Race 1 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(3) WALK WITH ME comes in from Indiana where she won the fair championship for 3YO filly trotters. She gets a chance to face NW2's here since many of her victories came in non-wagering events, and trainer Izzy Estrada has a knack with first-timers out of his barn. (2) PRECISE FASHION raced well from post seven last Thursday, finishing a gaining second to a well-meant winner, and drew inside tonight. (1) CANTSTOP YANKEE gave the sire stakes a couple of tries and now returns to overnight competition. He owns a win over NW2's here back on July 14.

Race 2 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 PM Races LT/F&M NW15000L5 Drawn Inside Pace

(4) BEST HEAD WEST gets some additional class relief tonight, and while she wasn't Jason Bartlett's pick, I think she'll do fine with Jordan Stratton, and I will use. (3) DARBY HANOVER slides down from the NW30000L5's and gets a better post to go with it. (2) MIKI ROSE was Bartlett's pick. She's razor-sharp right now with five wins in her last eight attempts, but this is a step up the ladder.

Race 3 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(4) CALLMEQUEENBEE A ships in from Harrah's Philadelphia. She tossed in a bit of a clunker last time out but did win in the corresponding class to this one two back down there, and I'll give her a chance. (2) VEL DONNA couldn't hold off a pylon-skimming Sezana N two weeks ago as the favorite but drew inside again tonight, and maybe she'll offer a better price. (1) CHECKERED PAST hit the board the last time she was in against NW7500L5's on 8-4 and should appreciate getting to exit the $50,000 claimers.

Race 4 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(7) SECRET OR NOT moves out on the gate tonight, but I think this horse has quite a bit of talent and won nicely against NW4's a week ago. Stratton picks up the drive, too. (2) PC FREE WHEELING got the job done in comfortable fashion a couple Thursdays back and has the potent Bartlett/Dowse combo working in her favor. (5) BACKSTREET PLAYER enters with four straight on-the-board results and was second to PC Free Wheeling in their common race on September 1.

Race 5 - F&M NW10176L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(1) UPTOWN HANOVER romped the last time she faced NW10000L5's at Yonkers on June 30 and landed the pole and Bartlett's services here. (2) HP XANADU faced tougher over at Pocono in her comeback race on 9-3 and gets a chance with Jordan Stratton tonight. (7) SPORTS FLIX just missed hitting the board in a race with a dominant winner a week ago, and I'll put her in the mix underneath.

Race 6 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(2) NUTTINBUTHEBEST has won at Yonkers before and ships in off a victory over NW18500L5 rivals at Pocono. This doesn't look like the toughest group for this level either. (4) COMMANDER CATHY N hit the board at this level two and three starts back and gets reunited with George Brennan from an improved post this week. (6) BABS JANSEN saw her run of top three finishes end last week, but she led a long way through a quick tempo before giving way. I think she could definitely bounce right back.

Race 7 - NW6/75000LT / NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Trot

(2) STARLIT RAMBO faces a softer group here than I think he has in his last couple of starts, and he drew another inside post. (5) DRIBBLING BI won the last time he raced in an overnight race on 8-8 at Pocono and he's hit the board against NW4's at Yonkers before. (6) CHAKE was second in the Pennsylvania Stallion Series final for 3YO filly trotters last time out and definitely knows her way to the winner's circle having captured seven of her 11 starts this year.

Race 8 - F&M NW30000L5/F&M NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Pace

(4) CHUPPAH ON tallied at this level back on August 18 and gained several positions in the final quarter in her most recent appearance on 9-1. (7) MCMARKLE SPARKLE finished third in the Open last Thursday and now gets to drop a notch. (5) REACHTHRUTHESKY AS also exits the Open and gets reunited with Stratton, who has been the driver when she's had all her good results.

Race 9 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(7) BETTORSHIGHLIGHT N makes her second start in the U.S. here. She was a solid third down at Harrah's Philadelphia in her debut on 8-28 and meets up with bottom level foes tonight as Bartlett's choice. (4) E R HILARY hasn't won yet in 2022 but we've seen this tandem of Braxten Boyd and Dennis Laterza bring in some prices, and she does have post relief in her second start back after a layoff. (1) SCANDALICIOUS landed the pole after having two outside draws, and I think that puts her back in the hunt.
