MEET STATS: 111 - 440 / $677.30 (-$202.70) BEST BETS: 28 - 44 / $94.70 (+$6.70) SPOT PLAYS: 4 - 43 / $38.80 (-$47.20) BEST BET - LA ALWAYS AMARTINI (3rd) SPOT PLAY - YS TALLIA (1st) Race 1 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (4) YS TALLIA makes her second start back after a freshening, drops in class, gets post relief and lures George Brennan off a Nik Drennan trainee. All those factors are positives, and I'll use. (1) INTHESKYROCKET A was fourth against NW15000L5's a week ago. She lands an inside post tonight after having outside draws in her two local tries thus far, and she was Jordan Stratton's choice. (7) ANDRA DAY lost Brennan to my top pick but gets reunited with Jason Bartlett instead and did finish up her mile well a couple weeks ago. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 2-4YO Maiden Trotters or NW12500LT Trot (2) PERFECT TITAN has struggled with breaks in his pari-mutuel starts so far, but he did stay flat when Stratton drove him at Saratoga last summer, and he returns to the bike tonight. (1) T REX BLUE CHIP starts from an inside post here after having poor draws in his last two outings, and he also adds Bartlett. (7) PRAY AND HUSTLE was fourth two back in the NW1 class at Harrah's Philadelphia, and maybe she'll find the racing here more to her liking. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (1) LA ALWAYS AMARTINI finished second in the corresponding class to this one over at Pocono in her last start and now she changes drivers to Bartlett. (2) E R HILARY has paced back-to-back 28 and change final quarters and Braxten Boyd seems to get a lot out of these Dennis Laterza trainees. (4) ALWAYS BE COOL came to life with an upset victory two weeks ago and races out of the high-percentage Jared Bako barn. Race 4 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace (6) AHOY turned in two fourth-place finishes in local appearances against $50,000 claimers. I suspect this is an easier spot, and I will hope she continues to offer value. (2) ITZPAPALOTL just missed by a nose against NW5000L5's on 6-2. She took her lifetime mark over the Yonkers oval last year and has significant post relief. (7) CYCLONE SISTER joins my top pick in exiting $50,000 claimers and was third two back against NW14000L5's at Harrah's Philadelphia. Race 5 - NW4/50000LT Trot (2) CHARLATAN HANOVER stayed flat and closed well in his second local try last Thursday and the tandem of Austin Siegelman and Nick Devita have been hot lately. (3) YUCATAN PARTY MAN owns a poor overall win record (3-for-48) but is probably destined to be favored after he rallied to finish second a week ago. (1) EXCHEQUER returns to an inside post tonight after having the seven-hole last week and was third against mixed NW4's/NW6's two back. Race 6 - F&M NW30000L5/4&5YO F&M NW12 PM Races LT Pace (1) SIESTA BEACH looks like she's back to her old self having won two straight, and I will bank on her handling another hike up the class ladder. (7) EASY TO PLEASE returns to Yonkers tonight after racing at the Meadowlands and Harrah's Philadelphia lately. She was third in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series final the last time she appeared locally. (5) REACHTHRUTHESKY AS won impressively over NW20000L5's in her first start for new connections last Thursday, and given she was racing at the Open level at Northfield, she's probably capable of racing well again tonight. Race 7 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/4&5YO F&M NW9 PM Races LT Pace (4) WESTBEACH came in second in a NW15000L5 race at Yonkers back in early May and comes back tonight after racing at Pocono in her last two tries. She had post eight last time out, so she gets some post relief here, too. (1) GINGER TREE LIZ turned in an improved effort two weeks ago when she was reunited with Bartlett and has him to drive again. (2) CHELSKI double-jumps in class out of the NW7500L5's, but she does have an inside post and often races well at Yonkers. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (4) BEST HEAD WEST wound up second after having to do the first-over work in the Open last Thursday. She has a post edge on the other logical ones in here, so I'd expect her to be on the lead this time. (7) MAJORCA N showed a new dimension of early speed a week ago and wired the field in the Open. She starts outside, but not from the eight-hole, so Stratton has some options with her. (5) DRAGON ROLL finished third in the Open last week and that's where I will slot her again. Race 9 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/4&5YO F&M NW10 PM Races LT Pace (6) JIVE DANCING A pulled off a huge upset the last time she raced in this class on 5-19, and while I wouldn't expect 74-1 again, she should offer some value. (2) GAME OF SHADOWS is a newcomer from The Meadows who was racing at their Open level. I think she'll fit well at this level and gets Bartlett to steer. (4) MILIEU HANOVER tallied over NW15000L5's two back and then was a good second in the race won by Reachthruthesky AS last Thursday.
