Race 1 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(3) EDGE OF ETERNITY rallied from seventh to fourth against NW10000L5 company on 9-29. She drops a notch tonight and moves inside on the gate here. (5) ITZPAPALOTL makes her second start back after a layoff tonight. She finished up in 27 3/5 down at Harrah's Philadelphia on September 23 and was Jason Bartlett's choice. (6) THUNDRA was third against NW15000L5's two back and comes off an excuse race last time out as she was bothered and then wound up having to do the first-over work.

Race 2 - F&M Open Handicap Trot

(3) GHOSTINTHESHELL S drops out of stakes company and has won every overnight race she's been in on her lines. (5) I DA PRINCESS gets co-owner Yannick Gingras to come in and drive and has hit the board in this class before. (6) HEY LIVVY gets to face just mares here after racing in the Open Handicap Trot lately. She's always a threat at this level as long as she minds her manners.

Race 3 - F&M NW12191L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM/NW7 PM Races LT Pace

(1) ANDRA DAY closed with a lot of pace after shaking free last week and gets to drop a class tonight. (3) GAME OF SHADOWS squeezed into this race by $1 (she has $12,190 earned in her last five starts) and won the last time she raced at this level on 7-21. (4) IN LOU OF MONEY makes her second start for trainer Nick Devita tonight and slides down out of a NW15000L5 base class race.

Race 4 - F&M NW15136L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 PM Races LT Pace

(1) ALWAYS B MIMI found the NW20000L5 class too tough but gets to slide down tonight and also picks up Gingras in the bike. (4) BETTORS HEART N gets post relief here after finishing fifth last Thursday and retained Bartlett's services over other horses in here. (5) DRAMA ACT has struggled to find the winner's circle since winning the Blue Chip Matchmaker Series final here earlier this year, and I'll take a shot against her on top.

Race 5 - F&M NW7500L5/Winners in the Last Start of Base Class NW5000L5/15000CLM Pace

(2) MAJOR BATTLE couldn't deliver at 4-5 at Harrah's Philadelphia last time out, but she's usually very dangerous at Yonkers in this type of class, and she should offer a better price than she did most recently. (5) SARAH'S LILLY handled NW5000L5 base class foes pretty easily last Thursday. She steps up tonight but shows a third-place finish against NW10000L5's on 9-22 and has a driver change to Bartlett. (4) HEY HEY DBAY didn't fire at all a week ago but gets to drop again and gets a shot with Gingras in the bike.

Race 6 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace

(8) CORAL BELLA is stuck out in post eight but does drop down to the bottom level after finishing a gaining fourth versus NW7500L5's last Thursday. She was Jordan Stratton's choice, and hopefully she'll offer some value she otherwise wouldn't have. (4) ROCKNROLL ANNIE went a long way on the lead before ending up second a week ago in her first start back after a layoff. She could definitely be sharper tonight. (2) SOME KINDA ANGEL has burned some money in her last two attempts as she hasn't been able to win as the favorite. She has hit the board both times, though.

Race 7 - F&M NW20000L5/30000CLM/NW10 PM Races LT Pace

(1) VIOLETS RAINBOW had a pretty good return to action last week, picking up a check against NW30000L5's. She gets some class relief here, starts from the pole, and looks like she'll be on or near the lead. (2) BABS JANSEN won three back and then was hampered by outside draws in her last two tries. She landed inside tonight and can probably be handled more aggressively. (5) BEST HEAD WEST scored at this level two back and exits the same race my top pick comes out of. She was stuck out in post eight last Thursday but has an improved starting spot here.

Race 8 - F&M Open Handicap Pace

(4) DELITFULCATHERIN N was part of fast early tempo in the Open on 9-29 that set it up for the closers. I thought she did well to finish third considering the circumstances and is a known commodity at this level. She also gets Jordan Stratton back in the bike. (6) FIRE START HANOVER gets away from Test Of Faith and the best open pacing mares around to compete in this event. She did win her only two overnight races on the page at Harrah's Philadelphia and Pocono back in August. (3) SIESTA BEACH has found her top form with just one off-the-board finish in her last seven outings and drew inside the other main dangers.

Race 9 - F&M NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Pace

(7) GOLDEN QUEST N got a check in the Open at Yonkers two back and returns after making one start down at Harrah's Philadelphia. I think there's a shot she could get overlooked in this fairly wide-open event, and I'll take a shot with her. (2) LUCKY ARTIST A looks like she faces a softer group than she has in her last couple of tries and did win at this level back in early August. (1) MORNING HAS BROKEN took advantage of a chance to face $50,000 claimers on October 4 and scored a win. She was claimed out of that race by the high-percentage Jared Bako stable and adds Bartlett in the bike.
