MEET STATS: 46 - 180 / $229.80 (-$130.20) BEST BETS: 11 - 19 / $37.10 (-$0.90) SPOT PLAYS: 1 - 18 / $5.50 (-$30.50) BEST BET-VIOLETS RAINBOW (2nd) SPOT PLAY-MAJOR BATTLE (5th) Race 1 - F&M NW5751L5/12500CLM Pace (8) SHADY MADAM starts from the outside post, but she slides down to the bottom level in her third start out of the high-percentage Jeff Gillis barn and kept Jason Bartlett in the bike again. (3) PRAY THE ROSARY also moves down in class again tonight and showed the ability to finish third against NW10000L5's recently. She also gets reunited with Austin Siegelman. (4) NUTTINBUTHEBEST has been off-form lately, but this is by far the easiest spot she's been in on her page, and I could easily see her turning it around. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M NW15750L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Pace (2) VIOLETS RAINBOW held off Easy To Please to win in this class on 3-10, and that rival came back to take a division of the opening leg of the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series, really making that a standout victory. (3) WESTBEACH woke up in a big way two weeks ago when she got to partner with Bartlett for the first time, and he has the call again here. Trainer Lance Hudson is sending out many live horses right now to boot. (5) FIGHTING EVIL is pretty sharp with on-the-board results in four of her last five outings. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - NW4/50000LT / NW2/25000LT Drawn Inside Trot (4) YUCATAN PARTY MAN went almost all the way on the lead a week ago before getting collared late. That was a strong effort, and he drew well again tonight. (3) LOVE THIS BAR rallied to finish second in the NW4 class over at Pocono on March 6. He was driven by Matt Kakaley on that occasion, and Kakaley is in the bike again here. (7) TRAIN made his way up to the NW5 level at Harrah's Philadelphia to end his 3-year-old campaign and came back with a strong qualifier at Pocono on March 9. I'll toss him in the mix. Race 4 - NW6/75000LT / NW4/50000LT Drawn Inside Trot (1) SOUTHERN SWAN MAN qualified well at the Meadowlands on March 11 and was in good form here at Yonkers to conclude 2021. I'll hope that he's live and use from the pole. (3) GRAFENBERG has gained spots and ground in the last quarters of his last two races and got the nod from George Brennan over a horse he won two straight races with. (6) SEVENSHADESOFGREY enters with two consecutive victories. This is the one that Brennan hopped of off, but he gets a quality replacement in Jordan Stratton. Race 5 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 PM Races LT/NW25501L5 Drawn Outside Pace (3) MAJOR BATTLE couldn't get involved from an outside post against NW30000L5's a week ago, but she gets to drop and move inside on the gate here. She usually gives a good account of herself, and I'll swing. (5) GOLDEN QUEST N raced very well to finish second last Thursday in the same race my top pick exits. (6) MAGICAL MISTRESS was third in that common race with Major Battle and Golden Quest N last week and has been knocking on the door for Brennan and trainer Ron Burke. Race 6 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (1) FIRSTUP was a gaining fourth when she dropped down to this class last week. Tonight, she gets to move inside from post seven to the pole. (4) A CRAFTY LADY is also making her second appearance against NW5000L5's, and trainer Gil Garcia-Herrera's horses seem to be getting a little better each week. (3) PAIGE'S GIRL looks like the one they'll have to beat as she exits the NW7500L5's and has the Bartlett/Hudson driver/trainer combo in her corner. She also has significant post relief. Race 7 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace (4) MONICA GALLAGHER hasn't been a win machine over the last couple of years, but she drops out of the NW10000L5's and moves in from post eight to four tonight. She also catches a pretty soft group. (1) CORSINI A has shown the ability to hit the board both at this level and against NW10000L5's and drew another inside post. (5) WALTZWITHSIERRA A was unable to find the winner's circle during her initial U.S. campaign in 2021. She did come close a number of times, though, and got the nod from Jordan Stratton tonight. Race 8 - F&M Open Trot (4) NO MAS DRAMA owns two seconds and a win so far in 2022 and looks like she exits the best races out of these. (1) GREY just missed in a $75,000 claimer and gets to start from the pole with the wicked early speed she's capable of showing. (8) HEY LIVVY can certainly win this race, even from post eight, but I think she's likely to take a lot of money and did break stride two starts back. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 9 - F&M NW1500L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Pace (4) TECHYS ANGEL A captured a Group 1 race in Australia on April 4 of last year, and I like that 27 4/5 final quarter she showed in her local qualifier on 3-11. This is another Lance Hudson trainee on the card, and I believe this is a very weak NW15000L5 event. I'll give her a shot. (6) CASH ROLL was third a couple weeks ago against tougher NW15000L5 foes than she meets here. (2) JIVE DANCING A turned in a solid second-place effort against NW10000L5's last Thursday and offsets the class hike by moving inside on the gate. Race 10 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (6) SHEIKH YABOOTY N merits another chance from me tonight, as I thought she finished with late interest from off-the-pace against NW15000L5 a week ago. (4) JOSSIE JAMES A is one of the Garcia-Herrera trainees who has really found her form, first with a second-place result on 3-10 and then a romping victory last Thursday. (2) TEAM KIWI N enters this event with two straight runner-up results and drew inside again.
