He gained some ground in the final quarter last Thursday in his comeback, and I'll give him a shot. (1) WICKENBURGH finished second last week in a mixed NW4/NW6 race and faces straight NW4's this time. He was victorious at this level two back. (2) THEWALLOFLOVE AS moves from the eight-hole to post two and has been reliably hitting the board outside of the one miscue on January 19. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot (5) TIMESTORM has three wins in his last four appearances at this level and returns to it here after racing in the Open in his last two outings. (2) GEMOLOGIST is two-for-two since being re-claimed by Nick Devita in late January and drew inside again to use that strong early speed he has. (1) KENZIESKY HANOVER takes a third crack at this class after finishing second to a well-meant winner two weeks ago. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW7681L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace (7) ROCKNROLL ANNIE gets another class drop tonight after finishing third in her last two starts against NW15000L5's and then NW10000L5's. Trainer Ricky Bucci has been sending out a lot of live horses lately, and hopefully she's another one. (1) DBLDELITEBRIGADE N didn't have great cover in her comeback a week ago but did gain ground. She moves in from post five to the pole position. (4) PULL ME THROUGH turned in an improved effort to grab a third at this level last Thursday. Race 4 - NW7/75000LT Trot (4) TACHYON comes into this race with two straight impressive victories for the Bucci barn, and I anticipate he'll make it three. (3) SOUTHWIND ARTURO steps up from the NW4 level but has been very sharp since they put the trotting hobbles on in the January 18 qualifier. (1) SWAN FLYER was unable to hold on as a heavy favorite in his initial start of 2023 at Dover on 2-21. He gets a chance with co-owner Yannick Gingras in the bike for the first time.  Race 5 - NW15783L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/NW9 PM Races LT Trot (2) VALI HANOVER didn't have much chance last time out at Dover as he was in their top class and had post eight. He had won two straight before that, though, has prevailed at Yonkers before, and gets reunited with Gingras. (1) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN came up just a head short of a victory in a NW20000L5 base class tilt a week ago and gets to drop down another notch on the ladder tonight. (4) NO MAS DRAMA trotted from tenth to fourth in the final quarter of her race at the Meadowlands on 2-18 and makes her second start back after a layoff tonight. Race 6 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (3) BOTTOMOFTHENINTH faces bottom level mares for a third time and landed an inside post after having outside draws in her three tries last month. I will take a shot with her. (5) TRIZZLE TRAZZLE returns from Dover tonight and came up just a neck short of defeating NW7500L5's the last time she appeared locally. (2) WOODMERE JAZZ was a solid second last Thursday and picks up Joe Bongiorno in the bike here. Race 7 - Open Handicap Trot (4) HL REVADON wound up having to work hard to get to the front on 2-16 and paid the price in the stretch. He has the post edge tonight over (5) NOWS THE MOMENT, and hopefully he can work it to his advantage. For his part, NOWS THE MOMENT has won two straight races and just missed equaling the track record on February 9. (2) HEY LIVVY looked a little unsettled on the front-end a week ago and wound up getting overtaken in the stretch. She'll likely get to race from off the speed tonight. Race 8 - F&M NW10816L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace (2) MCMARKLE SPARKLE double-drops out of the NW20000L5 class tonight, and I anticipate that will result in a wake-up call. She also gets post relief, which should only help. (1) THE PANTHEIST A comes in from the Meadowlands with back-to-back runner-up finishes, including a sharp, closing effort in her last try. (6) WESTBEACH makes her second start back after a layoff tonight, and I could see her improving off her fourth-place finish last Thursday. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - NW2/34838LT Trot (1) EEE Z WOW put together a nice 2-year-old campaign with a record of 3-2-0 from five starts and qualified back fine at Pocono behind an older foe. I'll swing with her from the pole. (6) LADYFLIX and (2) B THREEWINDS both have similar profiles as they get to drop out of the NW4 class because of the expanded lifetime earnings cap this race has. LADYFLIX gets reunited with Bartlett, who guided her to a win back on December 22. Race 10 - F&M NW5979L5/12500CLM Pace I'm going to give (3) SMOOTH DEBATE N another chance tonight as she should offer a better price than she did on 2-16, and I think she's going to switch back to the off-the-pace style that she was employing before her second-place effort.  (1) SOMESWEETSOMEWHERE should appreciate getting to face bottom level mares instead of NW4/NW6 types and also has post relief to go with it. (2) NITE TIME DEAL makes her second start back after a layoff and drops a level.
