Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) FIZZING N has been facing tougher in all recent while being a bit overmatched. He drops to the basement conditioned level tonight and note the last time he was in this class he was a strong uncovered winner. (4) KAUAI KING was in a tough spot last week but did finish with willing pace. Bartlett drives again from an improved post and the gelding figures to be much more involved. (1) ROCKIN JUKEBOX gets major post relief and picks up the services of Brent Holland, who has been hot for an extended period of time. Barn is just 1 for 67 on the season so it's tough to endorse him on top as the morning-line favorite.

Race 2: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) ALWAYS AND AGAIN steps back up to this level off last week's solid front-end win and he lands in a controlling spot. Engblom trainee is the one to beat. (4) PYRO was a bit disappointing last week, as he failed to gain late from the pocket and had to settle for third. He is more than proven with this type, however. (2) FOREVER FAV toured the track from the eight hole in his return to the Laterza barn, but now he moves inside to post two and he'll be chasing the speed from much closer up.

Race 3: 2-4YO NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(1) ROCKYTOP OH OH arrives from the Midwest and does like to win as evidenced by his 7 for 12 lifetime record and he qualified well with the trainer in the bike. He faces some interesting rivals in here but does have a post advantage. (3) ODDS ON OVERDRAFT is another Indiana shipper for Dowse and this one doesn't look as imposing on paper but that may not matter. (2) BETTOR ROLL ON A makes his U.S. debut off two willing qualifiers at Pocono; obviously he deserves major consideration.

Race 4: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(1) SHEIKH YABOOTY N makes her debut at this claiming level and she's been in good form of late, including last week's effort where she had zero chance but rallied late for a fifth-place check. Landing the rail gives her a chance at a live stalking trip. (3) LAURIE LEE beat similar last week and is the most accomplished at this level. (2) ACEFORTYFOUR ALEX has really stepped up her game in her last three and missed a nose to #3 last start. She should pick up a nice share again.

Race 5: 3-5YO NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(5) SPORTS ADVISOR arrives from Canada to join the Travis Alexander barn and while he doesn't have that strong of a resume he was a winner recently at Flamboro in 1:53 3/5; worth a look in this competitive event. (3) EXOTIC SAND gets needed post relief and has had some solid efforts over this oval recently. (1) MAC'S MARVEL has been facing some decent stock in Pennsylvania and has a 1:51 3/5 mark set at Philly three back.

Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) MYSWEETBOYMAX faces a bit softer and gets Bartlett back in the bike. He needs an alert getaway for his best chance and if close enough he can roll by late. (2) PICARD A put it all back together last week with that blowout score. Veteran is clearly capable of repeating. (3) MOHAWK WARRIOR gets Holland back driving, moves inside and is a strong board candidate.

Race 7: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

This field has multiple options so I hate to land on the chalk but (1) LADY DELA RENTA A has put in two solid efforts since entering this class and the Cory Stratton trainee finds a controlling spot departing from the rail. (7) JOSSIE JAMES A was a sick scratch last week but she's right back in to go. She does have some speed to her inside but with a good enough getaway she should be in the picture. (5) MORNING HAS BROKEN drops from the $75K claiming level to this class looking for some improvement.

Race 8: NW21501 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) MAJOR FERNCO N has certainly made quite an impression since arriving from Down-Under with three wins and a narrow loss in four tries. Harris trainee looks like he'll fit well here. (3) LOU'S SWEETREVENGE gets needed class relief and draws well; should be a live player. (6) WESTERN JOE also faces softer than he's accustomed too; may need some help from this post but will be offering a good price.

Race 9: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) DARLING'S DRAGON usually flourishes at this NW5000 level when he can utilize his early speed. If he makes the front it could be all over. (2) LUC ROCKS also drops in class and draws better; Bongiorno trainee was a winner when last at the NW5000 level. (5) ROCKINMYSHOE offered nothing when arriving from Northfield, but that was a quick mile he was caught up in.
