Yonkers: Analysis for Tuesday 10/27/26
:quality(75))
2026 MEET STATS: 297 - 928 / $1,611.07 (-$244.93)
BEST BETS: 53 - 98 / $182.32 (-$13.68)
BEST BET: SWEET BEACH LIFE (9th)
SPOT PLAY: DRUNK DIAL (3rd)
Race 1: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) BET ON BIG JOE drops to the basement and appears to lay over this field as his main threats are stuck way outside; no excuses at short price. (7) WINSDUN RICKY was a powerful winner last time at this level but that was from an inside post; if Marohn can somehow get him off the wings then he’s got a shot on class alone. (3) JM’S FINALTREASURE has been completely non-functioning for Burke yet he drops him in again; strange that they haven’t tried something else with this veteran; 20/1 ML.

Race 2: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(6) HES A FEIN FELLOW draws poorly once again but stacks up well against these and like the first race if Marohn can improve position early with the DiDomenico trainee and avoid being parked or having too far to come he’s got an upset chance. (3) SWEET JOEL stopped last start but assuming that was just an aberration he should be the one to catch as likely chalk. (7) THE RASCAL N hails from top connections and would be a slam dunk here if not for the tough post.
Race 3: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) DRUNK DIAL drops in for a tag after graduating from the ‘NW lifetime’ ranks and the way the Bongiorno trainees have been going this 4YO deserves a long look. (6) SPIRIT OF PEARL A has no doubt been the queen of the $50K claimers but look at all those cozy posts she’s had…will have to earn it tonight. (5) NILA MAREE N picks up Bartlett tonight for the Engblom Empire.
Race 4: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) DANCIN SUZY makes her second start for these new connections after arriving from Northfield and the Engblom trainee switches to the leading driver; expecting a much more active effort tonight. (2) KISSIN JOE was ruined by the eight hole last out; back inside and back with Holland. (5) SWEET SANDY has been a consistent presence recently for these connections.
Race 5: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) MAC’S MARVEL was a good second last week and the Lachance trainee is way overdue for a win; class relief and reasonable post will make that possible, (2) YOROKOBI N is similar to the top one as he also rarely wins but is usually close; moves from $30K claimers to this conditioned class. (3) PRINTVILLE is an unappealing 1 for 30 in 2026 but he too hasn’t been bad and will be a player here.
Race 6: 2-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(3) JUST GIVENER makes his way to Yonkers after setting a 1:49 mark up at Plainridge in his first for new connections and looks well-classified here. (6) ARISTA N looks to go a perfect 3 for 3 since arriving from Down-Under for the Engblom Empire; note Braxten Boyd drives tonight as Bartlett is on the top choice. (2) ISCAH HANOVER has been very good in three of four Yonkers starts.
Race 7: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(6) DW’S DARLENE has a solid record here the last couple of seasons and is proven at this level for these connections; post and high ML might mean she’s overlooked but I’ll try her over a couple of shaky favorites. (4) TH RIZZO finally picked up a win last out when dropped down and was claimed. Big player if she maintains form for new connections (5) MILAGRO has picked up shall shares along the way after being claimed by Adamczyk, including after last week’s tough trip.
Race 8: NW16061 in last 5 starts Pace
Interesting matchup here with a proven veteran pacer versus two Australian imports who won their initial starts. (2) REDWOOD HANOVER was a major presence throughout the Borgata series and while he’s tailed off a bit since then the class relief combined with the good draw and return to Bartlett can get him straightened out in a hurry. (3) STRIKEM N gets Stratton to catch drive after cruising in his N.A. debut for the Bako barn. (4) MESSAGE BANK A also has a new driver with Holland getting the call and the connections have had plenty of success with these types over the years.

Race 9: 3-7YO Open Pace
Not counting the Grade 2 Aria (5) SWEET BEACH LIFE has won 10 in a row here. He’s back after a brief freshening and ends up with the best post situation he’s had in months. (6) CAPTAIN MOORE A has been almost as good as the top choice and this certified closer can grind forever. (8) STERLING CHOICE added Lasix for his last start and he beat this class from the pocket, but now he has to move all the way outside.
Race 10: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) SUITE UP BRO likes to hit the board as he’s finished top three in 18 of 22 this year but has just three wins. With the move all the way in to the rail this 4YO figures to land a perfect stalking trip. (7) JUMPINGJACKMAC N drops again for the fourth consecutive start and is inching closer and closed to a win. Needs an alert getaway. (5) ESCAPE TO AMERICA picks up the leading driver and he’s proven over the last couple of years to be a good fit at this level.
