MEET STATS: 197 - 887 / $1,524.12 (-$249.88) BEST BETS: 44 - 89 / $187.60 (+$9.60) SPOT PLAYS: 8 - 89 / $92.50 (-$85.50) BEST BET - NUTTINBUTHEBEST (2nd) SPOT PLAY - CONTACT ZONE (1st) Race 1 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace (3) CONTACT ZONE has just one win this year but he has been performing well in recent weeks, meets up with a pretty wide-open group and exits a fast race for this level. (7) CAPTAIN T HANOVER moves out on the gate but has hit the board in four of his last five tries, and I expect he'll be put in play. (2) I'M THE PRINCE debuts for new connections after being claimed again and has three recent runner-up finishes in this class and against tougher open $25,000 claimers. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (2) NUTTINBUTHEBEST won handily from the pole position on 10-29 and it looks like that certainly could happen again here. (2) EMDOUBLEAKAY took a first-over run at my top selection last Wednesday but was rebuffed and had to settle for second. I'll slot her in the runner-up spot again here, though I should note she gets post relief. (5) EBONY LADY is on a 'win every other week' pattern right now, and if that continues tonight, she'd be going to the winner's circle again. Race 3 - Invitational Trot  (3) FERRETTI scored when he drew this post on 10-16 and I'll hope lightning can strike again here. (4) SOUTHWIND COORS exits stakes company and has had plenty of success at Yonkers this year. (5) UP YOUR DEO also drops out of stakes action and won the Bob Miecuna Invitational handily when last seen at Yonkers on September 13. Race 4 - 40000CLM Trot I have to think (1) PEMBROKE REGAL is going to be put on the front-end here as he moves back inside to the pole position. He was very sharp before two efforts where he raced from off-the-pace and didn't get involved. (4) CANTSTOP YANKEE hasn't won in a bit but has hit the board in six of his last seven tries. (5) CHIPPER DALE rallied past CANTSTOP YANKEE to tally in a $40,000 claiming event last Thursday, and also prevailed a couple of times back in September. Race 5 - NW30901L5 / NW12 PM Races LT / 75000CLM Trot (5) KEG STAND finished third last week to two tougher foes than he faces here, and he won impressively from off-the-pace prior to that. (3) AUSTRAL HANOVER drops out of the Invitational and had won three straight prior to that. (1) HOT FLASH KIMMY just missed after she cut the fractions in the F&M Invitational last Thursday and starts from the pole position again tonight. Race 6 - 40000CLM Trot (3) WARRAWEE WHISPER missed a start last week as the weather caused transportation issues, but he gets some post relief off his last try and gets a driver switch to George Brennan for a high-percentage stable. (4) JAS BLUESTONE hasn't been seen since 10-16 as he was scratched on 10-23. Hopefully there are no lingering issues as he was very sharp and he gets reunited with Tyler Buter. (1) CRAZYLAND tallied against $40,000 claimers on both October 2 and October 16 and gets significant post relief here. Race 7 - 15000CLM Pace This is a field loaded with sharp horses, but I'll stick with (2) MUSCLE BART A as he drew well again tonight and comes off his third victory in this class since 9-17. (3) KILOWATT KID N raced well in a second-place finish to MUSCLE BART A last Thursday and has been outside the exacta just once in his last seven appearances. (6) CHECKONWILLIAM GB is on a three-race win streak but is drawn outside other contenders here, and I'll slot him underneath. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - NW20101L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (3) DW'S POINT MAN continues to work his way down the ladder and gets post relief to go with it tonight. His last win came against tougher NW30000L5's on 9-18. (6) MISSISSIPPI STORM finished fourth in the same race my top pick was fifth in last Thursday, and his most recent victory also came against NW30000L5 company on September 11. (1) SOUTHWIND ARTURO slides in from post eight to the pole position here and won two back at Yonkers. Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace (3) NEYREIT broke past the start while showing speed from the eight-hole on the off track last Wednesday but was sharp prior to that and is back with the trainer he did well with from 10-1 through 10-22 off a re-claim. (2) HOOSIER CELEBRITY woke up with an improved performance a week ago. He gets post relief off that here. (5) DANCE ON THE BEACH has shown the ability to compete in this class in the past and meets up with a pretty wide-open group in this contest.
