Race 1 - NW7500L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(3) SPEED MAN N won handily over NW5000L5 foes from the eight-hole a couple of weeks ago. He moves inside on the gate here and partners with Jason Bartlett again. (2) KINGSVILLE also comes in off a victory over bottom level company last Thursday and was third in a NW7500L5 tilt prior to that. (4) MASONS DELIGHT N landed post three after he had the seven-hole most recently and gets a chance with Yannick Gingras in the bike. While he didn't threaten, when he faced NW7500L5's two back he did have a solid final quarter.

Race 2 - Invitational Trot
I don't know what happened to (6) BENJAMIN HANOVER last time, but it was completely out of character for how he had been racing. I'll look for him to bounce back tonight and use on top. (4) SOUTHWIND COORS closed well in a fourth-place finish from the eight-hole in the Invitational on 3-13 and drew well tonight. (5) TIPSY MONI is now six-for-six in the win column in 2025 and enters off a victory in that same Invitational that my top two picks exit.

Race 3 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(4) LYONS BENJAMIN drops out of the age-restricted $30,000 claiming class and also has an inside post for the first time in a bit here. (5) RICARDOSHILYSHALLY came up just a neck short of victory two back and then overcame the eight-hole to get a fourth a couple weeks ago. (1) HURRIKANE HUNTER has been off since last September but starts from the pole, won his second qualifier over the oval and teams up with Bartlett.
Race 4 - NW22251L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot
(8) RESOLVE TO WIN will have to overcome the eight-hole but comes in off two easy wins out of town and kept Bartlett over a Per Engblom trainee. (5) SEA CAN rallied to a win in a NW15000L5 tilt last week in his first start after a layoff. He moves inside a couple of slots on the gate tonight. (3) I GET IT gets post relief this time and had a recent four-race streak of hitting the board in this class.
Race 5 - NAADA Spring Fling Series Leg #2 Trot
(1) BEERTHIRTY K made a break before the start and lost all chance a week ago but I'll go back to him here as hopefully he'll offer a better price and he's also been competitive against tougher foes than his rivals in this race have been. (2) ALEXANDER cut the mile and wound up second to a sharp foe in his division of this series last Thursday. He drew inside again and teams up with Tony Beltrami again. (4) LOVE THIS BAR went a big trip in winning a MADC test at the Meadowlands on Saturday. He returns on short rest but should be fine as long as that effort didn't take too much out of him.
Race 6 - NAADA Spring Fling Series Leg #2 Trot
(2) ALL RISE has an inside post here for the first time since January. I expect he'll be handled aggressively, and I think this is a field he can wire. (8) PSALMSFORTYSIXFIVE starts from the eight-hole but was a solid third from a poor draw last Thursday, and I'll include. (6) LIONHEAD closed well in a second-place effort at the Meadowlands most recently and also shows a runner-up result at Yonkers last month.
Race 7 - 40000CLM Trot
(2) WILLY WALTON looks like he might have tailed off since earlier this year when he was the king of this class, but he drew well again and faces a pretty wide-open looking group. (5) EMBRACE THE FUTURE has probably been facing tougher in her last two tries and also had the seven-hole in both attempts. (1) MAHONE SEELSTER slides in from post four to the pole position and tallied at this level two back.
Race 8 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace
(8) MUSIC HALL scored the last two times he was in this class. He does move out on the gate from the pole but has experience racing out of the eight-hole and gets a driver switch to Gingras. (3) TWIGGS PUB is currently going through a case of seconditis as he's been the runner-up in three straight and shows two other seconds back on 1-30 and 2-6. I'll slot him in that spot again in this tilt. (2) CAUGHTINALANDSLIDE didn't really threaten when last seen on March 17 but has been in the trifecta in five of his last seven attempts overall and gets post relief.
Race 9 - 40000CLM Trot
(1) AUSTRAL HANOVER shows a victory in this class back on 2-20 and has an inside post for the first time in his lines. (2) AIRMANS JACKPOT is on a five-race streak of finishes in the exacta and drew well again tonight. (3) EPOS OSTERVANG DK didn't fire in his last try on March 14 but I think the $40,000 claimers may be slightly softer than the NW15000L5's and he was first and second in a couple of tries in February.

Race 10 - NW5000L5 who are NW Last 3 Starts / 12500CLM Pace
(8) PURPLE POET finds the bottom level here against a bunch of horses who have been stuck against NW5000L5's for several starts and I'll hope he's put in play from post eight. (4) AROUND MIDNIGHT was third in this class two back and closed out his mile in 28 and change last week. (2) CYRUS N was third in his second shot against NW5000L5's last week and is a big favorite on the morning line, but he's not a short I can take a short price on.
Race 11 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(1) MAN RAY invades from The Meadows and is now with trainer Cory Stratton. That stable is having an excellent meet, and I think he was facing tougher competition out of town. (4) THAT DOG WILL HUNT remains in tremendous form and hasn't missed the board in a long time. He's back with trainer Dennis Laterza off another claim here and just missed by a nose in one start for him on 2-20. (2) KINGSTON PANIC returns to action here after a layoff. His qualifier over the oval was fine and he won at this level in his last appearance of 2024 at Yonkers.
