MEET STATS: 134 - 612 / $983.60 (-$240.40) BEST BETS: 31 - 61 / $129.40 (+$7.40) SPOT PLAYS: 6 - 61 / $56.50 (-$58.20) BEST BET - MISSISSIPPI STORM (6th) SPOT PLAY - SINGFORYOURSUPPER (9th) Race 1 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace (3) BETTOR MAKE A WISH hasn't really had a chance to show what he's capable of from back-to-back outside posts. He drew well tonight, was third in this class back on 7-17 and was Colin Kelly's choice. (4) ALL ALONE gets a chance to team up with Yannick Gingras, and this should be a softer spot than the open $40,000 claiming event he was in last time out. (5) CHICKEN N DICE comes in off a victory at this level but loses Kelly's services to my top selection. I'll toss him in the mix underneath. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NAADA Summer Series Leg #8 Trot (2) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE just missed in a good performance last week and starts from another inside post. (3) MUSCLE DAN battled with my top pick a week ago before he wound up third and should have every opportunity to be on or near the front again tonight. (5) PEMBROKE REGAL was second in one try in the amateur races over at Pocono on the 27th of July and has one of the top pilots in Tony Beltrami. Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot (5) MAX didn't really fire two back and had an impossible trip a week ago, but he picks up Jason Bartlett in the bike tonight, and if anybody can get him back on track, it's the top driver here. (1) BLUEBIRD BISHOP won handily in his return to pari-mutuel action a week ago and you have to think he should only be tighter tonight. All of (4) IMA STANDUP GUY's wins this year have come at Yonkers and he had a recent run of four straight on-the-board results down at Harrah's Philadelphia. Race 4 - F&M Invitational Trot (6) TIPSY MONI is up to three straight victories in the F&M Invitational, and although the competition did get close to her last week, she got the job done like she usually does. I'll back her again tonight. (5) QUEEN OF ALL came up just a nose short of defeating my top pick a week ago and starts one notch inside her on the gate. (4) HOT FLASH KIMMY slides in a couple of slots on the starting gate this time and does own a win in this class back on the 12th of June. She's also hit the board in all four of her outings since the qualifier on July 4. Race 5 - NAADA Summer Series Leg #8 Trot (3) LOS BALLYKEELAMIGO led a long way before he wound up fourth last Thursday and slides in from post eight to the three-hole this time. (2) ITSONEOFTHOSE also gets significant post relief here off a gaining third-place effort last week. (1) RACEACE has had plenty of success at Yonkers during his career and should be in the hunt from the pole position. Race 6 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (3) MISSISSIPPI STORM steps up from the NW15000L5 level but does so off a romping win and doesn't meet up with the stoutest NW20000L5 field here. (6) CHULO was in against tough foes last time out at the Meadowlands but did pick up a check, and he defeated NW15000L5 company here prior to that. (4) BRONZER was an even third in this class last week and I'll use him underneath tonight. Race 7 - Invitational Trot (4) ARI FERRARI J lost all chance last week when he made a miscue, but Bartlett has gotten along with this horse very well in the past and returns to the bike tonight. (5) SOUTHWIND COORS continued his excellent season with another win in the Invitational a week ago. He partners with Gingras again and should have every chance at another trip to victory lane. (6) TAKE ALL COMERS was victorious the last time he was in the Invitational at Yonkers on the 17th of July and exits stakes company at the Meadowlands. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - 40000CLM Trot (7) BARN HALL drew poorly again tonight but comes off a much-improved effort last Thursday, and I'll hope he is put in play against a wide-open group. (4) JAS BLUESTONE has hit the board in six straight outings between here and Pocono and was third in the same race my top pick exits from a week ago. (1) AIRMANS JACKPOT drops out of the F&M Invitational and was second in all three of her tries against $40,000 claiming company in June and July. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (5) SINGFORYOURSUPPER landed a mid-pack post here after four straight starts from the seven- or eight-hole. I'll hope that means he can be closer to the action for a high-percentage stable. (2) EVER M won two straight amateur events down at Harrah's Philadelphia since he joined his current barn and picks up Gingras in the bike tonight. (1) RECORD YEAR shows three victories against $15,000 claiming company at Yonkers, including his most recent one last Thursday. Add in that he starts from the pole, and he's very usable again.
