Race 1 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(4) GO DANCING A won over NW5000L5's on 8-17 but has missed time since due to a sick scratch on August 24. I think that could inflate his price a bit tonight and I'll give him a shot in this pretty wide-open looking affair. (3) CAPTAINS PLACE makes his second start for trainer Nick Devita and gets post relief to go with it. (2) PRETTY HANDSOME took advantage of a chance to face bottom level company last time out by winning. He wasn't driver Austin Siegelman's choice but picks up Yannick Gingras.

Race 2 - Open Handicap Trot

(5) HL REVADON was second to the classy Stormy Kromer in the Open Handicap on August 17 and doesn't face anybody as imposing as Stormy Kromer tonight. (4) ON HIGHER GROUND finished as the runner-up in two of three appearances in the Open Handicap at Yonkers back in June and July and returns to Westchester County after meeting up with the likes of double millionaire Amigo Volo at Pocono most recently. (3) ABRUZZO steps up to the top level but has been very sharp in recent efforts, and I'll toss him in underneath.

Race 3 - 50000CLM Trot

(6) NEWSBOY took one shot against optional $75,000 claiming company on September 7 and now drops back down to the class where he won two straight times prior to that. (3) IN MY DREAMS has been sharp since that victory on 7-22 and enters this race off a triumph at this level most recently. (4) MISSION VOYAGE was the runner-up in a $50,000 claiming event last Wednesday and gets reunited with Joe Bongiorno here.

Race 4 - NW2/25000LT / NW1/12500LT Drawn Inside Trot

(2) DIVINE ZETTE shows a recent second against NW2's over at Pocono and is a first-timer for a high-percentage barn tonight. (4) SHOPPING IN PARIS hasn't been outside the exacta in three chances since shipping in from Kentucky and picks up Gingras in the bike. (3) GOTTA HABIT was second in this class a week ago and gets another opporunity to partner with Jason Bartlett.

Race 5 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(2) ROSE RUN YANKEE cruised over NW4's at Yonkers on August 24 and returns to overnight action tonight after the connections took an unsuccessful swing at the New Jersey Classic. (4) HEADOVERBOOTS AS makes his second start on Lasix here and is normally reliable to hit the ticket underneath. (6) RAISEALITTLEHILL ships south from Canada where he was racing well over the half-mile at Grand River Raceway.

Race 6 - 50000CLM Trot

(3) FOR A DREAMER moves back to an inside post this time after finishing fourth from the eight-hole last Wednesday, and I think he's worth a chance. (5) IM THE MUSCLE owns a victory over $50,000 claiming foes on the 24th of August and was just claimed by high-percentage connections. (4) KOSHER MAHONEY broke before the start on 9-6 but was racing well prior that and hails from the hot Per Engblom barn.

Race 7 - NW8/100000LT / NW6/75000LT Drawn Inside Trot

(7) HERODOTUS starts from an outside post but exits stakes company for the first time since back in early May. He was fourth in the PA Sire Stakes Championship last time out. (6) SHEER FAITH was a closing third in the PA Sire Stakes Championship for 3-year-old filly trotters and gets reunited with Gingras for Engblom. (5) CREATIVE VENTURE is riding a two-race win streak and has an age advantage on the others in here as he's in the lone 5-year-old.

Race 8 - 3-5YO Open Pace

(3) SIMON SAYS HANOVER had no shot last week after a tough trip and was disqualified out of a win at this level prior to that. Hopefully he has better luck on his side here. (1) SHAKE IT was placed the winner of the event that my top pick was dq'd in on 8-24 and then backed that up with another win from an outside post on 9-4. He moves to the pole position tonight for Bartlett & Engblom. (2) HAZEVILLE finished well on the cones to grab a third-place finish in this class on the 31st of August and has another inside draw here.

Race 9 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot

(3) VALI HANOVER saw his run of on-the-board results end a week ago but gets post relief off that mile here. (1) PERRON won in this class two back and has the pole position to help his cause here. (6) B NICKING shifts outside on the gate but tallied over NW30000L5's last Thursday and kept George Brennan in the bike.

Race 10 - 50000CLM Trot

(3) CANTKEEPMIASECRET came up just a nose short of winning in this class last Wednesday and was victorious in it back on 8-17. Joe Bongiorno takes back over the driving tonight. (2) HUSTLENOMICS obviously won't be 46-1 here like he was in his triumph on 9-6 but he's got three triumphs in his last four outings overall and moves inside on the gate. (7) EPOS OSTERVANG DK landed the outside post for Bartlett and Engblom but has been in the top three in every start except one since back in mid-June.

Race 11 - NW20000L5/NW10 PM Races LT Trot

(2) BALENCIAGA disappointed as the odds-on favorite last Thursday but raced well in a quick mile, and I'll go back to him here. (1) SOUTHWIND ARTURO couldn't get involved a week ago from an outside post, and he was bothered early to boot. He moves inside on the gate to the pole position tonight and has hit the board in four of his last six tries. (6) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS hikes up from the NW15000L5's but is in the midst of an excellent season where he's been in the top three in 15 of his 16 appearances.

Race 12 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(8) KARLOO BRADLEY N makes his second start in the U.S. and drops after a fifth-place result on 9-1. He gets a new driver with Gingras taking over, and I'll expect aggressive handling. (7) SWEET TROY hasn't done much in his two appearances in this class but gets a driver switch to Bartlett, which makes me believe the connections are expecting him to be good. (5) JOJO'S PLACE was second to a well-meant and heavy favorite on September 2 and has a post edge on my top two selections.
