Race 1 - 25000CLM Pace

(5) HAPPY TRIO drops out of the $40,000 claimers for Jason Bartlett and Gareth Dowse and looks like he'll be pretty tough in the opener. (2) SWAGASAURUSREX was third against $25,000 claimers two back and returns to an inside post after starting from the seven-hole in his last try. (4) POSH ONTHE BEACH A closed in 27 and change to finish a gaining third on May 19 and while rejected by Bartlett for my top pick, he gets a chance with Yannick Gingras.

Race 2 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/4&5YO F&M NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(1) MAJOR BATTLE picked up some spots in the stretch at the Meadowlands on May 21 and was in good form at Yonkers prior to that with a win and a second. (4) EDGE OF ETERNITY was second in a NW20000L5 event on 5-12 and gets to drop a notch tonight. (2) GINGER TREE LIZ had to do the first-over work in her last start, so I can overlook her poor result that night. She gets reunited with Bartlett here.

Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(7) ITZPAPALOTL makes her fourth start of 2022 tonight and lands at the bottom level. She picked up her lifetime mark at Yonkers last year, and I expect her to be very tough. (1) BYE BYE MICHELLE should be close to the action given that she starts from the pole and packs some early speed. I will include. (4) IRON MISTRESS woke up with a win in the corresponding class to this one down at Harrah's Philadelphia last time out and is certainly usable.

Race 4 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(5) RABLE was also entered at Yonkers on Tuesday but scratched out of that spot for this one. She hasn't won yet this year, but there are no killers in this bunch, and she was a good second last time out at Harrah's Philadelphia. (3) TEMPUS SEELSTER drops another notch tonight, and if she's ever going to wake up, you have to think it might come in a race like this one. (1) CORSINI A comes in with two straight wins, and although she steps up from the NW7500L5's, she has the pole. I also thought was very game in that victory on 5-19 as she was first-over for a long time.

Race 5 - NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(3) NORMAN'S MADELINE romped in this class on April 14 and returns to Yonkers here after finishing sixth in the same race Rable comes out of at Harrah's Philadelphia. 4) ALWAYS B MIMI got a start over the track on 5-19 and now makes her second local appearance for trainer Cory Stratton. I think she could improve and will include. (1) SPORTS FLIX can probably win this race but flopped at 1-9 against bottom level foes last time out, so I have to go against.

Race 6 - F&M NW5401L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) ANOTHER BEACH DAY has picked up checks in five of her six tries against better since shipping up from Florida, and I think getting to meet up with bottom level rivals tonight could land her back into the winner's circle. (1) COLOR ENVY grabbed a second and a win in this class back in April and returns to it for the first time since then tonight. (8) SCANDALICIOUS gives NW5000L5 base class foes a second crack here, and she's raced well from outside posts in the past, so that won't deter me from including her.

Race 7 - F&M NW19765L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/4&5YO F&M NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(6) SIESTA BEACH got back on track last time out with a facile win over NW10000L5's, and I expect that she'll start to move back up the class ladder now. (1) BRILLIANT BEAUTY invades from out of town with first- or second-place finishes in five of her last six outings. (3) THINK OF GALAXIES just missed in a NW8 event at Yonkers on April 20 and trainer John McDermott has been winning with everything over at the Meadowlands recently.

Race 8 - NW6/75000LT / NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Trot

(5) INFINITY STONE is back at Yonkers this time after competing at Harrah's Philadelphia on 5-26. He's won three straight races, including locally on May 12, and I won't go against. (4) LOVE THIS BAR looks like the main threat to my top pick as he won in his second start out of the Ron Burke barn on the 19th of May. (1) OCEANVIEW PRINCE hasn't missed the top three since coming to Yonkers from Ohio and has Bartlett to drive again.

Race 9 - F&M NW30000L5/4&5YO F&M NW12 PM Races LT Pace

(1) BEST HEAD WEST dominated in this class on May 19 and should get plenty of respect from post one. (2) CASH ROLL finished third in the race won by Best Head West last time out, and she might be able to follow along behind her from the two-hole. (5) BOLT OF BEAUTY came up a little flat in that same event my top selection took on 5-19, but her two efforts prior to that were very strong, and she can be included.
