SPOT PLAY-CLASSICAL JANE (2nd)
Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace
(7) MASTER MIKI just missed in this class in a game effort on 10-12 and debuts for a high-percentage stable off a claim tonight. (5) BLOWIN SMOKE was second against NW5000L5s in his first outing for his current connections on October 20 and was facing tougher claiming company at Harrah's Philadelphia prior to that. He also gets a driver switch to Brent Holland. (1) BEGGIN FOR BACON was sharp at Monticello not all that long ago and starts from the pole with Jordan Stratton taking over the driving.

Race 2 - 40000CLM Trot
(3) CLASSICAL JANE makes her way back to the $40,000 claiming class after racing in the F&M Invitational lately, and she gets reunited with Dan Dube, who tallied with her at this level on September 10. (5) STACKING GREEN returned to her victorious ways a week ago and showed a new dimension by rallying off cover to get the job done. (6) BELLISSIMO FACE S kept Tyler Buter over my top selection and with good reason as he's prevailed four consecutive times for his current connections.
Race 3 - F&M Invitational Trot
(4) HOT FLASH KIMMY came up just a nose short against Payback Moni, the top mare at this level, last week and doesn't have to face that rival tonight. (5) VOGUISH shows a trio of recent victories in the F&M Invitational and gets Holland back in the bike this time. (6) ALWAYS A STORY also avoids having to race against Payback Moni here and was fourth in the same event HOT FLASH KIMMY exits from last Thursday.
Race 4 - 40000CLM Trot
(2) SHE'S SPICY debuts for a high-percentage stable off a winning qualifier at Harrah's Philadelphia, and I'll give her top call. (4) SIR MAVERICK gets post relief this week and has had success in this class before. He uses trotting hobbles for the third time in this contest as well. (6) BANG BANG BOOGIE was the top 3-year-old in Minnesota this year until he miscued in his sire stakes final at Running Aces. He was victorious for his new trainer in a qualifier at Pocono last Wednesday and is usable.
Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace
(7) BLACK EDITION N didn't have a great trip last week but is in sharp form overall with five on-the-board results in his last seven outings and is a first-timer for a high-percentage stable off a claim. He also gets Bartlett in the bike. (1) WALKINSHAW N shows a couple of recent triumphs against $15,000 claimers at Yonkers, landed the pole position and gets reunited with Holland. (4) BLOCKBUSTER TRADE rallied for a victory at this level last Wednesday and moves in a couple of notches on the gate this time.
Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace
(1) HARD TO CATCH is just one-for-29 in the win column this year but gets a chance to team up with Bartlett again against a wide-open group, moves in on the gate to the pole position and has paced good final quarters in his last two tries. (2) TYPHOON BANNER N drops a notch out of the $30,000 claiming level and trainer Joe Bongiorno takes back over the driving. (3) SAILBOAT HANOVER goes from the five-hole to post three this time and gets Holland back at the controls.
Race 7 - Open 1 Trot
(3) SOUTHWIND COORS has by far the best post he's had since his second-place result in last month's Bob Miecuna Invitational Trot, and hopefully that means he's able to go to the lead or sit in the pocket at worst. (5) GREEN PASTURES returns after one appearance at Harrah's Philadelphia and won handily over NW30000L5s at Yonkers on October 1. (6) SIR PINOCCHIO defeated a 1-5 favorite in his second consecutive victory a week ago and is capable of getting to the winner's circle again tonight.

Race 8 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot
(5) STORMONT DIVIDE closed in 28 and change against NW30000L5s a week ago and now drops a notch in his second outing back at Yonkers here. (4) KILDARE KING's only recent off-the-board effort came from a bad post two back; otherwise he's been sharp as a tack and is likely the one to beat again. (1) ROYAL COMET owns a victory at this level back on 9-17 and finished second to KILDARE KING last Thursday after a long first-over grind.
Race 9 - NW5000L5 who are NW L3 Starts / 12500CLM / New York-Breds Preferred Pace
(8) BELIEVE IN TOM scored in his debut for this stable on Sunday at Harrah's Philadelphia, and I'll put him on top here even from the eight-hole against a blank field. (3) ROCKIN JUKEBOX gets a driver change to Holland and maybe he can map out the right type of trip for a horse who does show a third against tougher NW7500L5s as recently as late September. (2) BONDI SHAKE N takes a third crack at bottom level foes tonight, and you have to think one of these times he's going to break through given his appearances in higher classes in his recent lines.
