MEET STATS: 95 - 356 / $597.10 (-$114.90)
BEST BETS: 18 - 36 / $69.60 (-$2.40)
SPOT PLAYS: 3 - 36 / $18.20 (-$53.80)
BEST BET -
GIA'S SURREAL (7th)
SPOT PLAY - WESTERN SHOWGIRL (11th)

Race 1 - North American Amateur Drivers Association Trot

(2) STEALING had back-to-back on-the-board finishes on 5-6 and 5-13, then wound up with two straight eight-holes, which hampered him from getting involved. He had much better luck at the draw this time, and I'll bank on him still being sharp. (4) MADHATTER BLUECHIP might have a touch more class than the rest of these right now based on his recent efforts, and I'd expect him to be the favorite. (6) P C FOREIGN AFFAIR has that poor win record of just four-for-143 lifetime, but he did finish pretty well in the last quarter at Monticello on June 2, gaining positions and ground.

Race 2 - NW2/25000LT / NW1 Drawn Inside Trot

(3) SHARE THE WEALTH posted a third and a second in his two starts locally in May, and Mark MacDonald drives the Ray Schnittker trainee again here. (1) YUCATAN PARTY MAN hasn't won in 14 career starts, but he has hit the board nine times, so I would definitely want to use him underneath. (4) ETHAN T HANOVER should be favored as he exits a fourth-place result in a Pennsylvania Sire Stakes division, but he did burn a bunch of money when he broke in his last start on a half in the Dexter Cup elimination at Freehold, and I'll try and beat him.

Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(6) CERTIFIED IDEAL owns plenty of wins at Yonkers in her career, and she gets to move inside a couple of notches on the gate after having post eight in both of her starts since coming over from Monticello. I'll give her a chance. (3) TOPVILLE ANGELINA was a good second from first-over when she dropped to the NW4000L5 class at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently, and she'll probably be one of the threats in here. (1) FRANSCHOEK has been the 1-2 favorite in her last two appearances but hasn't rewarded the betting public's faith in her. I'll take a stand against as a win candidate.

Race 4 - NW4/57000LT Trot

(3) SJ'S LADY LOU knows her way to the winner's circle, having scored six times out at Northfield this year. Trainer Mike Terpolilli has done nice work with Smalltownthrowdown since he came into his barn from Ohio, and perhaps that will happen again here. (2) YANKEE GIRLFRIEND finished third and second in a couple of local appearances in May and then came in third again on June 1 at Pocono. I think she is definitely usable. (4) ON A STREAK was last year's Breeders Crown 2-Year-Old Colt Trot champion, and I would assume he's here to prep for the MGM Yonkers Trot, since he's never raced on a half before. I don't think he "has" to win this race with bigger ones ahead on his schedule, and he already lost at 1-5 against NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia on the 20th of May, so he'll be another favorite I'm not on board with for win.

Race 5 - F&M NW5400L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) HIGH ROLLING A put in a good performance in this class two back, coming up just a head shy of winning, then was third in a subsequent effort against NW7500L5's. She returns to the bottom level here, and I think she's the one they'll have to beat. (5) COVEREDNDIAMONDS N double-drops from the NW10000L5's. That relief, plus a better post, might put her back in contention. (7) SHES SPORTY A ships up from Harrah's Philadelphia in solid form, with a second and three thirds in her last five starts. She could add some value in exotic wagers.

Race 6 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(4) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE scored her last win when she raced at this level on April 8, and she gets to return to it here tonight after coming in third against NW10000L5's most recently. (1) ZOE ELLASEN has returned to the East Coast after racing in Ohio and Indiana in April and May. She's been at Yonkers plenty of times, and I imagine driver Brent Holland will want her on or near the lead from the pole. (6) E R HILARY might need to drop back down to the NW5000L5's to pick up a win, but she did gain spots and ground in the final quarter in this class on May 27, and she has shown the ability to race both up front and from off-the-pace.

Race 7 - F&M NW34000L5 Pace

(1) GIA'S SURREAL exits the Open after finishing second to the razor-sharp Surreal Feeling. She wasn't George Brennan's choice in this contest, as he stuck with the Ron Burke trainee in here, but she will be my pick. (3) BRONSKIMACKENZIE A also drops out of the Open, and she might be sharper tonight since she had a gap in her schedule coming into that race. (4) SIESTA BEACH performed well through the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series, including winning one of the legs. She might need this race since she comes in with just one qualifier at Monticello, but her class might overcome the layoff.

Race 8 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(1) BETTOR TRIX N invades from Harrah's Philadelphia. She's been facing tough company since winning there on April 9, and I believe she will appreciate what should be an easier group. She also got the nod from Brennan over a Scott Di Domenico trainee. (4) ASHTINI moves inside on the gate after starting from the eight-hole on 5-27 and takes another shot against this class. (6) SHECANDANCE N drops another level after leading and fading to sixth against NW10000L5's on the 27th of May. Her one strong performance this year was from off-the-pace, so maybe we'll see those tactics employed tonight.

Race 9 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(3) SHEIKH YABOOTY N is a stablemate to Bettor Trix N and is also coming north from Harrah's Philadelphia. I've seen her race at the Meadowlands before, and she's capable of showing strong early speed, and she gets the right driver in Holland to take advantage of that ability. (5) ROCKN PHILLY has come to life in a major way since joining the Di Domenico barn last month. She won in 52 and change last time, and if she's that good again as she takes another step up in class, they probably won't be able to catch her. (7) CASIE'S BELIEVER worked out a pocket trip against NW15000L5's on May 27 but was out-finished. She slides down a notch tonight, and that might aid her cause.

Race 10 - F&M NW20350L5/30000CLM/NW10 Pace

(1) TAKE ABIT OF LIFE tallied stylishly two back and then raced well from an outside post when moved up in class on May 27. She slides all the way inside to the pole position here, and I'll bank on her taking advantage. (6) JOSSIE JAMES A comes in with very good performances in her last pair, including a second to the classy Robyn Camden last time out. She was Dan Dube's pick in this event. (4) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP gets a change in pilot tonight to leading driver Jordan Stratton. He's got a knack for waking up horses, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was closer to the pace tonight.

Race 11 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace

(3) WESTERN SHOWGIRL paced a 27 4/5 final panel on 5-27 to finish fourth. She did lose Stratton's services to another one in here, but I'll give her a chance at what should be a price. (5) SLICK ARTIST A romped to easy victories over NW7500L5's and NW10000L5's in her last pair. This is another step up in class tonight, but she should be full of confidence. (1) NORTH STAR IDEAL kept Stratton in the bike as she slides down from the NW20000L5's. She was second at this level on May 20 to the above-mentioned Jossie James A.

Race 12 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(3) TALL POPPY N joined fellow Kelvin Harrison trainees Bettor Trix N and Sheikh Yabooty N as entrants on tonight's card. This one recently had a two-race win streak, and she was Brennan's choice. (5) ANNABETH got the job done last time out against NW7500L5's, winning as the favorite. She does move up in class tonight, but this doesn't appear to be an overly strong NW10000L5. (4) CABOWABOCUTTIE hasn't won since Halloween of 2019, but she has been racking up the on-the-board finishes as of late, and you'll probably want to use in tris and supers.
