Race 1 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace

(6) HUMAN COCKTAIL faced tougher NW6 rivals over at Pocono to kick off his 4-year-old campaign and comes out of a fifth-place finish in a 1:49 2/5 mile at the five-eighths-mile oval. (4) FINAL CHEESERECIPE won in this class back on 4-25 and has closed well in grabbing a fourth and a third since that victory. (5) J B GRAM makes his fourth start out of Per Engblom's barn, and you have to think one of these times he's going to really fire.

Race 2 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot

(1) I GET IT drops out of the Invitational Trot this week and his 28 and change final quarters in his last three outings tell me he has some form. (3) HIGHLAND MOWGLI steps up tonight but does so off a victory in a NW20000L5 base class event a week ago. (4) DW'S POINT MAN also took a NW20000L5 base class tilt last Thursday and makes his third start on Lasix for trainer/driver Pat Lachance.

Race 3 - Invitational Trot

(4) TAKE ALL COMERS hasn't raced yet this year but had a solid 5-year-old campaign and avoids some of the real standouts in this class like Nows The Moment or Hillexotic. I'll trust trainer Jim Campbell has him ready off the qualifier at Harrah's Philadelphia last Tuesday and use. (2) ROYALTY BEER was second to the above-mentioned Nows The Moment in the Invitational a week ago and gets post relief this time. (5) KEG STAND is two-for-two since coming to Yonkers from the Meadowlands and gets reunited with Yannick Gingras.

Race 4 - F&M Invitational Trot

(5) TIPSY MONI returns after a closing second-place finish in the first leg of the Miss Versatility Series at the Meadowlands. She's been pretty much untouchable in this class at Yonkers outside of the one time she miscued on 4-18. (6) P L NOTSONICE has won three times in this class since April 18 but was soundly defeated by TIPSY MONI when they met on the 25th of April. I'll slot her second. (3) PARISO shows a third and a second to P L NOTSONICE at this level so far in May. She does have a post advantage on my top two selections.

Race 5 - NW20091L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot

(2) IMMANUEL K S struggled last time out in the John Brennan Trotting Series consolation, but I thought his efforts in the prelims of that event were very strong. I'll bank on Engblom having him ready to rock from this inside draw. (6) YANKS DUGOUT returns after romping at the Meadowlands and Harrah's Philadelphia in his last two outings. He was in the Invitational at Yonkers earlier this year, so he's got plenty of class to handle this sort of field if he's at his best again. (5) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS hikes up from the NW15000L5 level after a victory on May 3 and shows a second against NW20000L5 company on the 18th of April.

Race 6 - 40000CLM Trot

(5) AIRMANS JACKPOT broke last time out on May 3 but won a NW10000L5 tilt prior to that. She gets a driver switch to Gingras tonight, and trainer Travis Alexander continues to have a strong meet. (3) ALL CHAMPY has two wins and a third in his last three appearances and is probably the one the others will have to knock off if they want to find the winner's circle. (2) MAX did defeat ALL CHAMPY two back but then made a break prior to the start in a fourth-place finish a week ago. I'll toss him in underneath.

Race 7 - Amateur Race for Winners Over 1704L5/17500CLM Trot

(1) BONTONI DEGATO S got in trouble last week when he wound up wide early on and never had a shot. I have to think they'll just try and wire this group from the pole position. (3) CAL MILES N SHELL led through a well-rated tempo last Thursday but was overtaken in the stretch. I expect he'll be well-bet again, but I have to take a shot against him as he didn't appear to have an excuse for his loss a week ago. (6) BEACON BEACH returns from Freehold tonight. He was first-over for a long way at Yonkers on 5-2 but was game and just missed by a nose.

Race 8 - 40000CLM Trot

(2) FLIP THE SWITCH went off form after his third-place finish on 4-4, but he may have hinted he's turning it back around as he came home in 28 3/5 in a fourth-place result a week ago. I'll swing with him from this inside draw. (5) THE BALLYKEEL DEAL has hit the board in her last three appearances for trainer Alexander and picks up Gingras tonight with Matt Kakaley not driving on the card. (4) INN AT RODANTHE came up just a neck short of winning last Thursday in his first start for trainer Dennis Laterza and scored at this level on April 18.

Race 9 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(1) AUSSIE HANOVER finds the bottom level and gets significant post relief in his fourth start for trainer Ron Burke. I'll look for those factors to result in a victory. (2) THE REGULATOR was third in a NW7500L5 event last Thursday and drops down to face NW5000L5 company here. (6) TYPHOON BANNER N is also exiting the NW7500L5 class. He continues to draw poorly but is usable as Jenn and Joe Bongiorno have been sending out plenty of live horses.
