She was a regular in their Open class, so I think the NW5000L5 level at Yonkers is probably right up her alley, and she ships into the sharp Erv Miller barn. (2) VELOCITY MCSWEETS gets post relief here and should be more forwardly-placed like she was two and three back. (1) SEZANA N will probably be favored as she slides down from the NW7500L5's off a second-place finish, but she's just two-for-40 over the last two years and hasn't won at all in 2021, so I'll try and beat her. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 3YO NW1/12500LT Trot (1) GREG suffered a tough beat when caught at the wire last week. He won't offer much in the way of value, but I think he'll break through here. (2) SV ROYAL FLUSH had a run of three straight second-place finishes end on 8-27 at Harrah's Philadelphia as he got parked out. He should have every chance to rebound from this inside draw. (7) CANE GANG stayed flat last week in his debut for trainer Jeff Gillis, and might have more to offer with that positive experience to draw on. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace (4) COWGIRL LILLY ships up from Harrah's Philadelphia and from the Jim King Jr. barn to Scott Di Domenico. That's a move we've seen work with other horses, and this one also probably finds an easier spot than that NW5-7 class down south. (7) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N continues to have bad luck at the draw, but she does slide down from the NW10000L5's and came home with a sub 28 second final quarter last time out. (5) LUCKY ARTIST A was victorious against NW5000L5's at Yonkers on August 19, so this is a class hike, but given she shows finishing second against NW9100L5's back in June at Pocono, she's probably not overmatched. Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot (4) FIRST GUNNER delivered in his first start in from Iowa last Thursday. He did have a bit of help as there was an incident behind him that allowed him to open up a big advantage, but he also raced well, too, and remains in against NW2's. (3) CHROME PACKAGE got jammed up and broke when horses hooked wheels in front of him in that race my top pick won a week ago. He was racing well before that and returns to an inside draw tonight. (1) LADY RESORT AS went off as the favorite on 8-19 but didn't have anything to offer after a following trip. She races out of a barn that's having a very good meet and picks up an aggressive driver in Brent Holland, so I could see her rebounding. Race 5 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (5) WATCH MY LUCK returns to Yonkers after getting a check in the Open up at Saratoga. She was in against NW15000L5's when last seen locally and gets a chance to partner with Jason Bartlett. (6) NEVERFORGETWHOUR took advantage of a chance to slide down to the NW7500L5 class to get a victory on 8-19. She was a closing second at this level prior to that, so she's still a definite threat. (2) KAITLYN N paced home in 27 and change to finish third last Thursday in another solid effort. She's still winless in 2021, though, so I'll slot underneath. Race 6 - NW4/50000LT Trot (3) INSURED AM S shows a nice run of top-two finishes and picked up Scott Zeron at scratch time. (1) FAWN DE TOUCH broke the first time she raced with trotting hobbles on 8-5 but since then has won two straight, including over NW4 company here a week ago. (2) DA BOOGIE MAN was second to the well-meant Duchesspedia on August 19. He drew inside again tonight and has Bartlett to drive again. Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (6) SIESTA BEACH received conservative handling a week ago and never got involved. She won the Open from this post two back, so I'll hope there's different tactics coming and give her another chance. (1) SEASWIFT JOY N won two of three against NW30000L5's and remains drawn inside tonight, so I will include. (8) RACINE BELL has gotten tripped up the last two times she started from post eight, so as much as I respect her, I will take a shot against. Race 8 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 Pace (6) LOVELY DONNA raced in higher classes than this one when she was at Yonkers earlier this summer and posted a comfortable victory two back at Harrah's Philadelphia. (4) NATASHA is very sharp right now and has shown the ability to win both on the front or off cover like she did a week ago. I don't think the one level hike will be much of a bother to her. (1) SHECANDANCE N was third in a strong NW20000L5 race last Thursday that included Dragon Roll, who isn't a total write-off in the Open tonight. She gets post relief, too. Race 9 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 Pace (1) WOODMERE HARRIET gained spots and ground in the last quarter in her debut in this class last Thursday. I don't think this is the strongest NW20000L5 group, and she did just win two straight, so I'll try her. (5) MAN DONTFORGET ME came up just a nose short of winning when she raced at this level two back and drops after tackling Preferred company a week ago. (2) MACZAFFAIR N picked up her last win over NW20000L5's back on 7-1, and while not Bartlett's choice in this event, she landed a good replacement in Dan Dube. (3) MONICA GALLAGHER rebounded after a bad result on 8-12 with a second-place finish to Seaswift Joy N last Thursday. I am taking a pass on (6) WARRAWEE UBEAUT as she burned a ton of money at Pocono two back and then was fired up and went way too fast on the front-end a week ago. They might try to race her off-the-pace like she was a few weeks ago. Race 11 - NW6/76000LT Trot (3) BABY MAKER HANOVER lost Zeron to another one in here, but he won two back and then picked up positions and gained ground in the last quarter after getting shuffled back to the tail of the field a week ago. (1) COCKTAILS N DREAMS had to wait to get room to angle out of the pocket on 8-19 and others got the jump on him. He gets a new driver for the first time in a while as Todd McCarthy isn't here. (7) MOON BRIDGE has gone off as the favorite the last two times but hasn't been able to deliver either time. I'll put underneath. Race 12 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace (7) DANCE CLUB was second in this class back on 8-5, and I'll hope she gets overlooked a bit from this outside draw and use. (5) AMERICAN DELIGHT N went right down the highway to defeat NW10000L5's a week ago. She raced won at this level on 7-29 and was a rallying fourth, so I still think she's a threat. (4) I'M VERY SPECIAL returns after a second-place result when favored at Pocono on 8-22. She has more seconds and thirds than wins this year, so I'll try and beat her.
