BEST BETS: 34 - 53 / $121.00 (+$15.00)

BEST BET - DRIBBLING BI (3rd)
SPOT PLAY - WOODMERE HARRIET (9th)
Race 1 - NW2/25000LT / NW12500LT Drawn Inside Trot
(4) BACKSTREET PLAYER was third in the Weiss Series final and got a check in a Pennsylvania All-Stars division over at Pocono earlier this year. He qualified back nicely Pocono on July 6 after a brief freshening up, and I'll put him on top. (7) BANK BREAKS raced well to finish second against NW2's on 6-30. Trainer Per Engblom is doing well right now, and this horse picks up Jason Bartlett in the bike. (6) AVACAKES was third in the same event Bank Breaks comes out of and easily defeated NW1's at Harrah's Philadelphia on the 9th of June.

Race 2 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(1) CASH ROLL hasn't done much lately, but she does drop again and move in from post eight to the pole position while the favorites are stuck outside. (4) SCANDALICIOUS makes her second start back after a brief layoff and gets another chance with Joe Bongiorno. She was fourth after a pocket trip last Thursday. (6) ANDRA DAY turned in an improved effort a week ago when she slid down to this level and is back on a regular racing schedule after being scratched on June 23.

Race 3 - NW4/50000LT Trot
(1) DRIBBLING BI appears to clearly be the one to beat here given her stakes appearances and recent third-place result against NW5's at Harrah's Philadelphia. (3) BY A HOFF HANOVER gets another shot with Bartlett tonight but has struggled to find the winner's circle thus far in 2022. (6) EXCHEQUER has hit the board a couple times in his last three outings against NW4's and picks up Dan Dube, who might elect to put in him play.
Race 4 - F&M NW8921L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(2) CHELSKI exits the NW10000L5 level and gets reunited with Bartlett for the first time since he won with her on May 19. (1) LAURIE LEE has a barn change to Scott Di Domenico and comes out of some tough races at the Meadowlands and Harrah's Philadelphia. I think she'll appreciate the class relief tonight. (7) ASHTINI is in pretty good form but will likely need some cover and pace to chase.
Race 5 - NW2/25000LT Trot
(3) DIMANTE VIC came in second when he faced straight NW2's on 6-23 and gets some post relief here for a barn that can have one ready to fire. (6) JBN defeated NW2's at Yonkers back in late April and comes off a romping win over New York Excelsior "A" Series foes at Goshen Historic Track. (5) LIVINGONTHERAIL picked up a second-place result last Thursday, and I think at this point clearly prefers racing on half-mile ovals. He slides in a couple of notches on the gate here.
Race 6 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/4&5YO F&M NW9 PM Races LT Pace
(7) JIVE DANCING A is capable of pulling off a pari-mutuel puzzler like she did back on 5-19. She drops a notch, and while drawn outside again, doesn't meet up with any real obvious standouts. (4) SUNDAY AFTERNOON made a brief break while readying to pull out of the pocket last week, and although she was able to take the lead after collecting her gait, she had to settle for fourth. She was Joe Bongiorno's choice, and hopefully she avoids any mis-steps here. (2) SPORTS FLIX gets to exit the NW20000L5 base class and also gets reunited with Brent Holland.
Race 7 - F&M NW30000L5/4&5YO F&M NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM/F&M NW20000L5 Drawn Inside Pace
(7) ROCKN PHILLY gives NW30000L5 company another crack here, and I don't think she's going to be the odds-on favorite like she was on 6-30. She adds Bartlett and trainer Noel Daley has been doing well at Yonkers through the year. (3) DRAGON ROLL gets to drop out of the Open and beat NW30000L5's twice back in May. (5) DRAMA ACT hasn't won since the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series and was defeated at 1-5 in a NW20000L5 base class race a week ago. I'll throw her in, but only underneath.

Race 8 - F&M Open Pace
(6) MAJORCA N doesn't have to deal with starting from post eight here like she did last Thursday and lures Corey Callahan in for one drive. (3) SIESTA BEACH was fourth in the Open two back and moves in on the gate this week. (4) MCMARKLE SPARKLE crushed her rivals in the Open a week ago and looks like a logical contender again tonight.
Race 9 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(6) WOODMERE HARRIET romped to an easy win the last time she faced NW5000L5's at Yonkers back in the winter and drops out of some tougher spots at Harrah's Philadelphia and the Meadowlands. (4) BET I'M LUCKY crossed the wire first two back but was placed for going inside pylons and then had an outside draw last Thursday. She gets some relief in that department tonight. (1) AMERICAN TOUR N has finished second in two straight starts since pairing up with Jordan Stratton, and he stuck with her tonight.
