2026 MEET STATS: 111 - 405 / $759.08 (-$50.92) BEST BETS: 23 - 43 / $75.82 (-$10.18) SPOT PLAYS: 10 - 43 / $123.20 (+$37.20) BEST BET - SARANAC BLUE CHIP (9th) SPOT PLAY - BOILING OAR (5th) Race 1 - 40000CLM Trot (3) WARRAWEE WHISPER has had to settle for third in his last two efforts but is back in the stable where he won three straight in May, and I'll give him top call. (1) KAYS IN CHARGE takes a second crack at $40,000 claimers from the pole for the leading driver/trainer combo and won three of her four outings between 4-15 and 5-9. (2) FOR A DREAMER hasn't won yet in 2026 but finished second to a well-meant foe a week ago, and I think he can follow along and hit the board again tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW20501L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (2) MA ISABELLE came in third in a track-record mile last week and while she does take on the boys tonight, I think this should be a softer spot than that F&M Invitational. (6) MASSIVE DESIRE steps up a notch here but does so off back-to-back wins since he came in from Ohio. Co-owner Yannick Gingras has the call again for the leading stable. (5) SEA CAN finished third at this level on May 28 and Tyler Buter, who hit the board with him a couple of times at Pocono back in March, re-assumes the driving. Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot (4) B NICKING was second to a well-meant rival on 5-28 and then took on tougher NW20000L5 company last week. He drops back to face $40,000 claimers here and I'm going to hope he gets put on the front-end. (1) SKY BOX won in game fashion from first-up last week and has hit the board in five out of his last seven efforts overall. (2) JAS BLUESTONE wound up getting scratched sick on May 28 but was sharp prior to that outside of the one miscue on the 23rd of April and gets some post relief in this event. Race 4 - NW20571L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (4) FULL OF MUSCLES crossed the wire first in this class two back before he got placed second and moves in a couple of notches on the gate this time for a stable that's been very hot in June thus far. (1) THE BRODSTER steps up a notch but does so off a win and does show a triumph at this level back in late March for the leading driver/trainer combo. (2) PIERRE IN PARIS returns to Yonkers off a tally at Pocono most recently and co-owner Gingras resumes driving him. Race 5 - 25000-30000CLM HCP Pace (1) BOILING OAR looked like he had pace but nowhere to go with it in the lane last week. He moves in on the gate tonight to the pole position and hopefully a clean trip is forthcoming. (4) C-BET HANOVER has hit the board in five out of his last seven trips behind the gate and is back with familiar connections off a re-claim. (7) HEAVEN ON HIGH N hasn't been outside the exacta in his last four efforts but will have to overcome an outside post. Race 6 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) SHEIKH YABOOTY N isn't the most consistent type but she does have three recent on-the-board finishes and gets post relief this time against a fairly wide-open group. (5) SUNBURNT comes in with back-to-back runner-up results and got the nod from Jim Marohn Jr. over another one in here. (7) TH SANDRA DEE has won the last two times she's raced in this class, including a week ago. She debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. Race 7 - F&M Invitational Trot (4) ALWAYS A STORY wound up on poor cover last week and had to settle for fourth but won in this class prior to that and is capable of showing speed off the gate. (2) R LADY W was a solid second in her debut at this level a week ago and has another inside post tonight. (6) PAYBACK MONI is no doubt the one to beat off the track record effort last Thursday but does start from the outside, and I could envision where she's raced from behind like she was on May 21. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - Invitational Trot (2) GREEN PASTURES trotted a 28 second final quarter in a fourth-place finish in the Invitational last week and moves in a couple of notches on the gate tonight. He's not always the easiest to drive, but Scott Zeron knows him now and hopefully he'll be a bit closer to the front with the same kick. (5) SIR PINOCCHIO just missed after a first-over grind last Thursday and his record at Yonkers speaks for itself. (6) UP YOUR DEO kicked off his campaign with a victory in the Invitational on May 21, and trainer Ake Svanstedt comes in for the one drive here. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (1) SARANAC BLUE CHIP tallied in handy fashion in his debut for these connections last week and I see the same result ahead, especially since he moves in from post six to the pole. (3) GOTHIC ROCK partners with Bartlett again and was second to my top selection when they met a week ago. (2) SMOOTH LOU was fourth behind SARANAC BLUE CHIP and GOTHIC ROCK last Thursday and moves in a couple of slots on the gate here.
