MEET STATS: 114 - 424 / $695.40 (-$152.60) BEST BETS: 21 - 42 / $80.10 (-$3.90) SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 42 / $18.20 (-$65.80) BEST BET - SIESTA BEACH (10th) SPOT PLAY - SANDY'S BEACH (6th) Race 1 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10/NW15000L5 Draw Inside Pace (2) JIVE DANCING A drops for the second straight week and has an inside post tonight. I think we'll see her switch things back up to an aggressive front-end style, and hopefully it works out. (3) MACZAFFAIR N came in third at this level a week ago and looks usable. (6) NORMAN'S MADELINE is drawn outside, but with the short field it's not as big an issue as it would be with eight horses. This is the lowest level she's been at in several weeks. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW6/75000LT Trot (1) BLUFFINNER demonstrated his affinity for the Yonkers oval again last Thursday, winning pretty easily in his return from out of town. He landed the pole position and remains in the NW6 class, so he'll be pretty tough again. (2) TURBOCHARGEDPETE has raced well since coming in from Ohio, finishing second in both of his appearances, including to Bluffinner a week ago. (4) CAVALIER GEORGE hikes up from the NW4 level but does so with two straight victories. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (1) SUDDEN CHANGE N posted her most recent win the last time she was in this class on 4-29, and though she was rejected by Jordan Stratton, I will give a chance as she drew inside again and drops a level. (7) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE held on for third after she was two-wide for an extended period of time to get to the point on 6-23. She takes a second crack at NW5000L5 foes here, and any smoother journey gives her a chance at a better result. (4) SWEET MOVES picked up several spots in the last quarter to hit the board a week ago, and she did top NW6000L5's at Freehold back in early May. Might offer some value underneath. Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot (2) CHROME PACKAGE returns to an inside post tonight after having the seven-hole last week, is the only 4-year-old in the field, and should be a decent price. (5) SEVENSHADESOFGREY drops out of stakes company but will offer a very short price for a horse with just one career victory. (6) CHARMING BANK scored pretty handily over NW1 rivals at Yonkers on June 17 and does have the most lifetime wins in this group. Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace (4) MY DELIGHT makes his second start out of the Scott Di Domenico barn tonight after being claimed on 6-14 and slides inside after having the eight-hole on June 22. (7) GLOBALDOMINATION N bested NW5000L5 foes as expected last Wednesday. He has quite a bit of back class to call upon and has a lot of experience racing from outside posts at Yonkers, so I think he remains quite usable. (2) BETTING EXCHANGE has hit the board in nine of his 19 tries this year and drops a level. Race 6 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace (6) SANDY'S BEACH has picked up two of her three wins this year when she's raced in ths class, and I'll look for her to make it three. (3) SCANDALICIOUS drops in class and moves inside on the gate, which should allow her to be much closer to the action. (4) MALNIFICENT took a shot and left hard a week ago but ended up getting parked. She did hold on for fifth despite that and moves down a level, so I'll include. Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (8) RACINE BELL overcame post eight to win twice back in April and is probably just too sharp for the rest of these right now. (2) IMPRINCESSGEMMA A broke stride in her first attempt for these connections but bounced right back for two straight victories. She's been competitive in the Open before, so I won't leave her out. (3) FEELIN RED HOT was handled conservatively last week in the Open, but with this shift inside on the gate, there may be a switch back to more aggressive tactics. Race 8 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (3) LATE NIGHT DATE A races for a trainer that has a high percentage out of town and exits some fast races in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. (1) ANGEL'S PRIDE went a big mile on the front-end to crush NW7500L5 competition. She does step up here, but that victory should have given her a confidence boost. (2) SHELLIE DE VIE was third to Angel's Pride in that race a week ago. She loses Scott Zeron to my top pick but gets a good replacement in Jason Bartlett and may be able to tow along and hit the board. Race 9 - F&M NW15000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace (3) DEMETER N cruised over NW10000L5's last Thursday, and though she moves up a level tonight, I think she has the class to handle it. (4) DANCE CLUB won a few times at Yonkers back in the winter and returns here after facing some stiff competition elsewhere, including Blue Chip Matchmaker Series champion Machnhope on 6-6 at Harrah's Philadelphia. (5) STELLENBOSCH gained ground in the last quarter in her Yonkers comeback a week ago and may be looking to rally late again in this race.   Race 10 - F&M NW30000L5 Pace (6) SIESTA BEACH fit this class again after rolling to an easy win last Thursday, and I'll look for the double up. (3) ANN HILL beat a pretty classy foe in Golden Quest N a week ago and was claimed by trainer Gil Garcia-Herrera. He might be able to get a little more out of her. (4) YS TALLIA was fourth to Siesta Beach last week. She did pick up a check in the Open on 6-17, so I think she's a contender. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 11 - NW4/51500LT Trot (3) SEVENTIER joins Bluffinner to give trainer-driver Trond Smedshammer two big-time contenders on the card. This one ships in with three straight victories and catches a beatable group tonight. (7) DIFFIDENT is the lone filly in here, but she's only missed the board once this year, downed NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently, and was a good second to a multi-time stakes winner this year in Dazzling Reign two back at Pocono. (1) MOMM'S MY DAD won over NW4's on May 27 and then had two outside draws in his two starts in June. He landed the pole here, so that should definitely help his cause. Race 12 - F&M NW15000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace (2) PONDER THE ODDS didn't have much luck at the NW20000L5 level, but she gets to drop tonight and has a good, inside draw. (4) SLICK ARTIST A has turned into a win machine, taking her last three starts. She's in for the optional claiming tag here, so she doesn't have to move up in class from her most recent triumph. (1) TELL ME A JOKE also has three consecutive taillies and has overcome first-over grinds in two of them. I'll include.
