Race 1 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace
(6) CAUGHTINALANDSLIDE won the last time he raced in this class on 8-22 and has been facing tougher open $40,000 claimers since then. (1) TO THE HUNT looms as the one to beat as he's won three of his last four and has hit the board in six of his last seven tries. He also drew the pole again to add to his appeal. (3) HIGH ON ROCKNROLL had no shot from the eight-hole two weeks ago but slides way inside on the gate here and was in good form prior to that short case of the the "bad post blues."

Race 2 - 40000CLM Trot
(2) KINDA LUCKY LINDY joined the Travis Alexander barn in August and has been facing tougher rivals than this both at Pocono and in the one local try on 8-9. I'll swing with him. (1) TOP ME OFF rallied to get the job done last Thursday in this class and moves inside to the pole position. (5) ROGER RABBIT drops out of the optional $60,000 claimers and was victorious the last time he faced $40,000 claiming foes on the 22nd of August. He also gets reunited with Brent Holland.

Race 3 - 25000CLM Pace
(1) KEYSTONE DASH romped over $20,000 claimers two back and then finished with pace in this class last Thursday. He moves in on the gate from post six to the pole position and gets another chance with Jordan Stratton in the bike. (6) DELIGHTFUL TERROR comes in on a three-race win streak and had no trouble jumping from the $15,000 claiming level to this one in his triumph a week ago. (2) WAR DAN DELIGHT N has struggled to find the winner's circle this year but does drop a notch and was second against $30,000 claiming foes late last month. He also gets a driver switch to Tyler Buter.
Race 4 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(1) IT'S MAHOMES A raced well in a third-place finish in his U.S. debut at Harrah's Philadelphia on 9-1. He should benefit from that start, drew the pole and was Austin Siegelman's choice. (4) OUTLAW MAN N was third in a tougher class than this in his first U.S. outing at the Meadowlands. He kept Jason Bartlett over a Per Engblom trainee, which is usually noteworthy. (5) WALKINSHAW N takes a second crack at the bottom level tonight after taking plenty of wagering support a week ago, but he is just one-for-20 in the win column this year, and so I'll slot him underneath.
Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot
Despite the bad draw, I'm going to give (7) BULLY BOY HILL another chance as I thought he raced very well behind a well-meant favorite a week ago and he's been able to make his way to the lead from an outside post at Pocono in his lines. (3) ALL STAR SWAN is a second-timer out of the Engblom barn and picks up Bartlett. She did break last Thursday but recovered well to get into contention before the trip caught up with her in the lane. (1) WILLY WALTON has hit the board in four straight starts and slides in from post four to the pole position.
Race 6 - NAADA Amateur Fall Series Leg #2 Trot
(1) IM THE MUSCLE was first-placed-second the last time he was in an amateur race at Pocono back in early August and exits a solid second-place finish from an outside draw at Freehold last time. (4) HOBBS gained some ground in the stretch to get a third behind the sharp Stick With Me Kid a week ago and doesn't face anybody as tough as that foe here. Joe Lee hops in the bike this time. (5) IMA STANDUP GUY comes north from Harrah's Philadelphia off a triumph in an amateur race in his most recent appearance.
Race 7 - NW31981L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot
I'm just going to draw a line through (4) BLACK MAGIC's start in the Bob Miecuna Invitational Trot on International Trot Day as he had a trailing post and broke. He won at the top overnight level prior to that and picks up George Brennan in the bike this time. (1) KEG STAND has gotten very hot as he won three in-a-row and then rallied to come up just a head short of winning the Invitational a week ago. He was Bartlett's choice in this tilt. (5) STORMY KROMER had no shot in the Miecuna from the eight-hole but had hit the board in a trio of appearances in the Invitational prior to that, and Dan Dube has had plenty of success with him in the past.
Race 8 - NAADA Amateur Fall Series Leg #2 Trot
(2) DWIGHT HANOVER tired after a tough trip at Freehold last time out, but I like that he was handled aggressively and he did win an amateur tilt at Pocono back on August 11. I've also seen this trainer have one ready to go a big mile at other tracks several times this year. (3) REEL EM IN exits the top trotting classes over at Monticello and went a long way on the engine before he finished second in an amateur event at Pocono on 7-28. (4) BACARDI finally drew well tonight after a series of poor posts both here and out of town and gets reunited with Yogi Sheridan.

Race 9 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(3) FUNATTHEBEACH N appears to be in a no-excuse spot tonight as he drops again and gets significant post relief. (2) SPLASH BROTHER makes his second start back after a qualifier, exits the NW10000L5 level and moves in from the eight-hole to post two. (6) BRUTALLYHANDSOME A never got involved from the ten-hole last time out at the Meadowlands but raced well in their NW7500L4 class prior to that and was also the runner-up the last time he faced NW7500L5 foes at Yonkers in mid-August.
Race 10 - NW22681L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot
(2) GHOSTLY CASPER made the Maple Leaf Trot final against some of the continent's best at Woodbine Mohawk Park and now comes south into Pat Lachance's barn. He won in a similar class to this one in Canada on 8-19 and I'll use him. (1) I GET IT double-drops out of the Invitational and gets post relief to go with it. He also gets reunited with Brennan. (3) TACHYON hasn't won in a bit but has hit the board in two straight outings since adding Lasix and is worth including underneath.
Race 11 - 3-5YO 20000CLM Pace
(3) CHIP IN BLUE won't offer 23-1 this time like he did last week, but he finished up with plenty of pace and merits a chance on top off that effort. (6) ON DAYBOO got the job done in this class a week ago, holding off my top selection at the wire. He is capable of doubling up but I'll look for some better value elsewhere. (5) AIRY SHADOW was fourth in the same event my top two picks exit from last Thursday and hit the board at this level on 8-24.
