Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(3) BUGGER BRUISER flashed good speed from the outside post but fizzled out in his first attempt off the Cory Stratton claim. He drops back to the $12,500 level, moves inside and brother Jordan drives tonight. (1) GRAND PRIORITY was better in his second start for Jenn Bongiorno. (4) ROCKABILLY CHARM picks up Bartlett in his local return, perhaps shows some improvement.

Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(1) VELOCITY GATOR has been racing reasonably well out in Ohio and now ships in for trainer Steve Carter while drawing inside; 3-year-old may offer the best price of the contenders. (4) RHODENA ROAD went down the road easily in his local debut. (5) MIDNIGHT REBEL arrives from Hoosier and joins Team Bongiorno; instant respect.

Race 3: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(1) LANAS DESIRE hasn't exactly been the model of consistency but he lands his first good post in ages and he is capable with this type when in the mood. (7) BRIGADOON has been facing a bit better in all recent at Freehold and seems like a good fit here; only problem is the post. (2) NOBLES FINESSE should be close to the front and can trip out.

Race 4: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(2) SAMSON BLUE CHIP faltered in his last couple but they were near-misses; he can get back on the winning track from this spot. (4) DA GHETTO WIZARD tired after setting the pace last out but his prior starts after moving to the Bongiorno barn were reasonably encouraging. (7) SETH HANOVER gets a massive upgrade to the Burke barn and picks up Brennan to drive after having a nice 3-year-old season on the PA fair circuit; I guess we'll find out soon how good he is.

Race 5: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(4) FEELIN RED HOT comes up tagged tonight and the Burke trainee seems to have a clear class edge on these. (2) MALNIFICENT has raced well in her last couple for Laterza and should be stalking the top choice from close up, perhaps in the pocket. (3) POPPY DRAYTON N is another classy mare who figures to be within striking distance.

Race 6: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

This race may come down to a battle between the two shippers who landed the inside posts. (1) CONTROL ME ONCE arrives from Woodbine/Mohawk and has four wins already in 10 lifetime starts; Stafford barn has had success in the past with these types. (2) VEL MR NICE GUY arrives from Ohio to join the DiDomenico barn, and he's looking for three straight. (4) JIM BLUE has been good recently for Hudson and may prove best of the locals.

Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) SHANAWAY N just missed last week in 1:51 3/5, his second overall U.S. start for Dolloian. He deserves following here despite being surrounded by some solid rivals. (3) HEAVEN'S GAIT gets much-needed post relief and figures to be a good price. (4) MAJOR BETTS finished very well last out and this Bongiorno trainee appears overdue, but won't offer much value.

Race 8: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(1) CANTSTOPLYING is another fresh Ontario shipper for Paul Stafford and he just missed last start in a sub-1:50 time. He appears capable of controlling these. (2) MUSTANG BEACH also arrives from Canada and actually beat the top choice a few back; new addition to the Shane Tritton barn could prove the main threat. (6) CAPTIVATE HANOVER would be better served with an inside post but he can rally for a share.

Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) NOCTURNAL BLUECHIP also arrives from Woodbine Mohawk Park for Gillis and he has a couple of local wins already this season. (1) AVATAR J hasn't really threatened in his last couple but he was good three back in his local return. (6) DA DELIGHTFUL steps up off a win and he's got some class to him.

Race 10: NW8 races or $100,000 lifetime Pace

(1) SIMON SAYS HANOVER hasn't had much success lately chasing the top three-year-olds in North America but he jogged here in a NW8 a couple of months back. (8) IMAGINARY LINE goes for five straight overall for Team Bongiorno but it appears he's got to blast from the gate and get a bit lucky. (4) LARRY LINCOLN N could only muster a third-place finish when bumped to this level but the Siegelman owned/trained/driven import has plenty of talent.

Race 11: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) REVELRY has really picked up his game in his last couple but considering he was claimed for $40,000 a couple of months ago you would think he would have been able to win in NW5000. Bartlett picks up the drive tonight. (1) ORILLIA JOE is a serious threat to take this field wire-to-wire. (6) ALEPPO HANOVER is 0 for 26 this season but his barnmates have been going well recently.

Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) OUR MAX PHACTOR N has been the victim of a series of poor posts in his last few; he drops in class again and finally lands inside. (3) SPORTS BETTOR has been a bit dull recently but he too gets some needed class relief. (1) FIZZING N missed a nose two back and won by a nose last week; Vallee trainee faces better but he's sharp and draws best.
