(6) THE LAST CHAPTER has been second in his last two amateur contests and also gets a new driver with high-percentage Andrew Adamczyk going in the bike. (1) MAGIC MELVIN starts from the pole position and was victorious the one time he appeared in this series back on September 25. Race 3 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) IRIS SEELSTER has hit the board in four of her last seven outings, including a win in this class on 10-23, and she gets a bit of post relief this time. (1) I LOVED HER FIRST tired in a sixth-place effort last Tuesday but won prior to that. She slides in from the six-hole to the pole position and debuts for a high-percentage stable off the claim. (7) NUTTINBUTHEBEST owns a similar profile to I LOVED HER FIRST as she had won two straight but then didn't fire a week ago. Obviously she's a contender with a top effort. Race 4 - 25000CLM Pace (3) MAXIMUS RED A slides down a notch on the ladder from the $30,000 claiming class and won two straight against $25,000 claiming company on 9-17 and 10-1. (1) STARE ME DOWN came up just a head shy of winning last Thursday. He makes his third start back after a layoff from an improved post tonight and recently added Lasix. (6) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N prevailed at this level a week ago and overcame being parked out for about half the mile in doing so. Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot (3) BLUEBIRD BISHOP posted a second-place finish to an in-form foe a couple of weeks ago and moves in on the gate from the six-hole to post three this time. (4) CHIPPER DALE scored back-to-back victories over $40,000 claimers on 10-30 and 11-6 and debuts for a high-percentage stable off a claim here. (7) WILLY WALTON landed another bad post here but has been performing well for an extended period of time and gets reunited with Tyler Buter. Race 6 - 15000CLM Pace (1) THEFLYINGROCK tallied pretty handily two back and then closed with plenty of pace from the back of the pack last week. He moves all the way in from post eight to the pole position this time. (2) DIAMONDBEACH has just one off-the-board result in his last seven outings and has defeated $15,000 claimers on three occasions during that span. (3) IM A POWERPLAY A is a first-timer for these connections off a claim and has been racing well for an extended period between Yonkers and Harrah's Philadelphia. Race 7 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot (3) DOROTREA TRIO IT steps up again but has won three in-a-row and four of her last five appearances. She makes her second start on Lasix and moves in a couple of notches on the gate also. (5) AUSTRAL HANOVER tallied handily the last time he faced NW20000L5's back on 10-23 and hails out of the leading stable of Per Engblom. (1) BRONZER drops a notch on the ladder and starts from the pole position. He was third in one try at this level on October 23. (3) MAHONE SEELSTER should have picked up confidence with a win against $40,000 claiming company a week ago and could have room for further improvement as he makes his fourth appearance after a layoff. (5) HAT TRICK MARLEAU hasn't been able to find the winner's circle in a bit, but he has been knocking on the door with four runner-up results since mid-September. Race 9 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace I'm going to give (5) MY PLAYMATE GB another shot tonight as he wound up first-over last Wednesday but only faded a bit very late in the stretch. Any smoother trip here would be welcome. (7) LOU'S BEACH has hit the board in six of his last seven appearances since September 8 with a pair of wins in this class during that span. He debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. (1) I B LOVIN missed out on a scheduled start a week ago but was a good third prior to that and shows a victory at this level on the 27th of September.
