Race 1 - NAADA Amateur Spring Series Trot

(5) CALL ME THEFIREMAN was a solid second in this event a week ago and races for a lethal driver-trainer combo (Anthony Verruso and Symon Spicer) in the amateur races. (2) REAL MCCOY exits some tough races over at Pocono and might take advantage if things get wild up front. (8) RACEACE starts from the dreaded eight-hole but is also in sharp form with four straight on-the-board finishes. That includes a win in the NAADA Amateur Spring Series last Thursday.

Race 2 - 25000CLM Pace

(1) IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N is now with trainer Gareth Dowse, moves in from post six to the pole position, and drops a level. I'll use. (2) LYONS LIBERTY finished second last Thursday in his first appearance for trainer Hunter Oakes and gets post relief off that effort. (4) LETTUCERIPITA A won pretty handily a week ago against $25,000 claimers for the driver/trainer that took Monday night's MGM Borgata Pacing Series final (Jordan Stratton & Jeff Gillis).

Race 3 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(1) SCANDALICIOUS continues to make her way down the class ladder tonight, and this is usually about the spot where she tends to head in the right direction. (2) CASH ROLL comes in with two straight third-place finishes at this level at Yonkers and the Meadowlands. She gets to move in from post seven to the two-hole tonight. (4) PURE COTTON won a qualifier here on April 15 and was second against NW7500L5's in her last start of 2021 before heading to the bench.

Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(8) ANGELS FOLLY finished third to the impressive Yanaba on 4-15 at the Meadowlands, and you can see the astronomical driving/training percentages Trond Smedshammer has at Yonkers so far this year. (2) JBN broke his maiden down at Harrah's Philadelphia on April 22 and races out of the high-percentage Nik Drennan barn. Seems like the added trotting hobbles this year have helped him. (3) QUINNPATRICKSHEA aimed pretty high in the Weiss Series at Pocono last time out and had to settle for fifth, but she was second against NW1's at Harrah's Philadelphia prior to that.

Race 5 - F&M NW21990L5/30000CLM/NW10 PM Races LT Pace

(1) SIESTA BEACH performed pretty well in the first leg of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series, but then something went wrong in the second round. She qualified back fine at Monticello last week, and given her success at this oval before, I have to give her a shot. (5) STAR CAPTAIN is moving up a notch but doing so off three straight victories. She's another possible winner for Drennan. (2) DBLDELITEBRIGADE N was second against NW30000L5 base class rivals the last time she was at Yonkers on March 10 and has been facing stout foes over at the Meadowlands.

Race 6 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(6) ALWAYS BE COOL gives the bottom level a third try for Jared Bako. She's hit the board in both of her chances thus far, and driver Austin Siegelman might be looking to take advantage of a chance to drive for the high-percentage barn. (2) WALTZWITHSIERRA A turned in her best effort so far in 2022 when she slid down to this class a week ago and starts from an inside post. (4) ROCKNROLL SHELLI is bound to get noticed as she debuts for Jenn Bongiorno and picks up leading driver Jason Bartlett.

Race 7 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(4) FIGHTING EVIL just missed in this class a few times back in February and March and gets reunited with Tyler Buter. (6) GINGER TREE LIZ has three wins and two thirds in her last five starts and has Bartlett to drive again. (1) JIVE DANCING A shows two straight sub 28 second final quarter and is always capable of switching tactics back to racing on the front.

Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Trot

(2) CELEBRATE WITH ME miscued in her Yonkers debut last Thursday. That looks like it was out of character for her, and I'll expect trainer Ron Burke to have her back on the right foot tonight. She might offer a little better price, too. (8) HEY LIVVY has won three times in this class when she hasn't made a break, and post eight was no issue for her on March 24. (5) KENZIESKY HANOVER tallied at this level on 4-7 and is definitely capable of rebounding from her fourth-place result on April 14.

Race 9 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(2) LA BELLA VITA N tallied over NW30000L5's as recently as Feburary 10 and gets reunited with Marcus Miller tonight after finishing second in the corresponding class to this one over at Pocono most recently. (3) WESTERN WISH didn't have much success in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series and was defeated at 3-5 against NW10500L5's at the Meadowlands on 4-8. I'll try and beat her. (5) SHELLIE DE VIE slides down out of the NW15000L5's and trainer Paul Fusco sent out a longshot winner a week ago.

Race 10 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(4) BRING ME DIAMONDS owns no wins in the last two years but was second against NW9000L5's at Pocono on March 27 and hooks back up with Marcus Miller here. I'll give her a chance against this field that lacks any killers. (5) CHECKERED PAST gained spots and ground in the back-half of her mile a week ago and gets a second crack against NW5000L5's. (2) SHECANDANCE N finished a rallying third in the same race Checkered Past comes out of and has Stratton to steer her again.
