Race 1 - NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) PONDER THE ODDS returns to Yonkers tonight. She's had quite a bit of success here in the past and was facing NW15000L5's when last seen locally. (3) WOODEMERE SKYROLLER took all the wagering action last week in her debut for trainer Lance Hudson and did put in a stern first-over attack before fading. She drew inside tonight after having post seven in that event. (6) AMERICAN TOUR N races for trainer Carmen Auciello, who is having a strong beginning to 2022. I will toss her in.

Race 2 - F&M NW30000L5 Pace

(4) ANNABELLE HANOVER drops out of the Open and has post relief, too. She also might have needed that race last week since she hadn't made a pari-mutuel start since December 3. (2) MACHNHOPE raced pretty well last Thursday in her first start of 2022 and is another one who could definitely be sharper here. (1) CORAL BELLA wound up being scratched a week ago after being late for Lasix. She got on a great run to cap 2021 and landed the pole.

Race 3 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(8) COUSIN MARY raced at Yonkers a few years ago for trainer Andrew Harris, and her victories included the final of the Petticoat Pacing Series. She comes back down from Canada here in solid form and catches a pretty wide-open group. I'll take a swing from post eight. (3) ROBYN CAMDEN is probably the one to beat here given her history at Yonkers and the drop from NW15000L5's to NW10000L5's. (1) JUXTA COWGIRL has good gate speed and will likely be on or near the lead from the pole.

Race 4 - NW4/50000LT / NW2/50000LT Drawn Inside Trot

(5) IDENTITY POLICE is going to get another shot from me here as he gained positions and ground in the final quarter a week ago and switches drivers to Matt Kakaley, trainer Travis Alexander's go-to pilot. (3) STRIKING GENSON also caught my eye with the way he rallied into a pace-less race last Thursday, and usually horses improve in their second start for trainer Nick Devita. (6) TITANS HOPE defeated NW3's down at Harrah's Philadelphia on Christmas Eve and then went a long way on the lead before finishing third at the Meadowlands on 1-7.

Race 5 - F&M NW20000L5/NW10 / F&M NW15000L5 or NW9 Drawn Inside Pace

(6) NO WIN NO FEED A took her U.S. debut at the Meadowlands on January 7 with an impressive rally, and she was a multi-time Group 1 winner back in Australia. (4) JODY made an uncharacteristic break in stride last week that eliminated her from contention in the Open. She drops tonight and had been razor-sharp since joining Ron Burke's barn. (5) BETTERB CHEVRON N is usable underneath as she has hit the board in three of her last five appearances.

Race 6 - NW6/75450LT Trot

(4) STORM BRINGER finished a strong second to a well-meant winner in his debut for Burke last Thursday, and I will bank on him improving here. (5) CIRCLE OF LIFE AS topped NW6's on December 16 and seems to prefer Yonkers over other tracks on the East Coast. (1) AWESOME TRIX has two solid performances and two breaking efforts since joining her current trainer. She did show early speed in a stakes event at Harrah's Hoosier Park in October of last year, so maybe that's an option from the inside post.

Race 7 - F&M NW10650L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(1) DBLDELITEBRIGADE N just missed as the favorite the last time she raced in this class on December 16 and gets reunited with Scott Zeron here. She also moves inside from post six to the pole. (2) LADYBELUCKYTONITE also slides down a notch and has post relief to go with it. Add in the driver change to George Brennan, and I wouldn't be surprised if she was handled aggressively. (4) ACEFOURTYFOUR ALEX gained spots in the final quarter to finish second in her race last Thursday. She was rejected by Jason Bartlett but gets a solid replacement in Kakaley.

Race 8 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) SANDY WIN hails from a barn that's off to a scorching start to 2022, and she won handily last Thursday. (4) BULLVILLEKARLA tallied two starts back at the Meadowlands and drops out of the NW7500L5's to the bottom level tonight. (3) TELL ME A JOKE moves inside after starting from post eight a week ago, and she advanced from seventh to third in the final quarter of that race.

Race 9 - F&M Open Handicap Pace

(4) LIT DE ROSE started her 2022 campaign with a win last week in the Open and drew well again here. (2) DRAGON ROLL had to do the first-over work last Thursday in the Open and was out-kicked in the stretch. She has post relief tonight. (3) WESTBEACH didn't really have much of a chance to showcase her best on 12-26 or a week ago as she drew poorly on both of those occasions. She was very, very sharp prior to that, and I will include.

Race 10 - NW8/100000LT Trot

(6) EMOTIONS RICHES enters with back-to-back wins and retained Stratton over two others tonight. (1) YOU WILL BE QUEEN rolled to an impressive victory last Thursday and moves in from post six to the inside here. (4) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE lost Stratton this week, but won in game fashion a week ago and has hit the board against NW8's in the past.
