Race 1 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(8) BETTORS HEART N is in a very soft spot here compared to recent appearances, and although she starts from post eight, I'll give her a shot. (5) POPPY DRAYTON N hasn't had much success against $50,000 claimers but finds a level here where she can contend, especially given her victory over NW10000L5's back on 9-29. (3) MONEYMAKEHERSMILE got a start over the oval on 11-17 and now moves inside on the gate on this occasion.

Race 2 - NW31351L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot

(4) TIMESTORM has won the last two times he's gotten to race at this level and was Jordan Stratton's choice in here. (3) SMOKING JET drops out of the Open in his third local try and was second in the top class two back. (2) NOWS THE MOMENT also slides down from the Open and gets post relief to go with it. Matt Kakaley takes over in the bike with Stratton sticking with my top choice.

Race 3 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(8) THE AMERICAN EAGLE doesn't have much in the way of current form but does a get a trainer change to Per Engblom and got the nod from Jason Bartlett. I'll use in the hopes he fires. (2) HL MAMMOTH has been first or second in five of his last seven tries, and although he's moving up from the NW2 level, he offset that by drawing inside. (3) MUSCLE DAN saw his run of on-the-board results end on 11-17 but moves inside on the gate tonight, and I think he's capable of bouncing back.

Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(6) MAKE IT EASY invades from Woodbine Mohawk Park in sharp form and is now with Travis Alexander. (2) WALK WITH ME hasn't won since coming in from Indiana but has hit the board in all but one of her appearances, so I'll slot her underneath. (5) POCAHONTAS showed the ability to finish second at this level two back.

Race 5 - 25000CLM Pace

(6) SHARK PLAY drops out of the $30,000 claimers, and I think trainer Scott Di Domenico might have a high opinion of this horse since he gave him a try against NW20000L5's in his first start for him on 11-8. He also had to do the first-over work in his last attempt on November 21, so hopefully he can get a smoother trip tonight. (2) TWIN B SPEED DIAL is one of the sharpest claimers around right now and lured George Brennan off my top choice. (1) ROCKINMYSHOE finished third against age-restricted $40,000 claimers last time out and landed the pole tonight.

Race 6 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(4) CIEL BLEU prevailed handily at this level on 11-3, and I'm expecting he'll be closer to the action here as he starts from a better post than he had in his most recent effort. (1) BACKSTREET PLAYER took a long overdue victory on November 17 and drew the pole to help out his chances tonight. (5) STRONGERWITHLINDY is riding a nice streak of on-the-board results dating back to the Massachusetts Sire Stakes in late September, and I will include.

Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Trot

(3) KENZIESKY HANOVER comes in with a third and a second in her last two tries at this level and drew inside of the other logical horses in this contest. (6) HEY LIVVY held sway after taking command from first-over on 11-17 and might be back to her best now. (5) QUEEN OF ALL gained in the lane on Hey Livvy after getting shuffled in that common event on November 17, and I'll include.

Race 8 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(1) TENTHOUSAND ANGELS was a solid second in a NW5000L5 base class event the last time she was at Yonkers, and she gets some post relief here off her last two tries at the Meadowlands. (3) THUNDRA finished third in a NW15000L5 race as recently as 9-22 and returns at the bottom level after a bit of a layoff. (4) BETTORSHIGHLIGHT N has hit the board in three of her last four chances in this class.

Race 9 - NW17481L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Trot

(3) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN finally gets on a somewhat regular racing schedule here after showing a bunch of gaps and scratches in his lines. Hopefully he can build on that try on 11-17 as he drops down a notch. (4) HOOLIE N HECTOR has been out of the top three just once in his last seven attempts and driver Braxten Boyd and trainer Andrew Adamczyk were a hot combo on Monday night. (1) KINDA LUCKY LINDY squeezed into this race by a dollar (he has $17,480 earned in his last five starts) and has won at Yonkers before.
