Race 1 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(1) PAIGE'S GIRL drops and moves inside this week after closing in 27 1/5 last Thursday. (5) BYE BYE MICHELLE was a solid third in a NW10000L5 race a week ago and moves down the class ladder tonight. (4) MACZAFFAIR N is another mare exiting the NW10000L5 level. She went off at odds-on on October 7 but couldn't get the job done.

Race 2 - 3YO NW1/17500LT Trot

(2) TRIUMPHUS gets quite a bit of class relief by exiting the NW3 level at Harrah's Philadelphia and also has a much better post than he did in that race down there. Driver Troy Beyer has been doing some good work at various tracks lately, and I'll look for him to map out the winning strategy. (6) DROP THE MIC missed a scheduled appearance a week ago, but it actually works out for him as he gets another chance against NW1's instead of having to face NW2's. (3) OPERATION SHIPLEY makes her third start for trainer Scott Di Domenico and had plenty of trot on the end of the mile last Thursday.

Race 3 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(5) GREENHILL HANOVER slides down to the bottom level tonight and has been "sneaky good" in her last pair of starts. She was too high in class on 10-7 but did close in 27 and change from post eight and then gained spots and ground in the back-half of the mile last Thursday. I will use. (1) HIGH ROLLING A drops out of the NW7500L5's here. The last time she hit the board was a second-place finish in a NW5000L5 on 9-15, and maybe Jordan Stratton just rolls her like he did that time. (8) SANDY WIN drew poorly, but she did advance from sixth to third in the final quarter a week ago. She also has a driver change to Scott Zeron.

Race 4 - NW2/25000LT Trot

(3) BARKEEPER owns just a single victory this year, but he has been knocking on the door lately. I wouldn't mind seeing him on the lead like on 9-24 in that NW3 event down at Harrah's Philadelphia. (2) SOUTHERN SWAN MAN raced well to finish second in his Yonkers debut last Thursday, and he might have needed that start since he hadn't made a pari-mutuel appearance since September 1. (6) GREG had pretty much every chance to win in that dash on 10-7 but gave way late. He did tally over NW1's on 9-23, but I'll swing against.

Race 5 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace

(5) GOLDEN QUEST N isn't having the same success this year that she did in 2020, but I think this class is one she can do some damage in. (3) PETTYCOAT BUSINESS moves down from the NW15000L5's and gets an inside post for the first time since back on 9-16. (4) EDGE OF ETERNITY tallied pretty handily over a group of NW7500L5's last Thursday. She makes her third start out of the hot Nick Devita barn, and I believe the class hike isn't too daunting for her.

Race 6 - NW4/50000LT Trot

(2) CREATIVE VENTURE prevailed over NW4's at Yonkers on 9-30 and then was a solid fourth in a subsequent effort in the NW5 class at Harrah's Philadelphia. (1) CHAPOLIER made breaks in both starts here for Lance Hudson on September 23 and September 30. He minded his manners in a qualifier at Monticello before this race, so that's something to build on. (5) FAWN DE TOUCH has a victory at this level back in late August and closed with good trot on the 12th of October at Pocono.

Race 7 - F&M Open Handicap Pace

(2) TEMPUS SEELSTER has the acid test for just how good she is tonight. I've really liked what I've seen from her thus far at Yonkers, and I'm willing to give her a shot. (4) RACINE BELL supplemented into the Breeders Crown, so the connections are showing faith in her, but she hasn't won locally since mid-August, and I'll try and beat her again. (7) SIESTA BEACH will probably be last in the early going here, but I think she can rally enough to hit the ticket.

Race 8 - NW7/84000LT Trot

(4) ALTUS HANOVER comes into this race with six straight on-the-board results and ended up getting Jason Bartlett to drive at scratch time. (3) GAB IN MOTION won very impressively on October 7 but then broke while sitting in the pocket last Thursday. I think he can rebound. (1) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE is taking advantage of this different class being used to exit the NW30000L5 level. That's a pretty significant drop, and I imagine he'll be on or near the lead.

Race 9 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace

(4) SOUND IDEA closed in 27 3/5 to finish third in a race won by Tempus Seelster a couple weeks ago. She faces a much softer group tonight, and I'll hope she's on the lead or in the pocket. (5) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY made a good impression after shipping in from Ohio by finishing second in a NW8 race. I do think this is a pretty tough spot for a 3-year-old against a field of older mares, but she might be able to handle it. (2) SCANDALICIOUS started off 2021 just one-for-25 but has now won back-to-back starts.

Race 10 - F&M NW30000L5 Pace

(3) BETTERB CHEVRON N rallied from seventh to third in the back-half of the mile a week ago, and she gets considerable post relief tonight. She won at this level on 9-23 and 8-19, so I think she's quite dangerous. (5) THE BETHINATOR invades from the Midwest where she was a regular in the Opens at Dayton, Harrah's Hoosier, Scioto, and Northfield. She could definitely make an immediate impact. (4) SPORTS FLIX finished second in this class a couple weeks ago and has hit the board in four of her last six appearances.

Race 11 - NW6/75000LT Trot

(6) WET MY WHISTLE overcame an early miscue to finish second on 10-7. Driver Daniel Dube should know her better tonight, and hopefully she'll make no mistakes. (4) COCKTAILS N DREAMS wound up a strong second last Thursday when she got to partner with Matt Kakaley, and he's back in the bike here. She's also one of just two 4-year-olds in here. (2) PIVOTAL had the misfortune of running into the red-hot Duchesspedia on September 30, but he gets considerable post relief out of that race and has a driver switch to George Brennan.

Race 12 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 Pace

(7) APRIL AVA raced against NW30000L5's at Yonkers when she was here back in August and returns after a string of solid performances at Pocono. (2) NORMAN'S MADELINE was third at this level back on September 23 and was Jim Marohn Jr.'s choice in this race. (4) CASH ROLL hasn't done anything wrong since joining the Ray Schnittker barn and was second to Tempus Seelster after having to do the first-over work on 10-7.
