Race 1 - Amateur Race for Winners Over 3899 Trot

(4) PSALMSFORTYSIXFIVE gets significant post relief here and all of his efforts since he added trotting hobbles back in early July have been good, including a victory in an amateur race at Yonkers on 7-25. (2) BARRY BLACK finds a softer spot than he's been in and also moves in from the eight-hole to post two. He also picks up the hot hands of Andrew Adamczyk in the bike. (1) WINDSONG PIONEER has hit the board in three straight amateur contests and starts from the pole this time.

Race 2 - F&M Invitational Trot

(5) CRISTAL TRIO IT finished second twice in two efforts against males in the Invitational and faces just fillies and mares this time. She does move outside on the gate, but I think facing restricted company will offset that. (4) WARRAWEE XENIA will take support at the windows again but she hasn't won in a long time and is a pass for me on top. (3) P L NOTSONICE didn't have a smooth journey down to the cones a week ago but hung around to finish third. She's won at this level before, too.

Race 3 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace

(7) TARGET AQUIRED starts from the outside but faces what should be softer company tonight than he's been in against, and I trust he'll be sharp coming out of Travis Alexander's stable. (4) TO THE HUNT saw his run of top two finishes end last Thursday but gets a bit of post relief this time and goes for new connections in trainer Scott Di Domenico and driver George Brennan after getting claimed again. (2) HIGH ON ROCKNROLL has shown the ability to hit the board with some value at this level. I'll bank on him being able to do that here as well and include.

Race 4 - NW7741L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace

(4) I DRAINTHESWAMP A comes off a sick scratch and a poor result from the eight-hole, but this is the softest class he's been in locally and he shows a gaining third against NW10000L5's on 8-1. (2) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N moves in on the gate from post eight this time and did come in second in a NW7500L5 tilt back on July 4. (3) BRAEVIEW BONDI A is just one-for-25 in the win column in 2024 but has hit the board in his last two appearances at this level.

Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot

(4) FULL STRENGTH was in an Invitational won by Jiggy Jog S at Pocono last time out and shows a bunch of appearances in the Open at Harrah's Hoosier Park. This should be a much more reasonable spot and he's worth a chance. (1) NO MORE SWEETS makes his second start out of Per Engblom's barn and moves in on the gate to the pole position. He had good form at Northfield prior to coming east. (5) ENOLA drops out of the F&M Invitational and was second the last time she was in a $40,000 claimer back on 8-1.

Race 6 - NW5461L5/12500CLM Pace

I'm going to give (8) THRASHER another chance as it appeared he might be getting up in the stretch last week when he broke. He does start from the outside but kept Bartlett and perhaps will have more value this time. (4) CHANTEE gained ground in the final quarter in a third-place finish on 8-17. He makes his second start back in Pat Lachance's barn tonight and has won at Yonkers before. (2) FOREVER FAV finished out his mile pretty well from the eight-hole a week ago and gets significant post relief tonight.

Race 7 - 40000CLM Trot

(2) HAT TRICK MARLEAU raced pretty well in a NW10000L5 event last Wednesday. This is his second start back after a layoff, he moves in on the gate and gets a driver switch to Bartlett. (6) BAR COINS has won two in-a-row in this $40,000 claiming class and has hit the board in five straight outings overall. (4) PASSIONATE PROMISE miscued before the gate last Thursday but did win at this level prior to that.

Race 8 - Invitational Trot

(6) PAPPARDELLE is two-for-two since he returned to action and meets up with another group tonight that he's capable of handling. (5) BLACK MAGIC broke at Pocono most recently but won two in a row here in July and then was second to Dan Patch Award winner It's Academic at Northfield prior to that. (2) STORMY KROMER gets post relief this time and has Bartlett at the lines again. He's finished second in two straight appearances at this level.

Race 9 - NW20221L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot

(3) STORMONT DIVIDE drew well here after two straight post seven efforts. He shows two wins at this level and hopefully new pilot Jordan Stratton can map out the right trip. (6) DJIMON tallied in this class on 8-15 and recently added Lasix. Trainer Mark Steacy has put several live horses on the track since he started entering at Yonkers. (2) STREET GOSSIP closed in 27 and change in a fourth-place finish against NW20000L5's last week and was also fourth to DJIMON when they met on August 15.

Race 10 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace

(5) THAT DOG WILL HUNT shows sub-28 second final quarters in his last two outings and gets reunited with driver Brent Holland in his second start back in Dennis Laterza's stable. (2) CAPTAIN T HANOVER was third against open $30,000 claimers most recently and returns to the age-restricted version of the class here. He won two in-a-row in July. (4) HE'S SPECIAL gained ground in the final quarter in a NW7500L5 contest last Wednesday and makes his second start on Lasix. He's prevailed at this level before, too.
