Race 1 - 50000-75000CLM HCP Trot

(2) DRACO S hasn't won yet in the U.S. but closed out his mile well on 7-1, makes his second start on Lasix tonight, and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett. (1) MAX shifts inside to the pole position here after finishing fourth from first-over last Thursday from the six-hole. (6) OH BOY rallied to his second straight win a week ago and was claimed by high-percentage connections.

Race 2 - New York Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Pace

(1) PACINO HANOVER finished second at Vernon on 6-16 to a horse who is in the Meadowlands Pace final (Its A Me Mario) and I'll hope he's ready off the brief layoff and one qualifier following a sick scratch on June 27. (4) DUVAL STREET won impressively in the sire stakes at Saratoga on the 24th of June and backed that up by taking a new life's mark at Pocono in a subsequent effort. (5) I WAS TRICKED has finished second in both of his sire stakes efforts thus far and will probably be firing out.

Race 3 - New York Excelsior A 3YO C&G Pace

(4) UPALLNIGHTBLUECHIP didn't draw post eight here like he did at Vernon and Saratoga and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton, who guided him to a win two back. (5) BOSTON BOUND is two-for-two in the Excelsior A Series and has shown a pretty versatile racing style. (1) GRETZKY THE GREAT closed well to grab a second in the same Excelsior A tilt at Saratoga that BOSTON BOUND exits and starts from the pole position.

Race 4 - New York Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Pace

(3) CAVIART SCOTLAND has closed out his last three miles with pace but hasn't gotten much to show for it. Tonight he gets a driver switch to Yannick Gingras, and perhaps that will lead to a more aggressive approach. (1) THUNDER HUNTER JOE rallied to finish third against open company in the MGM Grand Messenger Stakes final last time out and has a NYSS win at Vernon two back. (6) BLUE HUNT went a long way on the lead before finishing second to Duval Street at Saratoga and also picked up a check in a Grand Circuit event at Woodbine Mohawk Park in early June.

Race 5 - 2-4YO NW1/12500LT Trot

(6) FLARES ZIVA came up just a neck short of a win in a NW1 race at Pocono two back and returns to overnight competition tonight after getting a fourth in a Stallion Series tilt most recently, also at Pocono. (4) HL BALLERINA makes her second start of the season here after finishing second in a Landmark division at Goshen Historic Track and switches to a catch driver (Jordan Stratton). (1) CHEF ROCCO also comes in off a runner-up result in a Landmark split last time out and gets reunited with Mark MacDonald.

Race 6 - New York Excelsior A 3YO C&G Pace

(6) EL YERNO tallied in the Excelsior A Series at Saratoga on June 24 and has a barn change to Jenn Bongiorno and a driver change to Joe Bongiorno here. (3) HUMAN COCKTAIL owns a win at Yonkers back in late May and was second most recently in the Excelsior A at Goshen Historic Track. (1) JOHNNY SACK is very sharp right now and aggressive handling is likely coming from the pole position for the same connections as Chef Rocco in race five.

Race 7 - New York Sire Stakes 3YO C&G Pace

(3) AMERICAN FLING was the sire stakes champion for this division last year and exits a fourth-place finish in the MGM Grand Messenger Stakes final. (1) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR tallied in the NYSS at both Vernon and Saratoga and partners up with Scott Zeron again tonight. (2) TRAIN STATION was fourth in the sire stakes on 6-16 and 6-24 and could add some value underneath the two logical ones in here.

Race 8 - 3-5YO Open Pace

(3) SOUTHWIND PETYR moves way inside on the gate tonight after having post eight and then three seven-holes in his last four tries. That should give Bongiorno a lot more options on how to race him, and I'll use. (2) PLEASELETMEKNOW romped on the front-end at this level last Thursday and gets to slide in to the two-hole here. (1) CERTIFIABLE was second to PLEASELETMEKNOW a week ago and was Jason Bartlett's choice.

Race 9 - 50000CLM Trot

(5) GAELIHILL invades from Harrington where he was racing in the Open Handicap Trot and has a barn change to Ron Burke. Co-owner Gingras also takes the driving assignment. (3) PERRON led throughout and won in this class a week ago and should be on or near the lead again tonight. (1) CRESCENT BEAUTY has just one off-the-board finish in her four outings since coming into Nicole Dicostanzo's stable and won at this level on 6-15.

Race 10 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/NW20000L5 Drawn Inside Trot

(4) HL REVADON scored in his return off the bench at Harrah's Philadelphia on July 2 and raced in the Open Handicap at Yonkers all winter and spring, so he should appreciate returning at a level below that. (4) WHAT SHOULD I GOO romped to an open-length victory in this class on the 29th of June and has been sharp overall since adding Lasix in mid-May. (5) NO MAS DRAMA won when last seen at Yonkers on 6-22 and returns after taking on Open company at Harrah's Philadelphia.

Race 11 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(3) IM AN ANDOVER owns a win and a second in two local appearances in this class and hit the board against PA Stallion Series company last time out at Harrah's Philadelphia. (5) MIDWIND SUCCESS hasn't been able to find the winner's circle yet in 2023 but has been racing well since adding trotting hobbles back in mid-May and overcame post eight to finish second at Pocono most recently. (2) WISTERIA HANOVER was third against NW2 company at Yonkers on June 29 and I think she meets up with a softer group tonight than she faced in that contest.

Race 12 - NW15966L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot

(3) B NICKING won at a level higher than this at Harrah's Philadelphia two back and then backed that up with a fourth in their Open. I'll hope that form translate over into his return to the half-mile oval. (5) PINEWOOD HANOVER faded after cutting the fractions on June 29 but makes his second start for trainer Per Engblom here and double-drops in class. (1) P L OSCAR has a post relief/class drop combo tonight and picks up a driver in Dan Dube who might just fire him out and see how far he can go on the engine.
