Race 1 - NAADA Winter Fun Series Leg 3 Trot
(5) PETER'S ROYALTY broke before the start on 1-23 but took a good deal of wagering support. He won over the half-mile oval at Freehold on 11-22 and gets a driver change to Tony Beltrami here. (2) LIONHEAD returns to Yonkers off a second-place result at the Meadowlands last Friday. He had the six-hole at Yonkers on January 23, so he starts from a much better post compared to that. (3) FASHION FOREVER has been out of the top three just once in his last seven outings, and that was from a tough draw.

Race 2 - F&M Invitational Trot
(5) DIAMANTE TRIO IT did well in this class a year ago and has both a qualifier and a start under her belt in 2025. (6) ALL STAR SWAN just missed by a head against open company last Thursday and faces only mares here. She had also been off for over a month coming into that try. (4) ENOLA finished ahead of my top pick in their common race on 1-31 and picks up Jason Bartlett in the bike.

Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot
(7) BE DIFFERENT saw his win streak in this class end a week ago, but I think the top two in that race were tougher foes than he faces here. I also think he could offer some added value coming off the defeat and starting from a poor post. (5) PC FREE WHEELING has been victorious in three of her last four apperances at this level. She loses Bartlett tonight to my top pick but gets Yannick Gingras instead. (6) ROGER RABBIT hasn't won in a while but continues to rack up underneath results, and that's where I'll slot him again this time.
Race 4 - 40000CLM Trot
(4) AUSTRAL HANOVER closed well in a second-place finish last week. That was his first outing in over a month and he had some success in this class in October of 2024. (7) WILLY WALTON has romped to consecutive victories and is probably the one they have to beat. He packs strong gate speed, so the post isn't a concern, and he debuts for new connections off a claim. (5) WARRIOR ONE was second to WILLY WALTON a week ago and crossed the finish line first before being placed due to interference in his start prior to that.
Race 5 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(8) BALLYKEEL PAINTER starts from the outside but makes his second start for Travis Alexander, and horses often improve from his barn after they've had one appearance. He also catches a wide-open field. (1) ODDS ON LIQUIDITY was victorious at Dover on 1-30 and I can overlook his off-the-board effort in a subsequent try as it was from post eight. He landed the pole here and was Jim Marohn Jr.'s choice. (3) JOHN THE BAPTIST overcame interference before the top of the stretch to finish a gaining second a week ago. He should be sharper this time as that was his first effort since mid-December.
Race 6 - NAADA Winter Fun Series Leg 3 Trot
(6) SHOEMAKER HANOVER moves out on the gate this time, but I thought he was good in his first effort of 2025 last week, especially since he had some traffic trouble in the lane. That start should have him tightened up, and I'll swing with him. (2) HOBBS hit the board in this series two back and had no shot from the eight-hole last Thursday. He drew well here, and that should put him back in contention. (1) LOVE THIS BAR had to settle for third as the favorite a week ago. I'll take a stand against as he took quite a while to get into gear in that effort, and I think he'll be the chalk again, but I respect his chances.
Race 7 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(2) STRIKING IMPACT qualified fine over the oval on 1-24 and although he hasn't been seen in a pari-mutuel race since early March of 2024, he was facing tougher foes when he went to the sidelines. He also gets Matt Kakaley back in the bike. (5) SOUTH POINT is red-hot right now and gets to partner with Bartlett for new connections off a claim. (1) CLEVELAND B MIKI starts from post one and was able to get around a breaking leader on the last turn a week ago to get a long-awaited victory.

Race 8 - NW5000L5 who are NW L3 Starts / 12500CLM Pace
(2) THEBEAUDENBLUES N tallied the last time he faced NW5000L5 foes at Yonkers back in late November and had no chance on 1-18 at the Meadowlands from a bad draw. He departs from post two this time, gets reunited with Steve Smith, and closed in 27 and change two back at The Big M. (7) BETTOR B SIRIUS was Bartlett's choice in this race, which I respect. This is the first time he will drive him, and the horse is making his third start on Lasix for a stable that's hot thus far at the meet. (1) CALIBER drew the pole position and drops to the bottom level off a fifth-place result against NW7500L5's at Yonkers on January 28.
Race 9 - NW20000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM/NW30000L5 Draw Outside Trot
(4) SOUTHWIND COORS was in the Inviational in one effort at Yonkers on 12-19 and romped at the Meadowlands in his first outing of 2025. He gets Gingras in the bike for the first time for trainer Ron Burke here. (6) CANTSTOP YANKEE hasn't raced yet this year but was in the Invitational in his final three appearances of 2024, so he returns at a softer level. (2) I GET IT gained some ground in the final quarter of his mile last week and slides in on the gate from post seven to the two-hole.
Race 10 - 40000CLM Trot
(3) WARRAWEE XALT posted a solid second-place finish behind a heavy favorite in a NW10000L5 race on 1-24 and I think he's in against a bit softer company tonight. (1) THE PRINCE has a second and win since coming to Yonkers and joining this class. He also starts from post one for the Gingras/Burke combo. (6) JULA MUSCLE PACK was fifth in his comeback outing last Thursday and I could see improvement coming here.
Race 11 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(3) MANHATTAN ARTIST appeared strong on the lead last week but broke on the last turn. I think that'll boost his price tonight, as will that Bartlett hopped off. (4) THAT DOG WILL HUNT has been sharp for a long time and has won both of his starts thus far in 2025. He was Bartlett's choice for new connections off a claim. (7) MONACO HANOVER held third despite a first-over trip and getting bothered by MANHATTAN ARTIST when he broke last Thursday.
