This is 2022's last analysis for Yonkers Raceway. Thanks to everybody for following along this year and Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
Race 1 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace
(6) PULL ME THROUGH takes a big drop in class from NW6's to the bottom level and hopefully that can help her get her second victory of 2022. (3) MONEYMAKEHERSMILE appears against NW5000L5's for the second straight time and finished a gaining third back on 12-8. (2) BROOKDALE JESSIE picked some spots in the back-half of her race on December 8 and moves way inside on the gate tonight.

Race 2 - Open Handicap Trot
(5) STORMY KROMER returns to Yonkers after winning in Harrah's Philadelphia's top class most recently and is a proven commodity at the Open level here. (2) NOWS THE MOMENT has been superb in his last two attempts against NW30000L5's and gives the Open class another shot tonight. (3) HL REVADON crunched his foes in the Open Handicap at Dover on 11-22 but has been idle since then. He does get co-owner Yannick Gingras to come in and drive for trainer Ron Burke.

Race 3 - F&M NW10732L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace
(3) SHECANDANCE N has hit the board in all of her starts since coming into Per Engblom's barn and slides down from the $50,000 claimers to an optional $20,000 claimer tonight. (4) TECHYS ANGEL A continues to work her way down the class ladder but needs to get back to performing like she did in those second-place finishes at Pocono on 11-7 or here on October 6. (2) ALWAYS B MIMI finished fourth at this level last Thursday and gets to move in a couple of notches on the gate this week.
Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot
(6) THEWALLOFLOVE AS is a 2-year-old taking on older foes here but is clearly the sharpest horse in the field, and Scott Zeron has driven her before. (4) LADYFLIX makes her third start on Lasix and for trainer Sofia Zingale tonight. She was a good second most recently at Freehold and romped in a NW2 race at Flamboro Downs in Ontario back in late October. (2) SQUABLE normally offers some value and has shown the capability to hit the ticket in this class at times.
Race 5 - NW4/50000LT Trot
(7) KENOGAMI REBEL debuts for trainer Ron Burke here. He hasn't made a pari-mutuel start since back in October at Woodbine Mohawk Park but won that race and qualified well enough behind pacers at Yonkers on 12-9. He also gets Gingras to drive. (6) THE AMERICAN EAGLE owns a win and a second since Per Engblom took over training him and doesn't have to start from post eight this time. (1) SOUTHWIND ARTURO made a first-over move to get into contention last Thursday but made a break on the final turn. Jordan Stratton should know him better tonight, and I wouldn't be surprised if he performed better.
Race 6 - NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Trot
(7) SHARE THE WEALTH went a long way on the lead before getting caught in the stretch last Thursday and gets Gingras to drive for the first time tonight. (4) HAT TRICK MARLEAU has been knocking on the door in this class and didn't have a great trip a week ago as he had to do the first-over work in the wind and rain. (8) PAPPARDELLE is two-for-two since coming in from Ohio but moves out to post eight tonight. With Joe Bongiorno not here, Jason Bartlett has the call.
Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Trot
(7) REFINED rallied well to finish second last Thursday, and after employing those tactics, I am going to hope that she's handled more aggressively tonight (like she was on 12-8) and give her the nod. (6) HEY LIVVY cleared to the front in the third quarter a week ago and held sway from there to get the job done. She won two straight editions of this class in on 11-17 and 12-1 and could definitely do the same thing here. (5) KENZIESKY HANOVER rebounded from an uncharacteristic break in stride on December 8 to come in third last week, and that's where I'll slot her tonight.
Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Pace
(2) CHASE LOUNGE doesn't face the top mares on the continent like she did through most of the fall and finished a closing third in the Open at Dover two back. Gingras hasn't driven her for Burke before but will here. (5) DELITFULCATHERIN N took advantage of a chance to face NW30000L5 base class foes on 12-16 and jogged. She's won several local editions of the Open this year and kept Jordan Stratton. (6) LIT DE ROSE enters on a four race win streak but does move to an outside post, and I will take a chance at beating her.

Race 9 - NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Trot
(8) LEXUS KODY scored impressively in the corresponding class to this one at the Meadowlands on 11-12 and maybe he'll offer some value here given he has just the one qualifier since and drew the eight-hole. Gingras goes back in the bike, too. (6) SWANSEA finished third against NW20000L5 base class foes at Yonkers on November 17 and owns a very good history over the oval. (2) STREET GOSSIP has been lighting his share of money on fire lately as he hasn't been able to get the job done as the favorite in his last three attempts. I'll use but only underneath.
Race 10 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace
(3) LAURIE LEE grabbed a fourth against $50,000 claimers the last time she drew inside on 11-22 and faces much easier company than that tonight. (2) SEZANA N had to do the first-over work in a pace-less race on December 8 and wound up fifth. She slides down a notch on the class ladder here, moves inside on the gate, and kept Braxten Boyd over others. (4) STELLENBOSCH was third against NW7500L5's two and three starts back and switches drivers to Bartlett.
