MEET STATS: 210 - 666 / $1,281.40 (-$50.60) BEST BETS: 38 - 69 / $134.20 (-$3.80) SPOT PLAYS: 13 - 69 / $96.60 (-$41.40) BEST BET-FATHER DUNN (2nd) SPOT PLAY-BULLVILLEKARLA (3rd) Race 1 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (5) ROSELILY drops a notch after finishing third most recently and scored a facile victory in this class the last time she raced in it on 10-22. (2) COVEREDNDIAMONDS N also gets some class relief tonight, sliding down from the NW7500L5 level, and she gets a driver switch to Jim Marohn Jr. (7) MORE THAN MANY continues to have bad luck at the draw but did advance from eighth to fourth in the final quarter a week ago. She wasn't Jordan Stratton's choice but picks up a quality replacement in Scott Zeron. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW2/25000LT Trot (2) FATHER DUNN switches to an inside post this time after closing to finish second from the seven-hole a week ago. I'll use on top. (5) BATTLE QUEEN got the job done at five cents on the dollar last Thursday and fits the class again here. She's sure to take plenty of wagering attention again. (6) FATHER FIGURE raced well in his debut for Larry Stalbaum in that same event my top two picks exit and may continue to offer value underneath. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (3) BULLVILLEKARLA catches a group here she can contend against and draws inside after having the eight-hole on December 1. (2) SEZANA N has picked up her game since dropping to the NW5000L5 class and gets a third crack at it tonight from a good post. (4) SHE'S A BILLIONAIR gained ground in the last quarter again on 12-1 and gets reunited with Joe Bongiorno tonight. Race 4 - NW8/100000LT Trot (1) THANKFUL FOR YOU makes her Yonkers debut tonight after closing well against some tough foes down at Harrah's Philadelphia last time out. She won the Buckeye Stallion Series Championship at Northfield the last time she raced on a half-mile oval and was Bartlett's choice. (4) PATRIARCH HANOVER got away with soft fractions a week ago and cruised to a victory over NW6's. He steps up a notch here but meets up with a group I think he should have every chance to double up on. (5) FASHION FOREVER has an age advantage in this race being the only 5-year-old, and he has hit the board in this class before. Race 5 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace (1) COLOR ENVY had zero shot from post eight when last seen on 11-24 but moves all the way in to the pole position this time, making her a win threat. (5) SALLY FLETCHER A drops down from recent efforts against NW15000L5's and NW10000L5's, both here and at Harrah's Philadelphia. (4) SHECOULDBEGOOD N just missed in a tough beat on the 24th of November and keeps Marohn Jr. in the bike over another one tonight. Race 6 - NW4/50000LT Trot (6) MARVELOUSTRIX won over NW2's at the Meadowlands in both October and November and has had a series of bad draws across the river since. I'll hope she finds this competition a little more palatable and can work out a trip with some value. (3) KANDY SWEET was Stratton's choice of a bunch here and has threatened in this class before. (4) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE was a close third last Thursday in his debut for trainer Ricky Bucci and switches drivers to Marohn Jr. on this occasion. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Pace (4) ROBYN CAMDEN was best-of-the-rest in the Invitational for Blue Chip Matchmaker Series eligibles last time out. She won at the Open level in September after getting some pace to chase and rallying, and I think that may happen here with the fancied mares to the outside while she's drawn ideally in post four. (7) BETTORS HEART N ships up from Dover after winning its Mares Open Handicap on 12-2. She hasn't done anything wrong since coming to the U.S., was a Group 1 winner in Australia earlier in 2020, and lures Dexter Dunn over to steer. (6) LADY DELA RENTA A had a no-chance trip from post eight in the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series Invtiational. She gets a slightly better draw here and is a known commodity in this class. Race 8 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (8) WISHY WASHY GIRL returns to Yonkers tonight after facing stiff competition at Dover in her last three starts. She gets Dunn to pilot again, and I'll hope he sends her like when she picked up that win locally on 10-8. (4) ANN HILL was no match for Diamondtoothgertie last Thursday and had to settle for second. She gets a chance to partner with Bartlett tonight after being rejected by Marohn Jr., and I'll include. (2) VORST came to a walk a week ago and finished eighth, but since she's right back in the box, I'll trust she's okay. This is a very low spot on the class ladder for her, and she's a threat as long as all systems check out. Race 9 - NW6/75000LT Trot (5) BIG NUDGE owns a couple of recent victories over NW5's down at Harrah's Philadelphia and comes in off a solid third-place effort from post eight down there. (2) ASKMELATER HANOVER made the successful transition from Monticello to Yonkers last week, winning his seventh straight race. He steps up here, but I respect any horse who shows a nose for the wire like this guy does, and I'll include. (3) AFTER ALL PAUL has been racing well but hasn't been able to find the winner's circle since joining the Hudson barn. He did keep Stratton over my top pick. Race 10 - F&M NW15000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM Pace (5) TIPP CITY picked up a confidence-building win in her last start, and though she steps up, she showed the ability to finish second in this class to the sharp Pammy Jo on 10-29. (2) ITS MESMERISE N looks like she did her best work a notch lower than this down at Harrah's Philadelphia, but she has an inside post and shows the ability to leave quick, which you have to respect. (3) NEW YEAR is certain to take plenty of action with Dunn driving for trainer Chris Ryder, but she was a beaten favorite on 12-2 at Harrah's Philadelphia and is a 3-year-old tackling older foes, so I'll take a stand against.
