of the pack in his last race and he’s always tough to gauge but the Dowse trainee is clearly capable. (1) ARI ALLSTAR raced okay in his last couple and he lands inside.
Race 11: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) BARBADOS raced well last out at The Meadowlands and has performed well at Yonkers with tons better; plunge in class makes him hard to go past. (2) PEPPER GUY is capable with the right setup. (4) BEACH BOOGIE shows a win here on October beating $75K claimers; he returns in a new barn looking to recapture his form.
