Race 1 - 25000CLM Pace

(5) MAJOR DESIRE closed with some pace in the final quarter last week in his first try at this level. Tonight he gets an improved post to work with and another chance with Yannick Gingras in the bike. (2) FLOW WITH JOE has an inside draw for the first time since back in early March and showed the ability to finish a rallying third against $30,000 claimers two back. (1) ARRHYTHMIC SURGE is making his 2024 pari-mutuel debut in this event. He qualified well down at Freehold on 4-19 and was racing in higher classes than this at the end of last year.

Race 2 - Invitational Trot

(3) HILLEXOTIC got the job done in his first try of the year last Thursday and I expect him to only improve with that race under his belt. (6) NOWS THE MOMENT didn't threaten a week ago after he took back and raced from off-the-pace. He's a known commodity in this class and is going to get a new driver with Jordan Stratton taking the call. (2) I GET IT drew well again and owns a win at this level back on 3-28.

Race 3 - NW20000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot

(3) B NICKING gets a drop and a slightly better post to work with tonight. He was a gaining fourth in a NW30000L5 event a week ago. (1) BLACK TIE BASH exits the John Brennan Trotting Series and starts from the pole after having the six-hole and seven-hole in his last two tries. The last time he drew inside on 3-22, he was victorious. (4) JULA MUSCLE PACK is riding a two-race win streak. Those did come at lower levels, but he also shows hitting the board against NW30000L5 rivals back in mid-February.

Race 4 - F&M Invitational Trot

(2) TIPSY MONI miscued before the start last week and disappointed as the favorite. That break was out of character for her, so I will look for her to bounce right back, especially since she gets to start from the inside and normally when she races in this class she has a poor post. (1) PERFECT VIXEN has hit the board in six of her last seven outings, including a third, a win and a second in three efforts at this level. (4) P L NOTSONICE took advantage of TIPSY MONI's mistake and put in a solid effort to win the F&M Invitational Trot a week ago. I'll include underneath tonight.

Race 5 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace

(2) BIG DREAM FELLA finished out his mile well in his last appearance on 4-4 and had a two-race win streak in this class in March. (1) FINAL CHEESERECIPE rallied and came up just half a length short of the winner in his first effort at this level last Thursday. He continues to draw well, too, and I'll include. (3) URIEL BLUE CHIP was third in the same tilt that FINAL CHEESERECIPE exits and gets post relief off that performance.

Race 6 - NAADA Amateur Spring Series Leg #7 Trot

(4) BACARDI tallied two back at Freehold, and although he wasn't a factor in the amateur tilt at Yonkers last Thursday, I'm going to bank on him getting a more aggressive drive tonight with a switch to Tony Beltrami. (3) ALLINDOTIME didn't threaten in an amateur race last week but gets significant post relief here and has won three times in his last seven trips behind the gate. (2) WINNERESS is another horse getting to slide in on the gate after a pair of outside draws both here at Yonkers and over at Monticello.

Race 7 - 40000CLM Trot

(6) STEUBEN HANOVER moves out on the gate a bit here but closed with plenty of trot last week in his first try for trainer Travis Alexander and has had plenty of success in this class through 2024. (4) INN AT RODANTHE was the winner in the same race my top selection comes out of. He hadn't tallied yet this year before that, so he should have renewed confidence. (1) HOMER HALL comes in from Pocono with a couple of on-the-board efforts in three starts and has an inside post after departing from mid-pack or the outside over there.

Race 8 - NAADA Amateur Spring Series Leg #7 Trot

(4) SHOEMAKER HANOVER dominated on the front-end at Freehold last Saturday (April 20), making him two-for-two in the win column this year when he hasn't been saddled with an outside draw. (1) RACEACE is riding a five-race streak of top-three finishes and drew the pole position tonight after having back-to-back seven-holes at Monticello. (3) ALL RISE also romped on the lead at Freehold in a separate amateur division on 4-20. He should be sharper here as that was his first pari-mutuel try of 2024.

Race 9 - 40000CLM Trot

(5) ALL CHAMPY makes his third start back after the layoff tonight, and I'm going to bank on him being ready to fire. He had an excellent campaign last year that included several wins at much higher levels than this. (1) THE BALLYKEEL DEAL gets some post relief in her second attempt in this class and was a winner at Yonkers in late March. (8) BLUEBIRD BISHOP drew the eight-hole but is exiting the John Brennan Trotting Series and is a second-time starter out of Per Engblom's barn.

Race 10 - 30000CLM Pace

(2) NOWHERE CREEK A exits back-to-back post eight starts here, and he also had bad draws twice in March. The one he had a good post on 4-1, he was a closing third in this class. (3) KERFORD ROAD A is the current ruler of this level as he has three straight victories and drew inside again tonight. (5) PAT STANLEY N has a pair of tallies of his own against $30,000 claimers, sandwiched around a third-place result on April 4. He's definitely usable.
