MEET STATS: 127 - 583 / $934.50 (-$231.50) BEST BETS: 31 - 58 / $129.40 (+$13.40) SPOT PLAYS: 5 - 58 / $56.50 (-$59.50) BEST BET - SOUTHWIND COORS (8th) SPOT PLAY - CHICKEN N DICE (9th) Race 1 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) YOU BEDA ROCK hasn't had much chance from posts seven and eight in her last two tries but she was second the last time she drew inside in this class on 7-3 and makes her second start for these connections off the claim. She also gets a driver switch to George Brennan. (5) HARPER SEELSTER joins a high-percentage stable off a claim here and comes in with back-to-back runner-up results. She also shows a pair of victories at this level back in June. (6) CELCIUS makes her second appearance after a layoff tonight and drops out of $30,000 claiming company. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NAADA Summer Series Leg #7 Trot (1) MUSKINGUM comes in off a solid closing effort at the Meadowlands last Friday, starts from the pole and was Yogi Sheridan's choice. (8) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE will have to overcome the eight-hole but has been facing the toughest horses out of anybody in here. (4) WOODSIDE GENIUS was favored in the spring series final when last seen at Yonkers in early June and makes his second start back after a layoff. Race 3 - F&M Invitational Trot (4) TIPSY MONI looked like her old self in a dominant win last Thursday and usually is the one to beat at this level. (6) HOT FLASH KIMMY closed well in a second-place finish to TIPSY MONI a week ago but drew outside her, and I see the same result happening again. (5) QUEEN OF ALL didn't threaten and ended up making a break last week but was sharp prior to that and owns recent victories in both the Invitational and the F&M Invitational. Race 4 - 30000CLM Pace (4) SADDLE UP is the current king of this class as he's won the last four times he's raced against $30,000 claimers. He debuts for trainer/driver Joe Bongiorno tonight, and I think the same result is forthcoming. (1) MAXIMUS RED A moves in from the eight-hole to the pole position and shows a second two back and a win on June 2 at this level. (7) SHADOW CAT gets a driver switch to Yannick Gingras for leading trainer Per Engblom and was third to a well-meant foe last Thursday. Race 5 - NAADA Summer Series Leg #7 Trot (7) BIG LIMO didn't draw very well here but posted a second and a win in his last two efforts over at Pocono, and the owner is going in the bike tonight, which can often signify a top effort is coming in these amateur events. (5) PAPA DOC has also been sharp in amateur races at Pocono and got a check in a NW10000L5 event at Yonkers last Friday. (2) IMPRESSIVE DUDE comes south from Rideau Carleton in Ontario off a romping victory and also shows several appearances in that track's top trotting class. Race 6 - F&M 20000CLM Pace I'm going to give (4) YUENGLING another shot tonight as she closed with pace in a third-place effort last Thursday and makes her third start out of this stable. (7) RACIN FOR ROYALTY has been out of the top three just once in her last seven outings and debuts for new connections tonight off a claim. (5) QUICK MENU didn't threaten from a bad post a week ago but slides in a couple of notches on the gate here and tallied in this class two back. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace (1) KEYSTONE DASH posted a third-place finish in a $20,000 claimer two back and drops and moves inside on the gate tonight. (4) RECORD YEAR has been racing well for an extended period of time and his only recent off-the-board finish came in one try against $20,000 claiming company. He debuts for new connections off a claim and gets a bit of post relief here. (3) FULL SUPPORT makes his third start back after a layoff and was second to a well-meant foe in his last try on July 19. Race 8 - Invitational Trot (6) SOUTHWIND COORS is in the midst of an excellent 5-year-old campaign and gets reunited with Gingras tonight. He does start from the outside, but I expect he'll be sent out of there and be on or near the lead. (5) ARI FERRARI J exits stakes company and has had success at Yonkers in the past. (4) FERRETTI was a gaining second in the Invitational Trot when last seen a couple of weeks ago and was Brennan's choice in this event. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace (4) CHICKEN N DICE closed strongly from the eight-hole last Thursday and gets significant post relief tonight. He was third in this class two back and won down at Harrah's Philadelphia prior to that. (4) LYONS BENJAMIN has been on a form spree for a while and won again at this level on July 21. He was claimed again out of that race, moves in on the gate and adds Gingras in the bike. (1) CAMOUFLAGE MONEY drew post one and has been first or second in his last three outings for Engblom and Brennan. Race 10 - 40000CLM Trot (5) JAS BLUESTONE ships in from Pocono in sharp form and has shown the ability to win both from near the pace and off-the-pace. I'll give him a chance on top. (4) CANTSTOP YANKEE has won back-to-back races against $40,000 claimers and debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. (7) MAX didn't really fire a couple of weeks ago and saw his win streak end. He gets a driver switch to Joe Bongiorno here and you have to respect his overall form, so I'll include.
