(1) INDICTABLE HANOVER rallied from fourth to second in the final quarter of the same NW7500L5 tilt last week and has post one again here. (3) BUCHANNON HANOVER exits a NW7500L5 dash on 1-24 and did win in a similar class to this one at Freehold prior to that. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace (2) HIGH ON ROCKNROLL finished his mile with pace last week when he switched to this class. He has post relief and a driver switch to Jason Bartlett tonight. (5) ODDS ON PICK SIX cut the fractions and was second at this level on 1-25. That was his first start in a little over a month, so he could be sharper here. (4) YS DO IT RIGHT was second to a well-meant and dominant winner a week ago. He was Jordan Stratton's choice of two in this test. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot (3) DOO WOP KID has two wins and a second in his last three tries over at Monticello. He won at this level at Yonkers in mid-October of last year and picks up Yannick Gingras in the bike tonight. (1) ABBEY D was in a tough class and had a bad post on 1-31. She is in a more reasonable spot, has the pole and reunites with Brennan here. (7) FOR A DREAMER drops out of the NW30000L5/optional $60,000 claiming level here and trainer Nick Devita is off to a fast start to the meet. Race 4 - Invitational Trot (3) ROYALTY BEER came up just a neck short of winning in this class last Thursday and doesn't have to meet up with Nows The Moment, who has won two straight editions of the Invitational Trot, this time. (4) YANKS DUGOUT improved to two-for-two in 2024 with a win over NW30000L5's a week ago and is capable of handling another step up the ladder tonight. (2) CREDIT CON has hit the board in all three of his outings thus far in 2024, topped by a tally in the Open Handicap out at The Meadows on 1-12. Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot (1) STEUBEN HANOVER rebounded from a fading effort on 1-25 with a solid second-place finish a week ago. He has the pole again and meets up with a beatable group. (3) PIVOTAL scored in this class last Thursday and could be sharper tonight as that was his first start since early December. (2) IN MY DREAMS goes for new connections off a claim here. His last couple of efforts have been dull but showed the ability to perform well at this level on a consistent basis in November and December. Race 6 - 40000CLM Trot (1) NEWSBOY posted a win and then a third in this class to start his 6-year-old season and got claimed out his last try by Devita. He also gets Bartlett back in the bike tonight. (3) BRAVE BY DESIGN stopped last week but was claimed by another hot barn in Travis Alexander and has raced well at this level before. He adds Gingras's services here. (2) SHEENA SOLDIER was a closing second a week ago in an improved effort and moves inside on the gate off that performance. Race 7 - NW20001L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot (7) ABRUZZO slides down from the NW30000L5 class, and although he drew poorly, he was Gingras's choice and hails from a barn that's sending out lots of live horses. (6) PAPA DOC was third against tougher foes on January 31 and had a two-race win streak at Yonkers back in December. (3) EMOTIONS RICHES is moving up in class, but has back-to-back romping victories over $40,000 claiming company. Joe Bongiorno picked up the drive. Race 8 - F&M Invitational Trot (3) NO MAS DRAMA was a regular in the Open Handicap and also this top F&M class to close out her 6-year-old season. She makes her first start of 2024 here off a qualifier down at Freehold where she finished up well, and I'll swing. (2) NO TURNING BACK held on gamely to win the F&M Open Trot last Thursday. She has a driver switch to Bartlett here. (4) TIPSY MONI has made breaks in her last couple of pari-mutuel tries but was on a three-race win streak at Yonkers before the miscues and co-owner Gingras is in the bike. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9 - 30000CLM Pace (2) ITALIAN DELIGHT N keeps racking up victories and since he drew inside again tonight against another beatable field, I'll go ahead and put him on top. (1) SULLIVAN wound up parked out last Thursday and faded. He switches to the pole position tonight, and I usually take showing speed, even if the horse winds up getting left out, as a positive sign. (4) CHIEFS BEACH gained to finish second to ITALIAN DELIGHT N in a $30,000 claiming event a week ago.
