Race 1 - NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT/NW10000L5 Drawn Inside Trot
(2) TACHYON drops out of the NW20000L5 base class here. He won at that level two back, so I know he's got the talent to win in this spot, especially with the added post relief and driver switch back to Tyler Buter. (5) JULA MUSCLE PACK finished third as the favorite at this level a week ago and has the potent Jason Bartlett/Per Engblom tandem in his corner. (4) PERRON tallied handily on 5-27 and has shown the ability to win in a NW15000L5 event before as well.

Race 2 - NW1/12500LT / NW2/19276LT Drawn Outside Trot
(3) FIVE FISH SPECIES gained spots to finish second to a dominant winner a week ago. I don't think there's anybody in here as tough as that foe was, and I think the daughter of Chapter Seven has a chance to break her maiden. (5) WARRAWEE YIMA picked up a check in a mixed NW2/NW4 test last Thursday and faces softer NW1/NW2 company here. He was victorious at Yonkers back on May 18. (4) MILLIONDOLLARRIDE has burned some money down at Harrah's Philadelphia in his last two tries, but the horse he finished second to on 5-18 (I'm An Andover) came back to win at Yonkers and then was third in a stakes event at The Meadows in subsequent efforts.

Race 3 - NW4/50000LT / NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Trot
(4) DUSTIN HANOVER shows several good efforts against NW4's out at Northfield and gets to partner with Bartlett in his first attempt for new connections. (2) AVACAKES has been knocking on the door and racing well since getting to team up with Yannick Gingras and has him in the bike again tonight. (1) SQUABLE owns a poor lifetime win record but can be tossed in underneath to try and get some value in tris and supers, especially from the pole position.
Race 4 - NW15761L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT/NW10000L5 Drawn Inside Trot
(2) MON AMOUR squeezed into this race by a dollar as he has $15,760 earned in his last five starts. He's been facing some tough customers at the Meadowlands lately but won in the corresponding class to this one across the river back in late April. (4) B NICKING has significant post relief tonight and was racing well prior to his eight-hole/break mis-adventure last Thursday. (3) SEVENSHADESOFGREY takes a second crack at this level after finishing third back on the 25th of May.
Race 5 - NAADA Amateur Summer Series Leg #2 Trot
(7) RACEACE showed up once at Yonkers back in the NAADA Spring Series, won from an outside post and paid well. I'm going to hope lightning strikes again here as he's continued to race well at Monticello, including picking up a check in the Open most recently. (4) JUDGE KEN has finished in the top two in three straight outings and drew well again here. (8) LIONHEAD tallied in the first leg of this series a week ago. He's stuck out in the eight-hole but is very sharp and has shown the ability to hang around on the outside and hit the board at Freehold.
Race 6 - 50000CLM Trot
(2) AFTER ALL PAUL trotted a sharp final quarter a week ago in finishing fifth and moves inside on the gate tonight. I'll hop aboard in the hopes that was a sign that performance was an indication that he's coming back to good form. (3) FOR A DREAMER was sharp off the bench last Thursday and won in this class from first-up. (4) ALL CHAMPY might be tailing off a bit as he was able to get to the front last week but was overtaken in the final quarter. He has won for trainer Mike Watson before, though.
Race 7 - NW7/76566LT Trot
(4) TORRONE scored in a NW6 race the last time he was at Yonkers on 5-11 and I think will appreciate getting back to the half-mile track tonight after racing in Pennsylvania in his last two outings. Trainer Tom Fanning has been doing well lately also. (1) IN A TINY WAY just missed in a couple of tries here back in May, including a second to Torrone when they met on the 11th. She has significant post relief off her last try from the eight-hole at Pocono. (5) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS has been racing well but has disappointed as the favorite three times since his victory on April 12. I'll slot him underneath.

Race 8 - 3-5YO Open Pace
(6) SOUTHWIND PETYR couldn't get involved from post eight last Thursday but was racing well prior to that and gets to move inside a couple of slots on the gate here. I also think he'll offer some value due to the presence of (1) TAKE A GAMBLE who returned to his winning ways a week ago and dug in determinedly to hold off a Grand Circuit stakes winner in American Courage. (2) FEARFUL INTENT finished with plenty of pace in his first try at this level last week and starts from a much-improved draw.
Race 9 - Open Handicap Trot
(5) STORMY KROMER took a bit of time to get going this year but is racing well again now and out-drew (7) CREDIT CON, who defeated him in the Open Handicap back on May 25. CREDIT CON has clearly picked his game up since the addition of Lasix but this is the worst post he's had in a bit. (3) SWEET SOUL DAVID has won three of his last four starts and gets the acid test tonight in the Open. You have to respect that victory two back especially as it was over a stakes-level rival in Balenciaga.
Race 10 - NW20551L5/NW10 PM Races LT Trot
(7) WHAT SHOULD I GOO held on to finish second against a Grand Circuit caliber foe in Incommunicado last Thursday. She doesn't face anybody here with that type of class, and I also think she'll be a square price from the outside post. (2) NO MAS DRAMA drops again tonight and gets reunited with Jim Marohn Jr. (5) SPICY NUGGET was third in the same race my top pick comes out of and didn't have a great trip in that contest. He has co-owner Gingras back in the bike again tonight.
Race 11 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(5) TIN ROOF RAIDER A doesn't show much form but has post relief and a driver switch to Bartlett in his second attempt against NW5000L5 company. I expect those factors will help him out and I'll put him on top. (1) HE'S GONNA GETYA drops to the bottom level in his fourth start back off the bench and moves from the eight-hole to the pole position. (2) NOWHERE CREEK A hit the board in a NW7500L5 test on the 29th of May and gets further class relief in this spot.
