Race 1 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(3) POCAHONTAS has a goose egg in the win column this year and is just one-for-28 lifetime, but we often see shippers from Woodbine Mohawk Park do well on this circuit, and there's no obvious standout in here. (7) HECKRAISER HANOVER is on a nice run of on-the-board finishes except for the time he broke on 10-21 at Harrah's Philadelphia. I'll include. (6) B THREEWINDS invades from Dayton off a victory in their NW2/3 class. She didn't have any success on half-mile ovals on the Kentucky Fair Circuit this summer.

Race 2 - Open Handicap Trot

(4) SMOKING JET bounced back after breaking in the Miecuna on International Trot Day to finish second in the Open last Friday, and I'll look for him to build on that tonight. (3) STORMY KROMER is always capable of winning like he did two back. He followed along on the rail a week ago in the Open Handicap, so he may be ready for a more aggressive approach again here. (5) AMIGO VOLO picked up a hefty payday in the Breeders Crown Open Trot when he rallied to finish third and then was elevated to second by placing. He has the TVG final upcoming at the Meadowlands, so he doesn't "need" to win here at what will probably be a low price.

Race 3 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(5) SLAVE LABOUR finished fourth last week against a tougher group of NW4's than he faces here and I'll give him the nod. (1) DOWN THE PIKE MIKE has a trainer change to Jenny Melander here. She has a good knack with trotters, and this horse showed the ability to finish second against NW4's at Pocono in September. (4) QUINCY MARKET was third against NW6 types a couple of times in October but has struggled his last two times out. He has a new driver here with Dan Dube taking over.

Race 4 - NW20000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/30000CLM/NW15000L5 or NW9 PM Races LT Drawn Inside Trot

(5) HAT TRICK MARLEAU is worth another shot tonight as he had no chance last Wednesday when he showed speed and got parked out. He was a solid second at this level prior that. (6) TAKE ALL COMERS has won all of his overnight races on his page, including last time out on 10-28. He was Jordan Stratton's choice of three. (2) HIGHLAND MOWGLI has been on a tear since coming into the Ron Burke barn and certainly merits inclusion.

Race 5 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(2) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL hopefully finds a softer spot here than the NW4 foes she's been facing lately. She is the lone 3-year-old in here against older foes, but I'll look for her to overcome that. (5) CRUSH ME rallied to finish second when she dropped down to the bottom level a week ago and takes a second crack at it here from an improved post. (3) HEY HEY DBAY hasn't had much of a shot from outside draws in her last pair of outings but moves inside on the gate this week and switches drivers to George Brennan.

Race 6 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(5) NICE GUY EDDIE miscued before the start on 10-27 but had won two in-a-row prior to that. That might inflate his price a bit as Dube takes over in the bike. (2) CIEL BLEU won impressively from first-up last Thursday in his second start for trainer/driver Pat Lachance and gets to stay in the NW4 class due to his lifetime earnings being under the cap. (4) CANTSTOP YANKEE also downed NW4 foes a week ago and has missed the board just once in his last five efforts.

Race 7 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(2) WALK WITH ME remains in search of her first victory since coming in from Indiana. She has been knocking on the door and trainer Izzy Estrada is sending out some live horses, so I'll swing. (6) SAID N DONE AS defeated NW2's last week for Jordan Stratton and Anette Lorenzton and gets to compete at the same level tonight. (3) SECRET RULE closed with some interest against NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia most recently and did hit the board twice against NW2's at Pocono in October.

Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Trot

(1) TITANS HOPE won on the front-end two back, and although this is a tougher class than that one was, maybe she can set up shop on or near the point from pole in this short field. She also gets reunited with Dube. (6) GREY has two straight victories in this class, and she was able to overcome the eight-hole last week. (2) HEY LIVVY was surprisingly empty in the F&M Open a week ago given her solid qualifier on 10-21. She has the class to rebound.

Race 9 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(8) TEMPUS SEELSTER couldn't get the job done at 4-5 last Thursday but will probably offer a much better price tonight from eight-hole, and given her on-the-board finish against NW10000L5 base class foes on October 20, she merits another chance. (2) SOUND IDEA crunched bottom level foes a week ago and although she steps up tonight, this is a pretty weak group for this class. (4) SCANDALICIOUS was fourth in a race dominated by Sports Flix on 10-27 and doesn't face anybody here with that kind of form.
