Race 1: $12,500 Claiming Pace

(2) ARI ALLSTAR now has five starts in after the DiDomenico claim and he[s shown nothing, however last week he left the gate and cut the mile. Step in the right direction? (4) IN ROCK WE TRUST broke last week but was a winner the start prior, now goes for Dowse off the claim. (1) UNION STATION ships in from Saratoga and joins the Devita barn while drawing best; interesting.

Race 2: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(5) FREDDIE FAVES shipped in from Iowa to join the DiDomenico outfit but was stuck in post eight in a race that went in 1:53 4/5. 3-year-old finds a better spot tonight. (3) RHODENA ROAD is a new arrival from Canada for Forte, and that barn has been showing some life. (2) ZOES LUCKY GUY hails from good connections and I'm thinking eventually we'll see more from him.

Race 3: NW2 races or $25,000 lifetime Pace

(7) NORTHERN NETWORK was very good in his local debut for Laterza but was held off by a sharp rival who came back to win; only problem here is the post. (2) FANTASY CRUISER has looked good upstate for Larry Stalbaum. (1) BEEBEETEE raced decently in his local debut and he draws the rail again; player.

Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) MAGRITTE has been dull for an extended period of time but he now makes his second start for new connections and lands an improved post; driver Luke Hanners has done very well here in limited opportunities. (5) IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N woke up last week when taking a big drop in class and he drops again tonight. (8) BETTING EXCHANGE has traditionally had trouble from outside posts but he is more than competent with this type.

Race 5: NW4 races or $50,000 lifetime Pace

(1) CHARLIES DRAGON has a few good efforts recently facing NW stock at The Meadows and he ships in to join the Cory Stratton barn, which has been going very well recently; he deserves plenty of attention from this spot. (6) BARRYWHITE HANOVER has missed some time but he had been very live in prior starts. (3) NATIVES FILOU was a recent low-end stakes winner at The Red Mile but he's missed nearly a month's worth of action; be careful.

Race 6: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) ZIGGY SKY was unable to get involved in his last two from outside posts but he gets much-needed post relief tonight and should be a good price. (3) THE DOWNTOWN BUS has been a disappointment recently but he's impossible to ignore at this reduced level. (1) SHINY BLACK BEAMER seemed to wake up a bit at Freehold and he just missed last time he drew inside.

Race 7: NW6 races or $75,000 lifetime Pace

(2) TELL THEM LOU is 0 for 25 on the season but that was solid effort in defeat last week, missing a nose in a track-record effort by the winner. Laterza trainee is clearly the one to beat. (5) MARLBANK ROAD has impressed in most efforts since arriving locally. (7) UCANTTOUCHTHIS is severely hampered by the outside post but the Jenn Bongiorno trainee must still be considered.

Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(3) MILLWOOD BONNIE N was reclaimed two back by Lance Hudson and proved a game winner last week in this new condition; from another decent starting spot she'll likely be favored to take another. (7) MAGICAL MISTRESS is a fresh face shipping in from Philly after spending time in the Midwest; mare has looked good climbing the conditioned ranks for the Daguet barn. (4) TAKE ABIT OF LIFE followed the winner home last week and can be a late threat again with a smooth trip.

Race 9: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) SUMTHINBOUTIM successfully dropped and popped last week; he's back up in class a notch but faces nothing special in his quest for the repeat. (1) SOMEWHERE FANCY just hasn't been good since that win in the Cup&Saucer prelim; veteran does drop and move inside. (4) JM'S DELIGHT was in too tough last week but certainly didn't disgrace himself.

Race 10: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) TITO ROCKS was a strong pocket-sitting winner last out and the 4-year-old seems more than good enough to handle this type; is the three weeks off a concern? (2) SAVE ME A DANCE burned money two back but rebounded with a wire-to-wire score; Burke trainee is main contender here. (6) TOOKADIVEOFFDIPPER is a quality veteran pacer and he now goes for the Alagna barn via purchase with Bartlett driving. Worth a peek here at what should be a big price.

Race 11: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(1) SHANAWAY N is the latest import for connections who have had plenty of success with these Down-under types; he was a 1:53 4/5 winner at Freehold in his U.S. debut. (3) CODY HANOVER gets Joe Bongiorno back in the bike for his sister and he was recently second best versus similar. (7) CAVIART LUCA hasn't been great recently facing some good ones when tagged for $100K. Tough spot but this Burke-trained millionaire can never be counted out.

Race 12: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) YANKEE OSBORNE figured to be able to handle last week's field when he plunged from $40K claimers into a NW7500. He can double up off that confidence-boosting win. (4) ANTHEM N hasn't won in quite some time but he has some tactical speed which can set him up nicely here. (5) DON DOMINGO N gets needed class relief and should show more.
